For every 2 cards banished this way, banish the top card of your Opponent's deck. This card is unaffected by the effects of Effect Monsters. Banish the Top 4 cards of your Deck every time this effect is activated. You can only have 1 "Shadowstorm Basilisk" on the field at a time. This card can only be Special Summoned by selecting selecting 1 of your LIGHT and 1 of your DARK banished monsters and shuffling them to your Deck. Once per turn: You can pay 1000 Life Points to banish every Spell/Trap card on the field and inflict 300 points of damage per card. This monster is unaffected by Effect Monster and Trap effects. ATK / 2800 DEF / 2300 D.D. Gardna LIGHT / Level 3 [ Warrior / Effect ] You can return this banished card to the Graveyard: Negate 1 of your Opponent's attacks. You can only use the effect of this card once per duel. ATK / 800 DEF / 400 A Darker Night Spell / Quick-Play Until the end of the turn, whenever a card is sent from the Opponent's Deck to the Graveyard by a card effect, banish the bottom card of the Opponent's Deck. Nightvision Trap Pick up the top 3 cards of your Opponent's Deck (without looking at them). Randomly select 2 and banish them. Shuffle the remaining one into the Opponent's Deck. (Or Orient) Nightfall: A bit breaks the combo, but can be a good tech in Necroface Mill deck. Anchorage: Seems interesting. A weaker version of a Summonable Wulf, but with a special effect. Nice. Philistine: Wulf-clone, but the archetype needs it. However: why LV3? Hunter: Ryko-clone, but better. Can kill Stardust, which makes it stronger. And me likes Reptiles. Prowler: Another nice concept for this archetype. It's a good LS hate, but can also screw some meta Decks. Especially Twilight, of course. Knight: Another good card. Unique effect, good beatstick. Maybe the ATK is too much: the archetype has a lots of beatsticks. Sorcerer: Good anti-meta card, interesting ability again. Basilisk: Grammar error: "... by having 4 or more "Darker" monsters Removed from Play". And every other term is RFP or RFG. Change them to banished. Also really broken: it doesn't need 4 different monsters, 3 copies of 1 monster and an other is also enough, really awesome beatstick, good banish-mill from your opponent's Deck, immunity from Caius and others, and also mills when it needs, not the end of the turn. An instant limit would hit this card. Make it more balanced: don't allow that the 4 monsters can be the same (so it'd need different names), don't allow more than 1 Basilisk to the field at the same time. Envoy of the Afterlife: Hmm. At this format, it's not as strong, but maybe the damage is a bit too much. Maybe you should disable the attack if it already used its effect, since it's easy to Summon in this Deck. D.D. Gardna: good Necro Gardna "darkish" version. Balanced, more balanced than the original. A Darker Night: A meh Side Deck card, nothing special. Maybe if it were doing its effect every time when your opponent mills and not only by Lightsworn, it would be more interesting and useable. Nightvision: Reverse-Duality? Seems good, but some cards already did that (like the Mental Seeker Psychic). The monsters are ok, some of them is a bit OP'd (maybe there is too much beatsticks, but the main reason is that the bosses are really broken at 3), but the S/T supports are bad. Needs a good draw engine. It'd be interesting to see something different from the LS draw engine. ... ...oh, rating? Well, I'll give you[b] 9/10[/b] because I'm kind-hearted. Link to comment
Agro Posted September 20, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 20, 2011 ALRIGHT. time to do some editing (finally, no thanx to u #); 2 biggest complaints: Shadowstorm and Anchorage, will give them a bubble bath to clean them up; fumbling around with Knight because I still want him to be able to overpower Jain (would like more comments on him; Philistine should be Level 4 (dunno how that happened, maybe I was thinking Leviair); Gardna needs an attribute and type; and I'm gonna need to chuck in a shootload of support cards! EDIT: Also fixed up A Darker Night and Envoy of the Afterlife; support will be on the way Link to comment
Donsheo Posted September 20, 2011 Report Share Posted September 20, 2011 Shadowstorm is OK now, even with Anchorage. Knight is also seems good now. Gardna should be Warrior. A Darker Knight: Change it to Quick-Play Spell. Envoy of the Afterlife: still overpowered. Make sure that it cannot attack if it used its effect, then it's ok. Maybe the ATK could be decreased too (maybe to 2500-2600). Link to comment

I can't remember Darker Monolith>>>>effect veiler? basically, its very splashable and really powerful. Needs to be a bit more archetype-specific. Night Vision would be better if you could either look at the cards because it doesn't seem useful at the moment. Zera the Mant is a very nice idea but at the moment he is simultaneously just as splashable and powerful as BLS/Chaos Sorceror/ etc, so his ability needs toning down. He's too untouchable. Pretty good set of cards as usual, even if they'd be a bit powerful irl. Link to comment
