My Mystical Knight of Jackal Spin Deck

The Dark One

Mystical Knight of Jackal is a great card that has been around for a long time now. It hasn't ever really caught on, but for some reason I always really liked it. Not ready to give up on it yet, I've decided to make a deck out of it and a few other cards with similar effects.

Chain Destruction isn't so bad as I have so much recursion in this deck, though I do see how it could be a danger. Prohibition isn't much of a card, it has to stay on the field, and it's completely useless if you don't draw the card that your opponent banned.

I understand how those cards could be a danger, since I am running duplicates of al my monsters except Cyber Dragon, but I have a problem, How do I minimize this danger without reducing the consistency of my deck? Multiple copies of cards are generally run to make it more likely to draw into them. If I start changing cards around, I will lose some of my consistency. And advice is appreciated.

Oh, and anomu, what do you mean you can only help over PM? That's fine with me, but I'm not quite understanding your reasoning here.

I don't like discussing decks in threads anymore' date=' sense 2 other people keep dissing my opinions and throwing down, and also neg repping me, so I try to keep things private...but nvm that, I have other things to do...like work on my new set

Well, of course we are going to call out when you give wrong/bad advice. Otherwise we are doing a disservice to those that ask for advice.

Anyway, the only change I would make would be possibly Maining 1 Raiza over 1 Sphinx. Nice deck.

Thanks guys. And Pudding, my plan was already to have Raizas go in for Guardian Sphinx in Game 2. I might make that switch, then I can go either way in Game 2.

On another forum, the general consensus was that I take out 2 Staunch Defender, 2 Final Attack Orders, 1 Fissure, and either the Rats or the Momongas. Then add 2 Conscription, 2 Shrink, another Enemy Controller, and 3 Enraged Battle Ox.

The reasoning was that Final Attack Orders made Guardian Sphinx very vulnerable and my opponent wouldn't be attacking while the Jackal is on the field so Staunch Defender wouldn't see much use.

I really liked the Conscription suggestion, normally it isn't such a good card because of the luck factor, but think, If I just spinned a Raiza back to the top of my opponent's deck, I could activate Conscription, knowing that I'd be getting a 2400 ATK beatstick out of the deal. The Enemy Controller was suggested to make Falcos more useful in the absence of FAO. Shrink is obviously a very useful card in this sort of deck, it can make Falcos overpower Monarchs or Jackal do even more damage, etc. It could even save Jackal from Light and Darkness Dragon, as LADD would negate it and decrease it's ATK by 500. I'm not so sure about the Battle Ox.

Anyways, what do you think of these changes?
