Oh look! I decided to make a controversially wrong situation as a YGO card!

Ethnic Cleansing
Normal Spell Card

Activate if the only monsters you control are at least 2 face-up monsters of the same Type and Attribute. Declare 1 Type or 1 Attribute. Your opponent must flip all face-down monsters they control into face-up Defense Position (if they have any). Destroy all monsters of the declared Type or Attribute on your opponent's side of the field and your opponent must send all monsters from their hand to the Graveyard with the declared Type or Attribute (If there is a card active on the field whose effect has cards Banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard, Banish those cards instead).

Wait, so the type or attribute you declare doesn't have to be the ones shared by the monsters on your field?

So you could run this in almost any archtype based deck, against any other archtype based deck (I'm guessing about just under half of people who play YGO play an archtype most often say) to immediately wipe out all the monsters on their field and in their hand. Which brings to mind:

The card you've made is more spammable, can be easier to trigger (instantly) depending on the rest of your deck, and can potentially take out more targets. Good idea why?

One more thing: Is the last line about banishment necessary OCG now?

maybe making it both same type and attribute would be a better choice to make it more specific, but yea it's meant to be general archtype hate.

The last line is actually essential since cards with effects that state "Send to the Graveyard" cannot be used if something like Macro Cosmos is out.

The last line isn't needed. Effects like that of Macro Cosmos only prevent costs, not effects, so this can still be used. Since it's your opponent's cards, it should also discard - half the value of Dark Worlds and Fableds is that they can turn effects like this against the user.

Being able to pick either type or attribute seems a bit much, since most decks will probably have a significant proportion of monsters of one type or attribute, to utilise support for those cards, regardless of whether they have an archetype or not.
Maybe having two cards, once for each (such as Gozen Match & Rivalry of Warlords), might be more fitting - the two would be cards you'd add to the side for specific matches, rather than one that will be useful against nearly everything.
