But it has Kotemon, but it seems that he's going to be evil again. I want Kotemon as a hero!

Just another reason why Yuu and Damemon are my favorite team in this season.

Actually, I thought that Kotemon was just after strong opponents. So I don't count that as evil.

Yuu & co. is by far the best character of the season.

This episode is my favorite of the new season. Akari's return was nice, I'm glad that Yuu got to shine in this episode, and Zenjirou's appearance was funny. The writers must really not know their audience if they wanted us to agree with Tagiru when he called Zenjirou annoying.

Looking forward to the Nene episode next week.

I'm really not liking the episodes at all so far...

All it has been is fillers pretty much and watching Tagiru hunting random ass digimon... I see no development aside from the slight encounters with the other trio. There are no ultimate goals... No code crowns to get, no lands to conquer, no evil emperor to stop... Nothing

I like to consider this more of an introductory arc. We're getting used to the new cast of characters, and Tagiru and Yuu have been building up their teams, with Tagiru regrettably having more success in that regard. Even though Yuu is the one who captured SuperStarmon, and indeed played perhaps the most important part in his defeat, it is Tagiru who is regarded as having the makings of a superstar. That is some serious Shilling the Wesley, and I hate it. I found Yuu irritating, but he's become so awesome that I completely ignore that fact. Even worse, when Zenjirou - a very popular character, mind you - returns, Tagiru is the one who thinks he's annoying. It's like the writers haven't caught on with fan reaction to the characters.

Hopefully by episode 70 we'll have a definite story arc to develop, and the anime needs to reflect the manga by adapting its own version of this. I would even settle for seeing the characters going back to the regular Digital World, or better yet, having the plot involve the real world, the Digital World, and DigiQuartz to a far greater extent than it already has.. The story has those three worlds to work with, and it needs to take full advantage of that.

I just think that it's ironic that Tagiru, the most annoying character is calling out Zenjirou for being annoying.

Also, it just doesn't seem right that Tagiru is getting all these massive, powerful digimon. MetalTyrannomon, Sagomon and Gigabreakdramon do not really match the "description" of a protagonist's digimon. Compare them to Ballistamon, Dorulumon, and Taiki's original group. It would seem fitting for Tagiru to get them as the story progresses but not this early in the season. I expect an "eye-opening" experience in regard to Tagiru's reckless hunting by him losing most of his digimon.

In fact, Zenjirou's popularity is in fact a result of his personality.

Unfortunately, since the criteria for "main Digimon partner" consists entirely of "dragon", MetalTyrannomon and GigaBreakdramon are actually good examples of the team. They just don't match Ballistamon and Dorulumon, who are meant to bring up parallels to the Kabuterimon and Garurumon families.
