Meanwhile, first-year student Akashi Tagiru from the same team is, by a strange coincidence, hurled into another space — DigiQuartz. In this new chapter, the Digimon that inhabit a world where time different to the Human World flows called "DigiQuartz" appears. The Digimon, who amplify their own abilities due to the darkness and desires in people’s hearts, cause mysterious phenomena and incidents to occur one after another. In order to hunt Digimon of the like and resolve the incidents, the boys rush into DigiQuartz. Participating in these battles is the “Protagonist Team”, consisting of the new protagonist, Tagiru, and Taiki Kudo and Yuu Amano (protagonist and antagonist of the previous season). And, there’s the “Rival Team”, which is composed of two girls and one boy who constantly go Digimon Hunting over and over again. Both these teams return the Digimon they try to target, battling in a “3-on-3 format” each time![/b] Airing on October 2nd this year So what are you're opinions on this people. This is the first time I've actually [i]not[/i] wanted a new Digimon series. Zenjirou and Akari should have gotten Xros Loaders, and introducing four new characters who get some instead is just stupid, especially because one of them is a blatant expy of Davis. I hate Yuu, and the fact that they're continuing his role as a recycling is Ken is annoying. I'm perfectly fine with Taiki and Shoutmon coming back, however. Something that's bugged me about Xros Wars is that it keeps including Digimon that have never showed up in previous seasons that I had planned to put in Hopeless Paradise. Dracmon is even supposed to be one of the partner Digimon, so the thing I want to see the most out of this season is how Dracmon will work as a main character. I've also heard that the previous protagonists are coming back somehow. Honestly, the only reasons I'm excited for this are for things that aren't just because this is a continuation of Xros Wars. DarkKnightmon and Tactimon are two of my favorite villains in the entire franchise, and I doubt that this season will come up with a more impressive villain. I [i]will[/i] watch this, but I won't have high hopes for this. It's especially sad that I was actually more enthusiastic for Zexal than I am for this.
