Agro
This is something I've wanted (and more recently tried) to do for a while. We can't really talk strategy about decks anymore since that section has been taken over by other games. And the section we are supposed to do that within is only used for small talks about specific cards and TCG news. My suggestion is to make a new section or subsection where we can post a guide to an entire deck. I think it could be a new idea and a workable idea. It would not work like the current deck section, which just posts decks and asks for help with them, but it would either suggest an idea, or cement an already usable idea, and give tips and information on how it works and how to play it. This is a good thing to do for newbies, both of the game, and even of YCM, seeing as scrubs will be able to see how good decks work and make better cards in the RC section. Most importantly, it actually allows threads that this section would be made for to work, as they would not crowd up the rest of the TCG section and any deck discussions not done well will fall off the map because no one wants to know how to play it. Even if you're indifferent, I'd love to hear an opinion.

EDIT: Deleted line for clarity (I hope clarity was the only problem)
.Rai
... Or just post the deck and a guide for those who want to play it in Your Deck? Seriously though, I get what you mean, but it's not necessary. RC noobs won't look, and TCG posters won't really need it. The DN forums have it, but that's DN. bilaterus
http://www.pojo.biz/...splay.php?f=104 Something like this? I wouldn't object to anything which helps educate the masses (myself included!) Really, its a matter of interest, and hopefully these can offer members something not yet necessarily offered- intellectual discussion and experimentation on various archetypes, rather than the spam 'miracle dig sucks, end of' posts they are stuck with now. Ieyasu Tokugawa
Problem is we have the TCG section for deck-type discussions and there's a Overarching deck guide in the Deck section. There are essentially infinite deck possibilities (disregarding how good they would be), covering them all would just be a pain. And @ above, certain cards genuinely do suck and deserve no real discussion, and some cards are broke and deserve no real discussion. I haven't actually seen any comments like that in quite some time.

Bob the Rainicorn
Lets see how popular they would be. Make 1 guide to start off, and if its consistently popular, we shall make more. Do you want to work with me on this idea?

Althemia
Let's focus on renaming the sections first. :l
Lonk
It's actually a good idea. I doubt most people in the TCG section don't know how to make bestJurrac.Dek.

They do, since there's only two/three different builds :/
motorcyclez
I like the idea, but as pointed out, look at how many deck types there are. There would need to be quite an effort put in to this.
Catterjune
Let's focus on renaming the sections first. :l
Why? if there's no demand for it, there's no reason to change anything. I mean, this is all pretending that sections can be spawned and all that, and the admins actually took the time to bother to post here. A deck strategy section looks like it'd quickly devolve into spam and useless minor side conversations (as pojo's deck strat seems to go. Got bored of the first 4 or so posts of the Six Sam thread so IDK, maybe it gets better.)
Bob the Rainicorn
upon analysis, I don't think this idea would work out. Most decks are already solidified in the major way to build it, what is important are techs to better yourself during a format.
