Vlad Said to the new guy "Back at the Base, I had Contact with Aluria's Temple... I had not expected it to follow me after unlocking it, but nonetheless, It had a test for me before it could give me my 3rd power... Repel the Temple from the most Negative point within the city, Whether done by actually repelling it by purging the Negativity or by attracting it to a different area by increasing the Negativity there." She remembered her past events, right when she saw Malus and Sensed his Negative Energy, Appearing as a picture in a television Screen in the mindscape...

Jared seemed to be one of the only one in the van that wasn't asleep. What he didn't know was that they were all talking to each other.
He pulled out his lighter again started messing around with it flicking it on and off yet again. He tried to make more complicated shapes with the flame but the only shape he could get was something that resembled a hammer. When the van came to stop at a light Jared asked, "Hey can I get out here?"

"Thanks. Don't hold back on my account," Keith said dryly in response to the agents remarks. "Its not my fault my power forces me to expand some of my awareness outside my body for it to work. You could have still knocked." He made as to brush the sugar away, but it vanished on it's own. But he really needed to get a lock down on his thoughts. His mindscape was a bit too susceptible for his taste. That would be a problem for later, in any case. His power had a cage on his awareness, he needed to reinforce that. Maybe some meditation would help.

"So Malus is the focal point now," the man said staring at the TV. The image of the dark eyed young man always gave him a feeling of dread and now a worse idea had come to mind. He hoped his fears were groundless but he would only learn when he asked the person who could, probably, answer him. Turning his attention back to Vlad he asked, "Could Malus gain control of the Temples and, if he can, what would happen?"

As the three carried on their conversation, back in the real world, Jared had asked for FBI Agents to be let out there at a red light. The Captain turned around, surveyed the area for a bit, and then gave a nod only to have the light turn green on him. Apologizing he began driving around to get into a parking building so he could let the first of the children go . . .

"Thanks, now don't take this the wrong way but hopefully we won't meet again." Jared shut the door and watched the SUV drive away with the other kids. When it was out of site he walked out of the parking structure, turning the opposite way that the SUV drove Jared walked for a few minutes. On his right he seen a diner and walked into it. He took a seat next to the window.
An waitress walked up to his table and set a menu down in front of him "Hey kiddo what can I get you to drink?" the waitress asked.
"Pepsi please." Jared had a bad habit of drinking soda when he was thinking. This time he was thinking of what the kid's powers were that got away. Thinking to himself "What would happen if I shot a fireball at one of those things then? would it go straight through it or would it just 'seem' like it hits?"
The waitress walked back to the table and set his drink down. "So know what you want to eat?"
"How bout some Chicken Strips."
"BBQ sauce or Ranch?"
"BBQ sauce please." Jared handed back the menu and the waitress walked away.

Vlad busted out laughing towards the question, after a moment, she said "No, if he could, he would have gotten to Aluria's temple already... If I remember correctly, Malus has a mass of negativity in him. If I guess correctly, That particular temple is 3000 feet beneath his feet. Besides, they would not allow him to live if he did break in, They do not like intruders, with the exception of priestesses". She was about to speak further when a large amount of darkness materialized nearby, Keith, Vlad, and the newcomer could feel chills, she recognized it and said "Alrus? What do you need?" Alrus materialized from the darkness and said "I have come to tell you the SUV's stopped-" "I'm not getting off here, I'd rather have my chat..."

"Fine, have your talk," Keith muttered, miffed that they were ignoring him so thoroughly. He wasn't even sure what they were taking about anymore. And after they decided to meet in his mindscape. You would think they would have a little more respect for the landlord. But no, the psychics were talking, so Mr Creation should just sit and watch. The air around his mental self image got turbulent and distorted. He banished the effect with a thought and instead focused on self improvement. Floating images, like holographic screens, readouts and panels from a science fiction work appeared around him, both in the mindscape and reality, as he tried to work out a way to block his mind from intrusions.

"Oh my apologies I didn't mean to ignore you," the man said turning and giving a light bow to Keith, having forgot his manners. A sudden jolt caused the trio to suddenly waken from the mindscape and find themselves being thrown from the vehicle as it slammed into another one. The vans in front of them had been blown up, caught on fire, and the people inside dragged out by the hair before mercilessly being beaten to death. By? By citizens that have gone stark raving mad. All around the FBI Agents who were still alive, and not trying to defend themselves, could see that everyone was running around like a complete and total lunatic; up on the big screen, right in the middle of the street, an image of Malus was displayed with his eyes glowing ominously.

"Shiiiiiii-" Keith swore as the shock ripped him from the mindscape and his projections vanished; the sudden braking almost hurling him from his seat, and would have too if it wasn't for the strap of the seat belt that dug into his neck and chest. His projections He gasped air as the pressure eased, hurriedly patting himself and checking for blood. He once he verified that he was in one piece and not bleeding anywhere, he looked around, and swore again. A genuine riot, orchestrated by big bad Malus himself. He just had all the luck. He ran his hand down his forearm, forcing out the tangle of strands he had made earlier, the ones storing the memory of the FBI's database. On a spur of inspiration, he wove a cage around it with new strands and willed it into a crystalline state. Ha! And they said crystal computers were only from stargate.

Making a bracelet to bind it to his arm, he got that hurdle out of the way. He didn't want to lose that information, but it would have been difficult to work around it. As for Malus... he hadn't turned the kino control back on since the FBI took them in for questioning, so he had no idea where the guy was, or how he was doing that. And he didn't have the time to find out either. And he didn't know if his anti mind control plan (which he hadn't even thought through yet) would work. Not that he had the time for beta testing. Drawing from static shock, he crafted a headband; one that would created an electric field. Hopefully enough to weaken Malus' influence.

"Time to get moving people!" he ordered as he struggled to undo his seat belt while making sure the headband didn't scramble his brains or electrocute him. Another vehicle was set on fire outside. "I little birdie told me that this car may not be safe for further habitation."

Most of the people quickly got out of the vehicle, those who couldn't or took too long were caught in the sudden explosion. Contained within a sphere of invisible energy the man from before, who had invaded Keith's mindspace, had fallen to his knees and begun breathing heavily. Most of the people who were under Malus' control turned and looked with a blank stare at the FBI Agents and innocent children. A woman beside Vlad shook in terror and screamed, hurling whatever she could get a hold of at her. The screams continued through everyone else under Malus' control as they panicked and attempted to attack them.

"Don't shoot!" the Captain yelled managing to shove off one of the men who had grabbed hold of his back and pointed to the TV screen, "It's the image! We destroy it and they'll . . ."
Toppling over form the mass of human bodies the Captain was slowly being overwhelmed just like the other FBI Agents were.

Vlad Growled deeply seeing the TV Screen in the middle of the street after being thrown out of Keith's Mind, Her eyes started to change, She said "Aluria said that I cannot use the pact to drive away the temple, but it doesn't mean i can't-" As she said this, She saw the Distinct Glyph Circle in the area, She sighed as she recognized the Glyph to be Aluria's Temple and said "Looks like I have to do this the really boring way..." She summoned her staff and said to the FBI agents "The Temple is in the Area, It seems to be responding to this as if it was a crime that Spawns Negativity... Cover Me!" She looked at some of the populace as she closed her eyes...

In the Astral World She could feel a very heavy air, Thick Negativity filled the air, She shot into a person, but she had a hard time trying to imprint, Not only the Heavy Negativity was interfering with her powers a little, but breaking Mind Control with imprinting wasn't THAT easy. After a minute, She broke the Mind Control and imprinted a little Surprise, She shot out and shot back into her body... A Few Seconds later after she got back into her body, The person she broke the Mind control on started Smacking the other Rioters with a shaft of a mop, Knocking some people out...

"C-Can you do that for everyone?" Corey, the man who had the psychic powers, asked once he saw Vlad break the mind control of one of the rioters and imprint a command in their brains; though he didn't know the later and suspected they were acting of their own free will. Despite having broken out of the mind control the singular person was soon consumed by the mob and only saved by one of the FBI Agents and ushered into a safe place, an empty parking garage that the rioters had yet to get too.

Crashing and attempting to attack the FBI Agents, who were now armed with full body shields, it was nearly impossible to push through them or safely shoot the TV screen and make the image cease putting it's influence out over the populace.

Vlad then said "It will be hard for me to, I could do that in seconds normally, but it took out some of my energy for that one... I have an Idea..." She went upstairs and tried to look at the TV, Which an indirect glance Revealed Negativity Glyphs around and on the TV with the Malus Image. She knew it, Negativity Glyphs on the TV to counter the Imprinting, She giggled as she went back downstairs and asked the Captain "Do you have something I can Shoot with? I suppose if I can't get a good angle to shoot, I may as well make one..."

Fighting the rioters would be dicey, to say the least. Keith took a breath, and carefully erected his cage. It was a refined version of his first one. instead of a massive area of awareness, he limited it to four feet of awareness in every direction and psycho-geometric sight. His vision took on that curious tint, and he could see the forces, constitutions, elements and nature of everything he looked at, and feel the same within his sphere. The circuit like pattern traced itself very faintly over his body, his eyes took on pale luminescence, and strands flowed from his body and looped around his arms, forming hoops that held themselves suspended away from his flesh, three on each arm two on each leg. The Great Creator's combat form. Eat your heart out.

So far, the band seemed to be working somewhat. He could feel madness encroaching on him, but it was held at bay, for now at least. But how to calm the crazy? As one ran to him, he held out a fist. Chloroform and wind, that was what he needed. The middle hoop shivered, pumping out the simple methyl trichloride compound (thankfully, he payed attention in chemistry class) mixed with a smokey dye, so he could see it. The rear hoop expelled heat, the forward cold, the temperature difference making a pressure difference, which in turn formed wind. Not even as much a fan on high, be enough to waft it towards the attack.

A second after the smokey cloud hit him, he was down like a sack of brick. Subjugation method C-3 worked perfectly. Good to know his theories were proving right. He made two simple bombs filled with liquid chloroform under pressure, and chucked them in the general direction of the crowd. More people fell into sleep when they went off in clouds of smokey grey. "Avoid breathing in the smoke," he called out as strands unwound from the hoops around his feet, forming more bombs on the ground. "As for how long they last, testing never made it that far..."

Lukas stepped out of the middle of the group. He had been acting like one of the other mind controled, trying to find what he may be able to call his friends. Now that he found them. He turned to the screen, and since he couldn't see it, he could look directly at it. He burrowed under ground, popped back out of the ground. He was nine feet up, so he had a clear angle. He fired some gaunlets, which gripped the sides of the television. He went back onto the ground, then made the gaunlets rip the television off of the hinges. He then crumpled it up, and pt it in the ground, in case it blew up or something. He turned to the other people. "Alright, what do we need to do?"

"C-Can you do that for everyone?" Corey, the man who had the psychic powers, asked once he saw Vlad break the mind control of one of the rioters and imprint a command in their brains; though he didn't know the later and suspected they were acting of their own free will.

“It will be hard for me to, I could do that in seconds normally, but it took out some of my energy for that one . . . I have an idea,” Glancing up up Vlad could see the TV with Malus’ image. Giggling she looked at the Captain, who had managed to equip any of his still standing Agents with full body shield, asked him, “Do you have something I can shoot with? I suppose if I can’t get a good angle to shoot, I may as well make one . . .”

“What?! You can’t shoot in a crowd!” the Captain protested before another surge from the mind controlled massed pushed them back once more. It was nearly impossible to push through them or get to an area where they could safely shoot the TV screen out.

An explosion caught everyone off guard, as well as the sight of rioters dropping like rocks, and Keith stood holding his hand over his mouth, “Avoid breathing in the smoke!”

Pulling out gas masks each Agents placed them on and handed spares to the others as the crowd quickly thinned. “What was that?” Corey asked through telepathy while he watched Keith unwound strands from hoops adorning his feet to form more bombs, “Explain later . . . As for how long they last, testing never made it that far.”

Corey let out a small chuckle as he prevented one of the crazed citizens from biting him on the arm and shoved him back. With the crowd thin enough Lukas stepped out from the group and burrowed under the asphalt, tunneling until he was certain he could have a clear shot at the TV, and leaped out close to the building which hosted the TV screen; as he did he pulled out a pistol he had swiped from one dead Agents. Firing at the screen it sent sparks flying to the ground before the screen was ripped of it’s hinges. Falling it smashed into hundreds of shards on the ground and landed on top of the now useless heap of metal, looking to the others, “Alright, what do we do?”

“Well for one we attend to the wounded,” the Captain said putting his shield down and stooping over to an Agent choking on his own blood, the attacker passed out beside him with his mouth still clenched around the chunk of throat he had ripped out. Once the television screen’s image had been shorted out all of those who had been affected by it’s influence passed out, falling on the ground or slumping over in a very heavy daze; though each and every single person didn’t remember anything that had occurred.

“This . . . This is what happens if Malus is around people,” Corey said closing the eyes of a little girl who had been trampled underfoot, his breath shaky and his face a tint of green, “Weather he wanted this or not, you can be certain he didn’t feel an ounce of remorse . . .”

Vlad was disappointed, she had not been any help when it came to the clearing of the negative energy, but she saw that the ring of glyphs was still there. She looked at the TV, although it was disabled, she could see the Negativity Glyphs on the TV. Twirling her staff, Vlad suddenly swung upward, releasing a spinning blade of yellow energy, striking the side of the TV, causing a large set of glyphs to show up on the TV, causing them to promptly explode into a fizzle...

"Thanks Lukas," Keith ground out. The oppressive pressure vanished. And not soon enough. His gamble for protection only seemed to delay the effect of Malus' power, and he didn't want to think about how close he was to losing himself to it. He absently banished the left over grenades with a wave, as he thought about it. His hoops pulsed, then sunk below his skin with a distinctively crawny feeling. He shuddered a bit, bit let it happen, since it was his power, he must have some reason for doing it.

He weaved his way over to the agent, and almost lost the contents of his stomach. With a hasty wave, his strands shot out and wove a white sheet that covered the body. Remorse. Maybe that was what separated the good guys with abilities from the bad. Still choking a little, he put his hands on the ground reached out, tentatively, scanning the make up of the bandage he still had around one hand, and made a pile for the treatment effort, as well as a few bottle of alcohol. "Here," he said, trying not to think about the girl. "I suppose you know how to do field medicine, so a bit of supplies would be good. I'm going for a more scifi fix."

Drawing from stargate again, he made a hand device. They used it in the show to heal people a couple times, so he supposed it could work for him.
