Once per turn, you can detach 1 Exceed Material Monster from this card to negate the activation of an opponent's monster effect and banish that monster.

Ya, but I know a good solution to how this could be fixed. Blackwings are about swarming the field, right? Maybe the monster-effect negation should be changed to negating a card that would negate the Special Summon of a "Blackwing" monster.

^^This^^ is how Xyz (yes, Xyz) should be used; no stupid effects that run out, only safetly measures that run alongside other effects. Utopia should have been given another effect.

BW's need to keep up with chaos so yes, they need to b broken more.

It doesn't mean their Xyz Summons need to be +1s. If you either let it add to your hand [b][i]or[/i][/b] Special Summon from the Graveyard, you might be on to something. Except of ourse, your effect should be along the lines of negating a monster effect that targets one Blackwing monster.

BW's are supposed to swarm like this, they haven't been able to since Whirlwind's limiting, so I fully support this card.
