ATK / 1500 DEF / 1500' Shadowsoul Hydra DARK Level 8 [ Dragon / Fusion / Effect ] 1 "Dark Heart" monster + 1 or more WATER or EARTH monster This Monster's Attributes are all Attributes of the Fusion Material Monsters used in this Monsters Fusion Summoning. For every Fusion Material Monster used in this card's Fusion Summoning, place 1 Shadowsoul counters on this card. Every time this card would be destroyed, you can remove a Shadowsoul counter from this card instead. ATK / 2500 DEF / 2300 Shadowsoul Chimera DARK Level 8 [ Dragon / Fusion / Effect ] 1 "Dark Heart" monster + 1 or More WIND or FIRE monsters. This Monster's Attributes are all the Attributes of the Fusion Material Monsters used in this card's Fusion Summon. This Monster may Attack for every Fusion Material Monster used in its Fusion Summon. ATK / 2900 DEF / 2500 Chaos Polymer Spell / Quickplay Select 2 removed from play "Dark Heart" Monsters. Return them to the Graveyard and Special Summon 1 "Shadowsoul" Monster from your Extra Deck. (Regardless of the Summoning Conditions) It's Effects are Negated. Shadowsoul Polymerization Spell Send Fusion Material Monsters that are listed on a "Shadouwsoul" Fusion Monster Card from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard and Special Summon that "Shadowsoul" Monster from the Extra Deck. (This is treated as a Fusion Summon.) If this card is in your Graveyard and you control no Monsters except for a "Dark Heart" Monster, you can banish 1 "Dark Heart" Monster in your Graveyard to add this card to your hand. Soul Snatch Spell / Quickplay Select 1 "Shadowsoul" Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck. Discard 1 "Dark Heart" Monster from your hand to the Graveyard. Select 1 Monster on your Opponent's side of the field that can be used at Fusion Material for the selected "Shadowsoul" Monster and destroy it. Special Summon the Selected "Shadowsoul" Monster. (This is considered a Fusion Summon) Shadow Overlap Trap When a "Dark Heart" Monster would be destroyed by a card effect, you can banish that Dark Heart Monster and another Monster in your Graveyard that is listed as Fusion Material on a "Shadowsoul" Fusion Monster and Special Summon that "Shadowsoul" Monster from your Extra Deck. Whatever. Ilman is just barely usable in E-Hero's because of Stratos, but others are unusable outside their Deck, which only has Polymerization, Dragon Mirror, and Future Fusion as methods of fusion. NumberCruncher Posted September 11, 2011 Report Share Posted September 11, 2011 The only really impressive card is Soul Snatch, which is decent, and only because it's a Quickplay. But seeing as most decks right now stick with DARK, EARTH and LIGHT monsters, the card will see little influence. The only one who this card really helps is Maa, and he's the least overwhelming of the bunch. And what was the point of giving them Gem Knight Fusion, except not as powerful as Gem-Kinght Fusion? This set isn't complete yet.[/quote] But you created an archetype that used all mosters of the same Attribute but different types, they focus on spamming Fusion monster, and have a Fusion spell that returns itself to your hand by banishing cards from the Archetype. How are these not Gem-Knights? Oh, that's right. Fusion spells with less umph than Gem-Knight Fusion Spells and a Fusion system based on having Attributes none of them have. Link to comment

Any reason why they don't just say 'This card is also treated as [attribute]'? Also, Maa shouldn't be an optional effect or it misses the timing. Link to comment

I'm liking Chimera now that his archetype is usable. Chimeratech OTK with Dragon Mirror instead of Overload Fusion. Good cards, though some of the non-Fusion could use a little more ATK. Give one of them 1900 ATK (Preferably Maa) and you should be set. Link to comment
