Curse of the Boring - Re-released for Xyz Era!

Warning: This thread contains mild ranting about card games.
I'm going to build a new deck today, I wonder what I should make... let's see. Hmmmm... maybe a Karakuri deck. Yeah, I've never tried that before, I've heard they are fun to play then. Ok, lets build this Karakuri deck from scratch... here we go...

Stardust, Black Rose, Brionac, Catastor, formula, Dark Hole, Bottomless, Mirror Force, Monster Reborn...
This is the kind of unimaginative, repititive, bland, soulless approach to deckbuilding that I find so depressing about the modern game. I admit I'm naive and a fantasist to expect dueling to be like it is in the anime world, having back and forth duels with new and inventive cards exclusive and meaningful to each duelist, but I find staples just so dull to see them in every. single. deck. regardless of what they're actually primarily playing. This 'mindless-sheep-syndrome' as it were. I understand why it happens because obviously people want to win duels and tournaments but c'mon.

I originally created this card back in October, but now I've updated it to include the new ultra spammable Xyz, welcome to any suggestions of changes to it.

Yes it has OTK written all over it, and usually I despise OTKs as they're not fun for the duelists playing IMO. That's why I play, for fun. And what I despise more is duelists who lack any sense of individuality and go to the same staples in every deck they play, that everyone else plays, and I think if you get OTK'd by this then you deserve it for being a sheep. Ok rant over. Suggestions of changes to the cards it affects welcome.

LOL no one runs Mist Wurm anymore, not since Trishula completely replaced it when it came out.

You should switch it to Leviair just to piss off people who use that. That would make it even funnier.

Possibly, thought it was still popular for finishing minesweeper.

Would like to get another Xyz on, but not Levair. Probably Volcasaurus when it comes out, or Thunder End?

great, so all you have is one huge burn effect to both players

reminds me of Ring of Destruction, just without the monster killing effect, to a small extent
How monumentally stupid would you have to be to let yourself take big damage from this?

Shock Ruler and utopia, gaia also great beater
Shock Ruler is a good shout, depends which sees more play out of it and Disigma.

Do want to keep it limited to ten options though.

They're just staples. Every single TCG's decks are basically half staples, half stuff.

Anyway, it's not the players' fault, it's Konami's. And that's because they're a business. Until they make cards, not only 1 card, that is playable in that area of expertise, it won't change. Basically pros and cons, but they only insist on making 'pro cards', not the 'pro and cons cards'.

Trishula is the only thing that can do its job well. Same with all the other Synchros you listed. It's not 'being a sheep', it's being made to use the only card available for that particular job.

On the card itself, well, I've explained my opinion. I don't particularly like cards that hate on the general populace of cards, especially when most of them are actually fine.
