Guest Rupert Giles
I made my story of the Six Samurai. You will see a bunch of familiar cards in here. I used Microsoft Word, font size 11, two pages, but it still looks kinda small on here. Please tell me how many cards you see here. :3 [spoiler=Prologue: The Choosing] Nisashi was awoken by his friend Yaichi. “Nisashi, wake up you lazy lump! Grandmaster Kizan is choosing the next generation of Samurai today! You don’t want to be late do you?” Nisashi woke with a start. “The Grandmaster of the Six Samurai is coming TODAY?!?” Nisashi jumped out of bed and prepared. “Yes you idiot! Hurry, Zanji and Rahz are outside.” Nisashi hurriedly dressed and tidied himself up. Can’t believe I overslept!! I better hurry up! He gulped down his breakfast and met up with Zanji, Rahz, and Yaichi. “C’mon guys!” Zanji said. We all followed him to the town square. The mayor was at the center, preparing to speak to the crowd. Next to him was an old man with long white hair, and an eye patch that covered his right eye. The Grandmaster Kizan! “Who is that weirdo next to the mayor?” The voice came from a black-haired boy next to Nisashi. “Rahz! That’s the Grandmaster Kizan!” Nisashi hissed. Idiot! “Oops! I hope he didn’t hear that…..” “Duuuude, really?” said the figure next to him. “YAH! Yaichi, don’t DO that!” Nisashi exclaimed. Yaichi chuckled. “You’re too easy to scare Nisashi.” He smiled. “I've been standing here for awhile.” “Citizens of the Castle of Mist!” The mayor began to speak. “This is a very important day! As you all know, we only have 4 Samurai left! That changes today. Shinai, Mizuho, Kageki, and Enishi have all retired. Kizan has risen to the position of Grandmaster. Shi En has become our beloved Shogun, Shien. Today we choose our next generation of Samurai! The next Six!” Everyone cheered at the end. “Let all the children who wish to be chosen come up!” Nisashi, Rahz, Zanji, Yaichi, and seven other children came up. “Let the first two come up.” Grandmaster Kizan spoke with a quiet voice, though full of authority. Zanji, and another kid went up. “Tell me your names.” said Kizan. “Zanji, Grandmaster Kizan.” Zanji spoke loudly and confidently. “My name is Gearfried.” the other kid spoke quieter than Zanji, but no less confidently. “Gearfried…..your way lies not with us. You have a greater destiny…..as the Iron Knight. And maybe a Swordmaster.” Grandmaster Kizan spoke gravely, knowing his words would affect the boy’s life. “Zanji….I see honor in your heart, and a desire to vanquish the threats to this place…we will welcome you as a Samurai.” “Wooooooo! Go Zanji!” Nisashi yelled, along with Yaichi and Rahz. Three more children were chosen, Kamon and Yariza, a pair of friends, and a lone child named Irou. He was blindfolded, and wore a purple robe. Yaichi went up with some blonde kid everyone knew as “The Marauder”. Yaichi was chosen, and we all cheered for him. The only children left were Nisashi and Rahz. They both knew that one would be a Samurai, and one would be enlisted in the basic schooling for an Infantry unit. “The last two. Bring them up.” Kizan spoke once more. Rahz and Nisashi both went up, trembling. “What are your names?” Kizan asked. “My name is Rahz, sir.” “Nisashi, Grandmaster.” “Rahz and Nisashi………..Rahz. You will be a great tactician, but not a Samurai. I am deeply sorry.” Rahz hung his head, and sadly walked away. Nisashi, although sad for his friend, knew this would mean only one thing. “Nisashi, you will have a great future as a member of the Six Samurai. We welcome you.” Everyone was cheering as the six chosen kids lined up. Nisashi saw happy faces everywhere, except for one. Rahz was glaring at him from the very back. His eyes burned with envy and jealousy. He threw one last look at the Six, then turned and left.
