"Hey.... "Umm, don't worry man," Haku said catching the conversation from Tyson's friends. He rubbed the back of his head. "I couldn't write before a couple of weeks before the entry exam three years ago. Haku though a little while Tyson contemplated his counter attack. "How about me and your friends," he started, "Help you learn?" He hopped he hadn't offended Clark by any means. But truth be told he had already read all the freshman's profile and found out about Clark sometime ago. He wanted to help him and see if he could make a friend.

"Why would I laugh," Jenis replied, once the boy dueling had cut in, "a lack of education doesn't seem all that funny. Anyway, I'm good at keeping secrets." [i]Very Good.[/i] "I wouldn't tell anyone, because that wouldn't be fair Not that it seems like something that's actually been hidden all that well," she noted. Compared to her own secrets, illiteracy seemed rather insignificant to her, but apparently mattered to Clark. "Besides, we can help you learn, and I'm sure the academy must have some arrangement, if only for foreign students." She paused, reflecting for a moment. "Your card," she spoke again suddenly, "you banish a dragon you control to summon it, and then you can summon any dragon from your hand or graveyard once a turn."

Alyssa looked at clark with smile and said, " it's like they said its perfectly fine. Isn't that right Tye Tye." Tyson was annoyed by being called his pet name. Tyson gave clark a thumbs up as he drew a card. " my turn now first i like to thank you for destroying my old feild its not like it served a purpouse.now I actvate my feild spell Sanctuary in the Sky." A new tempale appered behind him." now i summen my agent of mystery-Earth." a creaure appered in front of him. now i actvate agent of mystery abilety. when this card is normal summoned while sancuary in the sky is out on the feild it allows me to add master hyperion to my hand.

"No counter here," he said. He knew what was going to happen next. He expected his opponent to do something that would put Haku pretty far in the league. He had a slight clue of this type of deck and hoped he still knew what he learned from his Uncle. Haku looked back at Clark, "Hey man stick around to watch me wipe the floor with Tyson." He wasn't very social but he was more than confident in his own duel abilities.

Tyson smiled and said, "Now by removing my agent of mystery from play i can special summon master hyperion(atk:2900/def:2100) from my hand." the creature he had just summond now transformed in to a larger more feirce looking monster. Alyssa looked at jenny and said, " do you see whats he doing?" tyson said, " now handless took a momment to think. he then looked across to his opponent and smiled. " Remeaber the creature you destroyed by removing it from play I can use master hyperion to destroy your Vylon Disigma." Tyson's creature moved his hand towards the creature to destroy it.

"Did you forget about my face down?" Haku chided. "I activate The Bottomless Trap Hole!" He yelled. "When a monster with 1500 or more attack is summoned it is removed from play by this card's effect," he explained "With this card's effect you wont be able to chain your monster's ability and thanks to that you'll be outta monsters when my turn comes around. "And with no cards in your hand or field except Sanctuary of the Sky you better hope I don't draw a monster with 1500 or more attack because then this duel is mine!" His eyes were wild with excitement knowing his opponent would play that monster as soon as he added it to his hand. [i]Lucky I always carry two Bottomless Trap Holes or I'd be done for! [/i]he thought.

tyson laughed as his creature faded away." Nice move," Tyson looked at Alyssa and said, " i'm sorry that i fell for that simple of a trap." Tyson smiled and looked back at his opponent and says, " I know when i'm defeated." tyson was about to put his hand on his deck. Alyssa then yelled out, " you give up i'll Call you tye tye all year." Tyson crenged with annoyance at That name.Tyson looked back at his opponent and said, " well then i guess we'll continue." tyson was actually in more of a jam than he thought. tyson then ended his turn. Tyson then thought of possible ways to win.

"It seems this entire duel will come down to this draw," smiled Haku. He loved situations like this; he wanted to finish this kid off because he was one counter attack away from being on the wrong side of this dire situation. He placed his hand on his deck and picked up the top card, he looked at it and yelled "DAMMIT!! "No go, looks like you survived this round big guy. "But I will be taking out some of your Points this round. "Attack Disigma with Eradication Blitz Beam!" His monster's eyes began to go brightly and locked on to Tyson. Within seconds the lasers erupted out of the machina and took a large chunk of Tyson's Life Points away. "I'll be placing this card face down and finishing my turn," he said putting a card into a Spell/Trap Card Slot.

Tyson LP > 4000-2500 = 1500

Tyson was startled by the massive amount of damage he took in that he had just took. Tyson smiled at the his luck. Tyson then looked at his deck hopeing that his deck would give him the card he needs. Tyson looked at alyssa with a smile. Alyssa started to leave when tyson yelled, " Your right Alyssa if I give up then where would I be." Tyson the drew a card and set it in defence mode without looking at it. Tyson looked at his opponet and said, " this is not over just yet." tyson was now more upbeat than at the begening of the duel. Tyson looked at his opponent determine to win.

"Pfft, Tye Tye." Clark couldn't hold it in any longer and started laughing "TYE TYE HAHAHA, Lets Go Tye Tye put a knot in his plans. haha." starting to calm down Clark said "I'm sorry but who came up with that nickname for you? you're little sister?" He started to laugh again, falling onto the ground. "Oww my stomach, I can't stop laughing. haha." GGGRrUmBle "Hehe, I guess I'm hungry again." Clark gathered his cards and put them back into there pouch were they belonged, when he went to turn around someone hit him. "Owww what was that for?" he said already knowing the answer.

Chester walked slowly, kicking a rock occasionally with his foot. His eyes were closed as a small hum echoed behind his lips. He had given up on watching the entry duels, being a second year student and all, he didn't see a point in taking part of watching them after all. He opened his eyes, only to realize he was now looking up at the sky. "What in the world?" He said sitting up and rubbing his head. "The bloody heck did I run into?" He looked around, near by was a duel going on, and next to him was....a tree. "A tree? Oh you gotta be kidding me."

Jenis couldn't help but chuckle at Clark bursting into laughter. It was rather ridiculous nickname, after all. Looking at the duel, she gave 'Tye tye' no more than a turn or two. If he hadn't committed most of his cards without protection, he would be much better off than he was now, but he had been forced into topdecking on turn 2, and his opponent's monster had yet to use it's effect.

A thud behind her drew her attention, and revealed that another boy had apparently walked into the tree. "Hey, are you OK?" she asked him, offering him a hand to pull himself at least into a sitting position as she was. She continued to look at the boy, thinking about something.

Chester rubbed his head more and nodded, a small scowl on his usually chipper face. "Yeah...I think." He looked up, taking her hand and soon was sitting upright. "Oh man my head is killing me." His violet eyes actually focused on the girl who had helped him up, taking in her features. "Either its the bump on the head, or some form of Deja Vu......" He trailed off. "Nope nope never mind, forget I said anything. It's probably just the impact on the tree speaking." He chuckled a bit. "By the way. Name's Chester, who might you be?" He asked, still holding the girls hand.

"You do know that was your last turn right?" his opponent seemed to be confused. "Right now it doesn't matter what card I draw," Haku smiled as he picked up a card from his deck and entered his main phase. He laughed a little and clicked on the card he placed face-down last turn. "I activate Raigeki Break," he proclaimed, "And by the stunned look on your face you must now what it does. "Well just in case you don't, I'll tell you anyways. "By discarding one card I can destroy any other on the field; even if it's face down." He pointed at the card on Tyson's disk. "Now I'll discard the card I just drew and destroy your face down monster," he announced; the brown horizontally placed card was struck with lighting and shattered. "And with that out of the Vylon Disigma will finish this with his Eradication Blitz Beam!" he yelled and Disigma's charge up of power followed by a breakout of deadly red lasers aimed at Tyson, replayed and ended the duel with Haku as the winner.

"My name's Jenny," the girl replied, shaking the hand a little before releasing her grip. "I don't know if you know any of these people, so I'll do the whole 'list all the names of everyone' thing. This is Alysssa, and Clark," she continued, motioning to the others sat under the tree, "and those two over there dueling - who have just dueled," she corrected herself, noting that the opening move of setting most of his hand without protection hadn't paid off and Tyson had just lost, "are Tyson and..." she paused for a second to recall the other boy's name, since he'd only mentioned it once and they hadn't spoken directly "...Haku."

"So, what dorm are you in?" she asked.

Chester looked over the people before returning his attention to Jenny. "Oh um...." He looked at the coat around his torso. "Slipher Red." He chuckled. "I think I'm just a bit too scatter brained to advance to Ra Yellow. Well that and I'm actually very content to be in said dorm." He smiled before springing to his feet, dusting himself off and tried to fix his hair to hide the small patch of white now on his forehead from where he had collided with the tree. "And I missed another duel? Oh shoot. I do so love to watch everyone duel and see just what they can do. Can't get in here unless you have some skills right?"

"Well I guess not," Jenis replied, getting to her feet as well but somewhat more sedately, "but it wasn't too interesting as far as duels go. One of them made a major mistake at the start and never recovered from it." It didn't escape her notice that he almost seemed to be trying to cover something up with his hair, but she didn't want to press the matter, especially with others around. "I hope it's nothing against the Ra dorm," she added with a smile, "since that's the dorm I'm in."

Silver looked through another file. [i]Interesting,[/i] he noted, [i]but not nearly hot-tempered enough for wrath, and shows no pattern of knowing the other parties to suggest lust or envy. [/i]He dropped the file on a pile and took another from a larger one. [i]Now this is more like it.[/i]

"What? Something against Ra? No no never. Just don't see myself sporting a yellow coat. I rather like my red one, kinda regal and it fits....." He clasped his hands over his mouth quickly. "Oh nevermind what I was saying. I tend to ramble, like this one time..." AGain he threw his hands over his mouth, talking in mumbles before taking his hands down. "See, ramble." He chuckled a bit and scratched the back of his head, blinking a bit as if he was confused about something. "Jenny...I think I remember seeing you in the arena before I left. Lightsworn user right?" He cocked his head a bit as he talked, a small smile crossing his face.

Tyson turned to Alyssa and handed her back her duel disk. He then turned back to his opponent and said, " Good duel man, we're going to have to do it agian some time." He then looked at the dude who had walked over and asked, " How long have you been here?" Alyssa opened her book her book on advance dueling stratagies and tryed to pass the time as she waited. She then put the book back in her pack, and started to head back to her dorm when Tyson stoped her from leaveing. he said, "Don't Leave before you duel someone." She responded by shaking her head no, but she alreadey known that he was going to do everything in his power to get her to duel that day. He then gave up on getting here to duel and started to unwrap his food so he could eat. Alyssa pulled some cookies out her pack and offered some to all around.

"Oh, you were there?" she questioned. "Yes, that was me," she replied, before Tyson came over from his duel, substituting an introduction with a question as to how long the new arrival had been around. "Manners," she reminded the boy; "this one's Tyson," she then added, clarifying her earlier introductions now that the two boys dueling were separated.

Turning for a moment, she shook her head, turning down the offer of food from Alyssa. "No thanks," she told the other girl, "I'm trying to cut down, and I'm not really hungry anyway." She looked back to the new arrival, trying to work out what it was that just wouldn't come to the front of her mind.

"Hmph," Haku didn't expect to win so easily but he guessed he had just gotten that much better of the semester break. [i]I didn't even get to us Disigma's ability, [/i]he thought disappointingly. But Haku was raised to be polite so he said to Tyson, "Yeah great duel. "He looked at the boy who had just walked over to the group griping about missing the duel. "Nice to meet you Chester," he smiled kindly. It looks like his social skills have gotten better just by the number of people he met today, "I'm Haku. "If you're so disappointed about missing the duel why don't you ask on of us to duel you? He walked back to the group and asked Alyssa for one of her cookies because he still hadn't eaten. "Your cookies," he spoke with a full mouth, "Are amazing Alyssa."

numnumnum "Yesh, delichous cookies." Clark said with a full mouth, he then swallowed the cookie and turned to the new person. "As Jenny said I'm Clark. uhh what else... oh yeah I'm Obelisk Blue, freshman. I think that's everything." Tyson walked over. "Hey Tye Tye, quick word of advice: don't play your entire hand on the first turn." Clark laid down on the grass looking up at the tree. "You know just sitting here not having to worry about anything. It's nice, to bad it can't be like this more often." Clark closed his eye's and listened to the rest of the world, bird's chirping, people talking, laughing having fun. "So what to do now?"

Chester blinked a bit as he looked over everyone around him. "Tyson, Clark, so many new faces. Oh this will definitely be a very interesting year." His stomach growled a bit as he chuckled. "Oh, guess I'm hungry." He spoke as he took a hand from his pocket, accidently knocking his deck from said pocket. "Oh no!" He exclaimed as he dropped to his knees, scooping the cards into his hands. "Oh I'm sorry guys." He said as he sorted the cards back into a neat pile. "Clumsy clumsy clumsy Chester." He shook his head slowly.

Tyson heard Clark call him tye tye. he then said, " dude don't call me that plese, and as for your advice thanks i wasn't thinking out there." Alyssa got up and started heading away from the lunch hall. she then was thinking about some thing troubling. Tyson went over to talk to her. "where do you think your going?" she replied " i'm going back to my room." tyson then said, " well then you should at least wait for all of use." She looked at him and shook her head sure. tyson walked back to the group and asked did they want to come with use. he stood there waiting for a reply.

William ran down to the Duel Academy entrance gates. He was very late to his entrance exam, which probably would affect his grade. It wasn't his fault though, he forgot it was daylight savings time. He's sure that could be a valid explanation to his tardiness. While running, he put on his Academy-classed Duel Disk as he ran to the testing area. He saw a couple of people still testing. Some looked like good duelist, others looked like it was thier first day of dueling. Panting, William got to the proctor table. "I'm...here..to take the test." he gasped as he look towards the proctors.
