Duel Academy: The Spirit Chronicles |Year 1| (IC/Accepting)

"Welcome to Duel Academy, my name is Imperia Kotei." the woman introduced herself to the Slifer freshman. Before she could answer his second question, the Slifer Red Dorm Adviser approached the both of them. Then she listened to Raito's rambling instead of responding to the teacher first. "We can both take you to the Slifer Cafeteria. I'm a Slifer Red student, and this man is our Dorm Adviser: Plague Dire." Imperia explained and introduced the teacher to the student. She figured that she could converse with the teacher about how they've been later, after Raito gets something to eat.

[Piercer of the Heavens]

"Well Imperia just told you my name, it is Plague Dire. You can call me Plague. I hate when my students call Professor, Mr., bla, bla,bla." Plague said to Raito. He then got Raito's head and lifted it up. "There's no need to bow, I hate all those manners. Just treat me as a friend that's alot older than you. As for the dorms, well there in that general direction." he said spreading arms wide to the side of him. "Well I'm hungry myself, if you want you come with us to the cafeteria." He then started walking toward the cafeteria slowly with his hands behind his head. "Well, are you coming."

[Hunderas]

Clark started his duel with the Proctor in another area of the building everywhere around him he seen people dueling.
"You know what I'll be nice and let you go first."
"Are you sure that's what you want?" the Proctor shook his head yes. "Then fine here I come." Clark drew his first card.

The Proctor drew his card "Now I summon UFO Turtle in attack mode."

the Turtle ran forward and destroyed the face-down monster, Masked Dragon

The Dragon charged the face-down card revealing it was Ryu-Ran.

The proctor drew his card "Now's my turn to deal damage to you. First I'll activate Ookazi from my hand to deal 800 points of damage to you."[/center][/center]

"Not so fast there I activate Threatening Roar, that says that you can't conduct your battle phase this turn."
"Fine then I'll set one monster in defense mode then end my turn."[/center][/center]

"You seemed worried there Proctor afraid your going to lose to a kid. I activate Armed Dragon Lv 10's effect I send one card to my graveyard to destroy all face-up monsters on your side of the field, say goodbye once again to your Ryu-Ran. Now I set one monster face-down and a card. Armed Dragon Lv 10 attack his face-down monster." The Dragon charged the face-down revealing it to be Burning Beast

The crowd that was watching went up in a storm the Proctor walked over to Clark congratulating him on his victory.[/center][/center]

[Tokyo Duel]

Raito smiled upon Imperia and Plague's kindness. "Alright, I'll beat both of you there!" he shouted, running off towards the dorm. He was determined to win this race. After all, if he didn't win, he'd lose. And he was not a loser. Though the other two probably didn't care about the race, Raito did. He had to prove that he was going to be the best at everything here. Despite his irrational way of thinking, he was actually quite smart, as shown with his near-perfect score on the written exam, and was a great duelist, coming in within the top five ranking for the dueling exam. While lost in thought, Raito suddenly ran right into a tree, knocking him down....

Imperia began following Plague, only to see the energetic Raito run right past her. The woman only giggled at his hyperactive action. Just by watching him, she knew she was going to get along just fine with him. Of course, all of these calm thoughts were running through her head [i]before[/i] she saw Raito crash dead-on into a tree. Which made Imperia just burst into laughter. "A-Are you al-alright?" she asked, with a bit of a worried tone. But that was covered up by the fact that she was still giggling.

[Tokyo Duel]

Raito, dazed by the impact of the tree, struggled to stand up, but eventually did. "Owowowowowow!" he said, before he realized Imperia was next to him. "Uh...I meant to do that!" he said. Raito wasn't the kind of person to not care what others thought of him. He cared deeply. Right then and there, he looked like a moron. He was still a bit dazed, unsure of where he was for a bit. He must've hit that tree [b]hard[/b]. At first, he could've sworn he was seeing stars in the day time. "Meh, I'll be fine..." he said, holding his right hand on his forehead. Then he realized something. His cards! He forgot them at the beach! "Excuse me, I forgot something!" he said, running back to the beach. "Oh crap, oh crap!" he exclaimed, quickly grabbing his cards before a tide would pick them up. He was lucky; he was able to grab them all before something bad happened. He calmly walked back up to where he was, acting as if everything was normal.

[Immortal Chaos]

"Zzzzzzzzzzzzz Waffles....." Chester murmured in his sleep. He suddenly was jolted awake by the sounds of duels taking place. "Oh man..." He said, holding his head a bit. "Did...did I sleep through them all? Tell me I didn't." His eyes adjusted as he found a clock on a nearby wall. "Oh good, I didn't miss too much." He looked around as his eyes focused more. "Oh, well two duels at least, one just ending, one starting. I wonder where they will be placed this year." He said to himself as he propped his feet up on the chair in front of him, reclining a bit. "Now to just not....fall...." And with that he yawned, but shook his head. "No no, must stay awake."

[Clair]

Ayami ran through the halls, a veritable whirlwind of energy. [i]Curse this Duel Academy for being so huge![/i] she thought angrily, reminding herself to shrink it later. As she ran, her purple hair billowed out behind her, and her heels clicked on the linoleum. She had made it into the Academy, but now was hopelessly lost on her way to find a food source. Her stomach unleashed another almighty rumble, and Ayami clutched her stomach in discomfort, tears over dramatically streaming down her face. Falling to her knees, watching her Slifer Red uniform billow out around her, Ayami sighed theatrically.

"Uuuu... where are you, food?" she moaned, keeling over in the fetal position.

[Devack]

Tyson heard the end of a duel so he got up and ran in the direction of it. Tyson ran up to the end of clarks duel withe a smile. Tyson said " Nice win." Tyson was still waiting for his entrancre exam when he said " dude your deck is amazing." Tyson then pulled out his deck and said that "my deck is great," then he paused and sad, " you should cheack out my entrance exam." Tyson then put his deck in his dueldisk and procedded to his duel.

[Justice Master]

"Well, we could flip the coin," Dalst said, "but I'd like it if I could go first. I mean I am the noob." He looked at his opponent smiling, but he knew that his deck would be ready for a challenge like this. He activated his duel disk. It made some noise and lights, but that didn't matter. He and his deck were ready for aboslute power. It was going to be a great duel, but Dalst had to win, but there was no need for cheating. All that was needed was the deck. No more, no less.

[White Hollow]

"Suit yourself". Aen drew five cards and waited for Dalst to make his move. He had drawn 3 spells and 2 traps, no Monsters. "Humpf" Aen was a little disappointed, but the hell he would pull it off. Suddenly, he heard a voice in his head. 'Hey, Aen. Let me take over for this duel..." Aen replied postitively, but requested that he could interfere. Lust Aen emerged in a flash and shouted at Dalst "PLAY, lil' kid"

[Time Psyduck]

Just as the Duel was about to start, Jenis was called to her own duel. "Oh well," she shrugged, "at least I didn't get into it." She headed down to the newly-emptied field, where a proctor - an older male student - was waiting. "Good afternoon...Jenny? Well, good luck, and ladies first," he told her, waving her to make her move.

"OK then," she replied, drawing a sixth card, "It's my turn, and I draw." She glanced at her newest card. [i]I can't do anything with you...or maybe I can. [/i]"I activate the spell Solar Recharge. By discarding Wulf, Lightsworn Beast from my hand, I can draw 2 more cards, and then send the top 2 cards in my deck to the graveyard." She checked the cards as she sent them. [i]Those are fine, [/i]she noted to herself, before turning back to her hand. "I set a monster and one more card, and I'll end my turn there."

"OK then, my move," her opponent called. "I'm sorry miss, but you're luck's already out. My discarding a Machine-Type monster, such as my Machina Fortress, I can Special Summon another from my hand." A bulky machine, with hands and tracks, appeared on his field (ATK 2500). "Now, by discarding a level 8 Machine from my hand, such as Machina Cannon, I can summon the Fortress I just discarded." A second tank emerged onto his field (ATK 2500). "Now to dispose of what is almost certainly a Ryko. I activate the spell Nobleman of Crossout, which allows me to remove a face-down monster from play, and if it has a Flip Effect, any others in our deck are removed as well." A soldier appeared and sank a sword into Jenis' set monster, which was revealed to be...A bloated and rotting corpse.

"It wasn't Ryko?" the proctor questioned, "no matter, I'll just use this Mystical Space Typhoon and remove that defence of yours..." A cyclone whipped towards the last card on the spirit's field. As it hit, the card swung up, and a roar was heard over the winds, before Jenis placed the card in her grave. "Now my monsters, end this duel."

Only the monsters didn't move. "Huh?" the proctor wondered, "unless..."
"My face down," Jenis explained, "was Threatening Roar, meaning you can't attack this turn, and so I'm OK."

"I place a card face down and end my turn," the proctor finished.

[Hunderas]

As the crowd around Clark gave way to another dual, Clark walked up into the stands to watch the following match. It was a girl and an older male that was dueling her. Clark remembered that he needed to call his parents and tell them the good news. Clark left the building and picked up his cell phone. "Hey mom, yeah I won. No I don't know when I'm leaving. Al-alright jeez, oh he's here. Alright bye." Clark walked up to the store owner "Hey, Old Man I won." "So I heard, its on the screen, see." The store owner was pointing to the big screen that was hung up on the building. "So how was it?" Clark told the story to the store owner. "So you won in four turns, congratulations. When you have time come by the shop I want to give you something."
"Alright see you later." the two said there good-byes and Clark walked back into the Building.

[taffysboy]

The boy walked toward the main entrance at the school, him not really knowing what to do, considering he is not from this part of town. He opened the doors and looked around, unsure of where to go as he just saw a chair sitting in the corner. He decided to take a seat as a bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face from obvious nervousness. He had his deck already in his pocket. After a few moments of sitting by himself, he called out loudly, but it didnt come out as loud because his voice was shaky and crackly. "H-Hello? Is anybody here?" He yelled from the seat in the corner.

[Devack]

Tyson finshed his duel with his proctor. Tyson walked away from his proctor after the duel with a smile on his face. Tyson then was excited that he had won on his first try. Tyson then decied to step out side outside, when he got outside he saw a guy saying he was the greatest dueliest of all. Tyson walked up to him and said, " Thats good, but I think if you want to prove it then you'll duel me." Tyson activated his duel disk and looked at him. The random kid looked at him. He said, " If you some how beat me i'll give you this." as he activated his duel disk he pulled out blessed lake.

[Piercer of the Heavens]

"Forgetting something at the beach." Plague said to himself while he still kept walking. "I can tell that he's going to be a handful, but that makes this year even more exciting." He told Imperia. He continued to walk, but at a slower pace, conversing with Imperia while they waited for Raito to return. Within a few minutes Raito had returned. "So what you forget, your brain, your eyesight by the looks of it, and maybe a little of your dignity." Plague told Raito in a joking tone.

After a few more minutes of walking Plague noticed a girl on the floor in the fetal position. He walked up to her and said in a tone as if he was talking to a baby "Looks likes it's another early entry. What my your name be."

[Justice Master]

"Hey, old man!" Dalst shouted back, "I wouldn't try to insult the guy who's gonna beat ya!" He chuckled as he drew his six cards. He looked at them. It was a good combo just waiting to happen. I mean, two monsters, a trap, and three spells. What else could he ask for? He smirked before making his move, "I set one card and summon Justice Soldier Luna!" A fair powerfell swordswoman stood before him. "That's all for now! Your move!" He shouted at his opponent, thumb up. He knew that this duel was going to be a duel to die for.

[White Hollow]

"The game is on!" I activate my Gold Sarcophaugus! I can search my deck and remove 1 card from play. 2 of my turns from now, and it gets in my hand." Aen searched his deck and removed 'Memory Restorer'. He then activated a second spell, "I activate, Lightning Vortex!" He discarded his other Spell, Data Restore Cannon, and instructed Dalsts "Your soldier goes to Grave, then I plcae 2 cads face-down!" He silently ended his turn.

[Justice Master]

"Heh, you really know what you're doing," Dalst said sarcasticly before drawing his next card. "SWEET!" He yelled out before declaring his move. "I discard my Amateur Soldier Spell to Special Summon Justice Soldier Hackli! His effect allows me to bring back my Justice Soldier Luna to my hand when he's Special Summoned. So, I summon her once more! I set another card and end, my good friend." He was ready for this. He knew he was ready for this, no dobut. However his opponent seemed different now. Maybe it was just how Aen dueled. Yeah, that was it.

[White Hollow]

Aen laughed (evil laughter) looking at the sky. "Ohhh, your gonna love this next one!" He had not even drawn his card. He drew exactly what he was expecting. "Now, I activate my Trap Card!" When his Trap activated a dark veil emerged from the hologram and a gnom popped out. "Its is [spoiler=Choice of the Natives] Once per turn toss a coin and call Heads or Tails. Depending on the result of the coin toss activate one of the following effects:
-Heads, Draw 1 and shuffle 1 card from your hand to your Deck.
-Tails, your opponent cannot activate Toin Coss or Dice Roll effects next turn.[/spoiler] I activate its effect!" Aen tossed a coin and the result is Tails. "Good for me." He then Summoned the Monster from his hand "I summon, [spoiler=Memorial]This card cannot be used as a Xyz Material. This card cannot be targeted by your Spell or Trap Cards. When this card attacks or is attacked and would be destroyed by battle, it is not. This card loses 300 ATK and DEF each time this effect is activated.[/spoiler] in attack position! ATK=1900." He then declared attack gainst Luna. "Thanks to its effect my monster wont be destroyed, but yours is ad good as dead!"

[Justice Master]

"Meh," Dalst sighed as Luna burst into dust, only to be sent to the card graveyard. He started, "when you destroyed her, I activated Soldier's Sympathy! Although she's gone, this allows me to bring one of my Soldiers in my deck to my hand, and I choose Justice Soldier Messanger!" He picked out his card and shuffled his deck then putting it into the respective duel disk spot. He shouted at Aen "you can't take down this guy that easy, I mean I do have my great cards here to beat you." He laughed, this was so much fun. He could almost see the academy.

[White Hollow]

"Main Phase 2". Aen activated his other Trap Card "I activate, Jar of Greed!" A jar emerged and a card popped out of it. "It allows me to draw 1 card!" Aen drew yet another Trap. "I place a card face-down." Aen chuckled. "My monster has lost 300 ATK and DEF due to its eff." He then ended his turn. "Lust....let me go from here." The spirits switched places once more and Aen's turn ended. "Now it comes for real, Dalst."

[Justice Master]

Dalst smiled. It was like the whole area had been rid of something not welcome. "Agreed," he said drawing his card. A huge grin appeared on his face. This was great. "Okay, it's about time I kicked this up a notch! First, I discard my Messanger to gain the epic, the great, The Last Utopia!" He played it instantly. A grand, beuatiful city had rose around them. It was about time too. "Can you negate that, or can I finish this turn my good friend?" He was going to really bring it on this duel, he needed to.

[White Hollow]

Aen couldn't negate the effect. "Play on Dalst" Aen was ready to take anything he could block with his face-down, but what could Dalst summon or do? The lust spirit wanted to emerge. "Lets switch lets SWITCH NOW!" Aen was in pain but made sure nobody noticed. "NO. We justed switched. If you stay out for long, its gonna get ugly." The lust spirit was mad of rage "I NEED TO TASTE THE HUMAN WORLD AGAIN" Aen manged to calm down the ambush "If you win, you'll take the soul of a duelist, not on my watch." Aen was glad he was still himself... for now at least

[Devack]

Tyson said " You can go first, You say your the best i'll prove you wrong." The kid drew a card and and set it in face down defence postion
"I end my turn."Tyson " said "my turn. first i draw and I summon Zeradias , Heald of Heavan." a warrior appered in front of him."i also remove from play The Agent of Force- Mars to special summon Master Hyperion, and activate my feild spell The Sanctuary in the Sky." as a ferice creture arose in front of him a temple apper behind him. Tyson Said, " oh yea theres one more thing i activate Celestial Transformation to spesial summon Athena to the feild." now tyler had three monsters on the feild Athena (Atk:1300), Master Hyperion(Atk:2700), And Zeradias, Herald of Heavens(Atk:2100). Tyler smiled and said " Athena attack that face down cerature." The Lady jumped in to the air and stabbed the card and it turned out to be Oxygeddon. the creature was destroyed. " Now I'll end this, now attack Master Hyperion and Zeradias, Herald of Heaven Attack." in a flash the kidds life point reached zero. Tyson walked over and said " you owe me one card don't you." the kid passed over the blessed lake. Tyson walked back in to the building to see that the duel he was watching earlier had started he ran over so he could watch.
