Why? Xyz monsters, like all extra deck monsters, are semi-nomis by default I assume? It wouldn't have been summoned properly.

it doesn't make the card necessarily better. After all, the most you would use this card is if you need an instant wall, in where the last sentence wouldn't even matter.

This card is basically like Instant Fusion, except for the part where Instant Fusion can be used for quick Xyz or Synchro materials, and this can't.

Chaos number 39: utopia ray. I guess a deck around those would work with this. But I do remember you have to have under 1000 LP. Okay, this card is cool. I guess xyz with other effects that don't require materials could also work.

Sο... It's an instant Tribute/XYZ/Synchro.

For instant XYZ, normal summon 1 Level 4, then use this and get Utopia. To XYZ another permanent Utopia.

It can still be used as Tribute Fodder for Monarchs, though. Plus this card could work well with Acid Golem. Possibly

Monarchs wouldn't use it anyway since it would be a -1. Same reason why they dont use instant fusion. This has a few specific uses as mentioned but as general xyz support...it is kinda lacking to me. I think any xyz support will have something to do with the xyz materials, and adding them or detaching them.

I don't see a single reason as to why wouldn't monarchs use it, you take an Xyz out, bring out your monster, get teh Xyz back.

Not a -1, easy tribute fodder, and possibly get to abuse the xyz's effect, if it has that that doesn't require a material.

a -1 in the same sense that monarchs don't use instant fusion/jester confit/too many cyber dragon: tributing it is a -1, which is why treeborn is the fodder of choice.

i don't think there are any xyz monsters with a POSITIVE effect for having no xyz materials.

All I can think of in the realm of Xyz monsters that have positive effects that don't rely on Xyz Materials.
