I'd spend the first few turns casting really watered down spells, and taking your hits, and make it seem like you could win. Then I'd reveal I was just playing around, caste Haste on myself, Slow on all of you at once, and use my 4+ turn advantage to cast multiple instant-death spells. Grunt Issun Posted February 18, 2012 Report Share Posted February 18, 2012 I thought it'd happen more like this: You get captured, and, after I steal the MacGuffin from the Big Bad, I burst in to the dungeon, blow the door off the cell with a simple spell, then allow you guys to escape whilst I repeatedly throw Fireballs at the advancing mooks. Naturally I'll be walking backwards while shooting said fireballs to stay with the group, and to look awesome. Ah well, we'll ask him when he gets back, for now, we'll call him the Red Mage, which makes him the Jack of All Trades. Wulfy is just a Black Belt, so he's redundant, cuz he can't do as much as Renji, and he makes our 4 man team an uneven five. Plus he's implacable in the Five Man Band.
