Probably no one really reads profiles
, but even though I have "video games" as one of my "interests". My knowledge of new stuff is 0.
My interest in that comes from when I was a kid, because my parents owned an arcade. Soooo I spent a bit playing old school stuff people probably don't play anymore (Street Fighter 2, Mortal Combat 1, 2, and 3, and pretty much all "King of Fighters" stuff [my favorites] )
I still play with them for free at the backyard where they are pretty much rotting away nowadays ever since the last 8 years or so... because that bussiness is no more.

but no... I don't really even know about that stuff much anymore....

KoF is awesome. I've played:

Though 98 and 2002 are just dream matches, if it's story that you'd like to see, don't worry about them. Though when playing, 2002 seems to be the most popular in my city... any of the few remaining arcades always have a few copies of it... which are very often crowded.

They have some for the Wii actually.
KoF is divided in 3 parts.
-The Orochi Saga (94 - 97 + 98's dream match)
-NESTS (99 - 2001 + 2002's deam match)
-The Tales of Ash (2003 - XIII)

The ones that are under "Orochi Saga" are in a single disk for the Wii. Though nothing near playing them in arcades :3

Also.... too bad they are only the oldest ones.... maybe a bit too old.

I dun like Wiimote ;~;

So even if I got it, I would likely only get 80% of the enjoyment of if I was playing with a GC controller

You should be able to. The Wii accepts Game Cube controllers too.
As for if the game accepts it, I can't be 100% sure, but I think it should.


There are also arcade-like sticks and buttons being sold apart...... but those are too damn expensive, and each of them is not gonna be compatible with ALL of the fighting games.
My brother got one when Tatsunoko Vs Capcom came out, but it worked for all the fighting games we had except for the KoF stuff... which sucked... really hard.

Well it DID work for Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, which is what it was made for, but the idea of something made for a certain simple enough playstyle (fighting games) for a specific console, not working for all the fighting games of the console despite having awfully similar controls..... is kind of sad.


Oh, and I only have SoulSilver and Pkmn White for the DS, and Mario Party (but I disliked Mario Party from the DS enough to not consider even having it)
