From what I heard

But it has an okay story

So some people enjoy it

But if it was better written

More people would enjoy it

Enjoyment and well-writtenness as intertwined

I personally can't stand to read poorly-written works

The tittle is missleading. The loooong article actually states pretty decent evidence, and iirc, he stated he's not a hater himself, but rather in a neutral position, but still able to recognize the many errors present in HP.


@Renji:
Sometimes, it's more entertaining for the mind to imagine stuff by itself than having the anime/movie/show show you the images. That alone makes reading interesting.
I personally only like anime over manga because once in a while I like to see colors and cool animated action sequences... and because of opening/ending songs, but overall having the book is better to me..
Well I guess to each their own..




Just for the record. I'm not a Harry Potter hater, but I don't like the climax of either book.
"Oh no, your Phoenix has blinded my basilisk! but he can still hear you!" < with Harry unable to see for himself what had just happened, and with his life on the line, it was very kind of Tom to specifically state what had just happened to Harry's advantage.

I think Harry Potter is a billion times better than Twilight though...

I also agree, books bring about a dimension of imagination that movies kinda kill

To me, I like both anime and manga, though when an anime is well-made, with good art, I prefer anime

I prefer manga and anime to western stuff most of the time

Mostly because there's a depth to the characters and plot you don't see very often in western stuff

Death Note psyched my mind out, and I doubt any western show could even pull it off right

...besides, stuff like Naruto is way deeper than Avatar (...tho a ways into Shippuden, it starts dragging, it's picked up again)
