First of all, we'd have more of a warning as to when the new season was going to be arriving. Second, it's WAY too early. They usually have a half-year break, from what I can tell. Finally, that's much too long of an episode. Every episode usually stays within SECONDS of the 22 minute timeframe, never over a minute or two, to allow for commercials. It's just me poking fun at the fact that it was (basically) advertised as such. Also, for the time thing, a good amount of the extra time is credits, since it's more in-depth than the regular ones. I have to say it was a good concept and that looks incredibly awesome. If it wasn't already hinted, I would think it's april's fools stuff.
