Cadance and Shining are called just The Princess and The Prince, so apparently they kept what they killed, confirming ponies are the necromongers. I suppose Twilight will kill somepony by the end of the season. Also, I made a totally serious OC King Bed Rocker, alicorn of the reproductive instinct. He and his consort, the alicorn of motherhood, are the parents of Princess Cadance. He has returned after 2000 years to destroy love. Monogamy is unhealthy for a species with a male to female rate of 1 to 8, and he wants to save ponykind my make them act like the wild horses, with stallions fighting over big harems of mares. That would not only secure there are enough foals to continue the species, but also would make it so only the strongest get their genes to the next generation. Of course mortals like the way they live and will oppose him. But can they defeat a god older than Celestia, who can do the stare and sonic rainboom without even thinking? If I made an Alicorn OC, which would be stupid in the first place, as Alicorns aren't interesting, it'd probably incorporate several colors, like Cadence and Celestia do.
