CMRenji
Also, about time this was made:
Almost looks like Doctor Whooves under the costume. o.O @Thar: It looks amazing. It actually blends together quite nicely. And the extra bit of lighting is a good touch. :

Toffee.
Meep: Personally, I think Skylynx would match Dash better. but I can see why Powerglide was chosen. And Grimlock has a massive amount of fans, as does Derpy. So with them, its mostly on popularity. Also I find it a little amusing how Animated Wreck-Gar gets chosen over G1 Wreck-Gar. Shradow
Why is there only one Captain Falcon?

Also, with Powerforce locked I think it's safe to say we're the biggest club now. Toffee.
Alright, guys, we need a topic. And one that isnt spoiler-tastic. Lets discuss/analyze Over a Barrel. We all knew that a pie-fight was bound to happen, and it being super-effective against buffalo is rather amusing. Also, the whole episode would have ended if AJ and Braeburn just stopped to listen, which was about half-way through.
Grunt Issun
The last episode of DW&A was actually taking place during that episode. And yeah, you can't really expect them to listen. What with being racist and all. Braeburn is naturally racist, being a Pilgrim and all, as for Applejack, see: Bridle Gossip.
Toffee.
Actually, wait, I had the characters wrong. It was Dash and AJ who were aguing, when Brae and... Little Hoof(?) were willing to come to a conclusion. *memory is all messed up* So basically, Dash and AJ played another "HEY! LETS OVER-INFLATE OUR EGOS!! =D"-game, and as such, caused the problems to elevate.
-Berserker-
AJ is not racist, she would never say stuff like "speaking fancy" or "zebra sense". Will you guys buy and post here the IDW Friendship is Magic comics? I am interested in them and I live in the left armpit of the world.
Shradow
I don't think Ponyville's fear of Zecora had to do with her being a zebra. (certainly not the main reason, at least)
Grunt Issun
Well duh. They didn't KNOW she was a Zebra. They were afraid of her because she was DIFFERENT. If they knew she was a Zebra, then they would probably still have the same attitude. I guess Racism is the wrong word, though. It's Xenophobia. Î’yakuya
It's already a common definitional error when people say someone is "racist". A couple of ponies may have never seen a zebra before, but the reason why people fear her is because of the ominous environment around her and her unorthodox means when she goes to Ponyville. -Berserker-
The pie fight was the first time in the entire series my willing suspension of disbelief was broken.
Toffee.
Why? Because the pies implied the buffalo were dead?
-Berserker-
Because they used their food supply (the reason for the fight) as ammo.
Toffee.
But considering how fast they made all those pies, which in the spam of about.... what? 2 minutes? They can very easily re-stock O,o
Î’yakuya
So basically the town of Appaloosa is like a gun. Can fire many at fast intervals, and can reload instantly. But the entire thing was just silly. Pies as arsenals...
Toffee.
Pies are also for comedic effect.
-Berserker-
If at least they told what their plan was (if there was one). Something like: "They are too strong to try and fight them directly, let's use that power against them. Let's cover their vision so they ram against something that can hold them, like anvils. I think pies are perfect ammo for this situation"
Grunt Issun
No, they're just being silly. There was no strategy. It was just silly. Even for Ponies.
Shradow
If you can do it with cake, pie would do fine.
Î’yakuya
Even if it's for comedy, pies as arsenals is just plain silly. Is this how Earth Ponies do combat?
Grunt Issun
No. It's not. It's silly, even for Ponies.
Î’yakuya
But on the topic of pies and arsenals, how do earth and/or pegasus ponies in general arm themselves and fight? Invisible guns? And was the choice of using pies to fight a good choice to fight the buffalos?
