I took Arm's advice and made this little gem of a pony fic. Don't raeg at me if you can't unsee this.

[spoiler=The CMC have a Gay Time]
The Cutie Mark Crusaders, consisting of Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom were sitting on a bench, eating ice cream bars. They were delicious and coated with a tasty crumb-like substance. 'Scootallo, what did you call this ice cream again?' Apple Bloom inquired.

Scootaloo took a large lick of her ice-cream before answering. 'Mrs. Ice-cream sad they were called 'Golden Gaytimes' she answered.

'Oh' Apple Bloom commented, before licking the ice cream some more.

There was a silence for a bit, with them merely eating their ice-cream, until. 'What's 'gay time'?' Apple Bloom inquired.

Scootaloo raised a hoof, before lowering it to her chin in thought. 'I dunno actually' she replied.

This question put them all off pondering exactly what a gay time is. 'Maybe Twilight Sparkle knows' Sweetie Belle suggested.

They all agreed to this with cheers, but not before eating the rest of their ice-creams and placing them in the bin. Then, they all raced of tot he library in Ponyville to find out from Twilight Sparkle what exactly a 'gay time' was.

They were singing their Cutie Mark Crusader song all throughtout Ponyville until they reached the library. They all knocked very politely on the door; to which Twilight opened and stared down at them. 'Oh, why if it isn't the Cutie Mark Crusaders. What are you doing here?' she inquired.

'We came to ask you what a 'gay time' is' Apple Bloom said sweetly.

A grin formed on Twilight's mouth. 'Sure, there should be a book in here that'll tell you all you need to know' she replied and opened the lower library door.

The CMCs bounced through the doorway, which Twilight closed behind them. The lights went out suddenly, and the girls screamed. 'Spike, turn the lights back on' Twilight ordered with frustration.

'Sorry Twilight' Spike apologised in the dark and flicked the switch back on.

The library lit up, and Twilight found the CMCs all huddled together. She smiled, before using her magic to grab a dictionary off a nearby shelf and laid the book in front of her. The pages flicked rapidly, before landing on the page she was after. 'Here we go, gay. *clears throat* To act merrily or carefree. For instance, [i]he waltzed gayly across the road[/i]' Twilight read from the book.

'Oh, I get it now. So, a Golden Gaytime means that you should have a good time eating it' Apple Bloom realized.

Twilight smiled as the book was returned to the shelf. 'That's right, you always have a gay time when you do something you like to do' she agreed.

'Another victory for the Cutie Mark Crusaders' the trio cheered loudly.

Twilight laughed slightly as the trio bounced out of the library. 'We are having a gay time, we are having a gay time' they chanted; and thus, they went gayly on their way.[/spoiler]

On the topic of the CMCs.....

.....Oh, the other day, I re-named my Crusader's Crossbow(TF2, of course) to "[i]Cutie Mark[/i] Crusader's Crossbow"

I always wondered how mane-y puns were used on the show, or just in general with MLP. Perhaps we hoove to try harder at finding them. I know this will cause some form of damage to somepony, but just ignore those neigh-sayers. No horsing around either, we're trying to be punny. If it turns out well enough, we may even be able to write for 4Kids.

Also: Pony = Horse, 4Kids = (Terribad) One Piece, Horse Puns + One Piece = [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxJaFunXGVs"]This Lovely Gem of Totally Real and Not-At-All Fake 4Kids Dub.[/url] (Be warned, not for those who enjoy their sanity.)
