Just Crouton
Watched Tenchi Muyo. Lost interest after 10 episodes. Read Love Hina. I want that time wasted back. Read the first couple volumes of Negima. See comment on Love Hina.
Lunar Origins
Is Elfen Lied considered Harem? It's a bit of a twist on it, but it fits.
*insert rant about how most people drop Negima before it starts to actually become good here* If you stopped anywhere earlier than around volume 18, there's literally no way any assessment you've made of it would be considered accurate (yes, I am indeed agreeing that most of the beginning isn't good at all):

Astro Dude
It's like this: Tenchi Masaki is now living with his dad, grandpa, and six alien girls: A scientist, a space pirate, a princess, her little sister and two space cops. And the pirate Ryoko and princess Ayeka always fight over Tenchi. If that's not Harem, I don't know what is. Then again, theres the new harem coming up: Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Not sure if it's a harem but there's a guy who's in a club with six girls. Darth Revan of the Sith
I usually only like Harem anime and Manga although there are a few exception like FMA, Dragonball Z, Naruto, Strike Witches, One Piece, Fairy Tail, etc.

Phantom Roxas
Those are good because they're actually good stories, not because they're harem series.
burnpsy
If it takes fifteen volumes to actually get good, then there's a problem.
Most people who like the series consider the Festival arc's second half to be where it got good. And that was 10 volumes in. The same group only considers it to be sub-par for the first 2-3 volumes and only "OK" for the other 7. But, after that, it ends up better than most series I've seen, so I'd say it's a fair trade-off. Volume 18 is just the point where you finally have a good idea of what the series is like, since that's when the aforementioned second half of the Festival arc ends. Also, if you read the gif, there indeed was a problem - the editing staff.
