[/quote] A lot of them are based on graphic novels, therefore they never actually finish with an ending that makes sense or gives you a sense of conclusion (i'm looking at you, IS and Zero) So, yea, there's a reason there aren't enough good ones. The reason it took so long was because the author/creator (also author of Strike Witches) of Zero had cancer. So he decided to take care of that instead of writing the final 2 volumes. BTW, that anime wants me to write a story that takes every single anime trope ever made and does the opposite.
