Am I the only one who thinks that if used only as EPIC GAME CHANGERS that those cards can be exciting expetiacaly when the game changer leadss to an edge out win not as bad as yusei vs team unicorn more like yugi vs kiba or joey vs rexor mie valentine.

@Justice: Really wasn't calling you stupid but if that's how you're interpreting all this then something's obviously come out wrong.

 

@ Reina: EXACTLY. You have to give a feel that everyone's a main character, which means no one can win all the time or lose all the time or whatever. things need to be planned out and done right. Otherwise it will just end up failing again.

@ king the thing about game changers is that both players would have to discuss when the card is used and how it is used. but if there is no game changing cards then the players wouldn't have to discuss that part and could focus more on the duel itself and how little cards would be played in a more interesting way then just :I play dark hole and wipe out you're entire field, now I attack you directly and win the duel.

I'm still in this, just want to say that the reason for me abandoning this RP isn't really my fault. I had to take a break from internet/T.V./etc to try to bring grades up in school. By the time I did my internet service got cut off for around a month. So by the time I got my internet back I had forgotten about every Rp I was in. Forgetting was my fault but abandoning wasn't.

 

Now time for my opinions. So far I like pretty much everything FreelanceRaiko said. Seperating into arc and stuff like that would be a good idea. Also the whole game-changer thing. Pretty much I agree with everything he has said. Yes starting this RP all over would be better than trying to revive it.

 

If there's anything I can do to help please tell me.

Card Name/Name as Student: The Supremacy Sun/ Silas Light

Gender/Age: Male, 16, Freshman

Bio: Silas recently attended a meeting between a small faction of the duel spirits who want the humans to respect their cards more, rather than either just using them and sacrificing them. During the meeting he was nominated as the envoy of that faction to try and make the humans understand this, though he doesn't know how he will acomplish that goal yet. With him though came several of the duel spirits in the deck he has brought, namely all seven Crystal Beasts, along with the cards of several of the strong monsters from that meeting, his own amongst them. He managed to get into Ra Yellow because he managed to defeat the teacher he was dueling without losing any lifepoints.

Appearance: As a human Silas is tall and fairly strong, and wears a yellow shirt and a black pair of jeans, and has a black pendant on a golden chain around his neck. His right eye is a dark amber colour and his left eye is a bright gold colour. His hair is short and black, spiking up at the top, and his duel disk is a basic Ra Yellow duel disk but with seven gems representing the seven crystal beasts embedded in them, which are linked to the spirits of the seven crystal beasts.

Personality: Silas is fairly calm and kind, but will really get mad if people aren't treating their cards with respect. He is also rather proud, always thinking he is better than everybody else but not showing it usually, not letting people know that he thinks that. He is also fairly proud at his ability to keep his emotions buried down, and not let other people see them. He is also obsessed with coffee, drinking several cups a day and often seen with a cup of coffee in his hand.

Ability: Solar Charge (Silas can tap into into the power of the sun to create illusions and mirages, convincing ones but the power increases and decreases on the amount of sunlight, meaning during day his power increases quite a lot but decreases when the sun goes down, and only gains any power from the reflected light of the moon), Solar Battery (Silas can store a small amount of solar power for use when the sun isn't strong or he is blocked off from it's light), Solar Discharge (a powerful strike where he can send a ball of stored solar energy out, combining it with the power from the sun when possible to hit someone and usually just knock them back, though it can burn too).

Deck Type: Crystal Beasts (includes a few high level and strong cards, The Supremacy Sun amongst them, and one xyz monster, Super Dreadnought Cannon Express Gustaph Max)

Reason For Coming to the School: To try and get respect for the smaller and weaker duel monsters, and those who have been abandoned in the recent years, into any duelist he meets.

Dorm: Ra Yellow

@Simdoggy: Reina was correct, you cannot have multiple sins. I might add that to the front. Why I may not? Because the front page becomes the most broken thing ever every time I try to fix it.

 

I like how we're starting from scratch! It could really give us a second chance, and I like that.

 

I know everyone will hate me for this, but I'm gonna update Dalst. But wait there's more!

 

Dalst Riley 2.0 will have brand new things to bring to this RP like:

-Added Laziness!

-Some Ignorance!

-Hypocritical Actions!

-And Possibly Much More!

@Cherry: Yeah I used to play on there.

 

Now we may need to discuss the entire story line in general if this will be a reboot. you know touch some things up so things don't seem to cliche and what not, as well as discuss ideas for the story to begin and how plot lines should follow, along with episodes that i guess you could even call fillers, after all you can't have the whole thing being completely from one serious encounter to the other if you're gonna go for an episodic format because without the sense of some kind of normality it becomes too convoluted.

also i was thinking of using the spoiler feature to contain each episode. as in the following

 

we begin with episode one, them song and all, and we work through the whole episode. then, if you'll allow, i'll take all the posts from everyone, and copy them in to a spoiler at the top of the first page under the plot and add it there. then we simply delete the remaining posts to make room for episode 2.

 

this way episodes stay organized and are easily reviewed, and plus once you add it all together it no longer looks like posts but an actual flowing narrative.

 

now all we need to do is agree on the opening theme for the show along with battle music, ending them, and even character themes.

I like the idea, but I was thinking maybe we could make each episode a day. The only problem with that, is that these days will be long, so maybe half a day?

 

As for theme songs. I'm kinda split on that, but since this RP will run like a show with episodes and all, I think it can be done. I'll let you all vote on that.
