I really have no idea what Stalfos keeps going on about. I hope he realizes that I don't look at the OoC thread beyond the first post.

Excepting, of course, Roleplays that don't gather a list of all the applications in the first post I assume.

I'd like to go ahead and Suggest Bleach: Darkest Days for a review if Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad deems it acceptable. I'd really like to hear what you think of it.

In case you didn't guess, all of the above is @ Supreme Gamesmaster
Sure. Episode 107 or 109, whichever. Look forward to it!
Well, yes. I read as far out as is necessary to assemble an idea of the gamemaster's administrative abilities. For any competent roleplay, this should be the first post.

Fair warning for if and when you do it, as of right now there is no "Accepted apps" Spoiler anywhere.
This'll be fun.

You're going to be reviewing the new Maigo Keishi, correct?
At some point, yes. Possibly as the season finale, episode 113.

Fun fact: The seasons aren't just there to look pretty; if I want to screw around with the show's format, I'll experiment at the end and permanently change it for the new series.

I figure I should offer some constructive criticism at some point. The pre-prepared audio clips that you use for quick gags -the M.Bison OF COURSE and such- work in some cases, but not so much in others; the long "One of These Things Is Not Like the Others" clip in 104 ran the joke into the ground a little, and THIS IS SPARTA has pretty much ceased to be funny in vanilla form. I'd keep them under five seconds at all times, and avoid using them for any joke that's a little too obvious- because, as everyone knows, the best way to use an old joke is to twist it.

Supreme: Wut? You're going to wait to review Maigo almost 2 months from now? D: Well.. There goes that review again.. Lol. Lost Heir didn't even last the 2-3 week wait it had. And I don't think I could make Maigo into a trilogy without a complete change of characters, story and time.

Btw, fun fact, Maigo Keishi litterally translates into Lost Heir via Japanese-->English. That's why Lost Heir was in ( ) instead of following a :, like New Era is.
It's not all bad. I have a direct hand in keeping it alive, and Thraci is practically self-sufficient. I have to give all roleplays a chance.

Spectrum review will be out later today. Sorry yet again for the wait.

Hm, wasn't nearly as painful as I'd expected, I shall take this as a good thing...

In any case, I would like to say that Zues is meant to be transparently evil and what-not but.....Well no, no he wasn't. To be honest he's actually lifted from another story of mine (Winter Genesis) and he doesn't really make any attempt to hide his villainy there so really it's more a case of bad choice of character. Syra himself is a relitively new character and I haven't had any real ideas for his backstory and personality which is why he just has the generic ones he does.

But still, I enjoyed this a lot and it's certainly encouraged me to carry on and try and improve on some points (I always hate reviews and critiques that tell you you've failed at something but don't go into detail meaning you have no idea how exactly you can improve, this thankfully avoided that).

Works so far...

SPOTLIGHT SEASON!! =D

EDIT: ...waitaminnut, I don't remember insisting on the OoC Thread being viewed.
That was sarcasm. You kept saying "OH CRAP HE'S GONNA REVIEW THIS THING IN THE OOC THREAD" after I announced the review, so of course I had to review that thing in the OoC thread.
And thank you for your specific critique-of-my-critique. ^_^
You should take it as a good thing. I'd join Spectrum if I played YGO.
I'm really glad I was able to communicate what was wrong rather than just the fact that something was wrong. One of my goals in the making was to make sure that these reviews were sufficiently informative that people can improve from them rather than just hearing "THIS ROLEPLAY SUCKS" over and over again. I'm really glad I was doing that well. Thanks again for listening! ^_^

Wow. This is very interesting.
Well, I must be doing something right. :D

Love the reviews, but you forgot to change the title, hence the late comment. Quote the many reviews: "I'm not impressed." (end quote). Change the title man!

But, as mentioned above, another fantastic review.
oops

Thank you very much. Title changed, sig soon to follow. (Sigs are a pain to change now, though. >_>)

My upcoming schedule:
107 ~ Bleach: Darkest Days by Altaïr Ibn La'Ahad
108 ~ -Over Academy by SF-A2 Miki -- In Hindsight
109 ~ Blood Blue: Kuro no Ouji by .:Blu:.
110 ~ ???
111 ~ ???
112 ~ ???
113 ~ Maigo Keishi: A New Era by *~Dark~Magician~Girl~*

Many thanks to all my loyal viewers~!

With all due respect,
~Supreme Gamesmaster Yddisac
Legend of Link was really good, though. Does anyone remember it?

Paused upon hearing about your idea of cataloguing various RP management philosophies. I personally prefer the “round robin” style for thread-based RPing, where each character is assigned an order in a list. First posts first, then second, then third... all the way down until the last character, after which it’s the first’s turn again. If a character doesn’t post for a certain period of time, they’re skipped for that round. That way, there isn’t one or two players dominating the flow, but people can still post at a consistent rate.
