oh, okay. so is that why you can't use Prisma with it? because its not specific?
As explained before: The OCG (Japanese) version said the Materials were "Elemental Hero Neos + 1 "Ultimate Gem God" monster" (therefore it's non-specific, and can use Rainbow or Rainbow Dark as they were both "Ultimate Gem God" or whatever)

The English version printed Rainbow Neos as needing Ehero Neos and either Rainbow or Rainbow Dark, specifically naming them, when it really shouldn't have. The English version was ruled that Prisma can't send a material, in order for the TCG to match the rulings of the OCG version.

In the OCG: Rainbow Neos' materials are "'Elemental HERO Neos' + 1 'Ultimate Gem God' monster", making it non-specific.

In the TCG, it is because it says "Rainbow Dragon OR Rainbow Dark Dragon", meaning it also isn't specific. [/KONAMI logic]

Damnit, ninja'd.

then why do we have different rulings with Xyz monsters?
Because Kevin Tewart's an idiot who makes rulings that specifically contradict the OCG version of the mechanic in order to, I assume, have a set ruling for the TCG regions until specifically corrected.

Before the Xyz thing, the TCG did make mistakes with printing and wordings and changed them or made rulings so that the cards would work as the OCG intended.

So we can't even use the Hex-Sealed Fusion cards for this?

The lack of specificity in the Rainbow Dragon requirement is bad enough, but not making this an Elementa Hero even though the anime did? Simply inexcusable.

I just got to say this, but Rainbow Dash is my second-least favorite of the ponies. My least favorite is of course Twilight Sparkle. I saw the first two episodes, and didn't feel like watching further. Apparently the only reason I should continue is because it gets better later on, but I don't feel compelled to see for myself.

And yes, I'm saying this while I have a Nepeta avatar, since Homestuck was the fad here before MLP. Irony?

O_o
I can understand the intentional lack of support IRL. I mean, a 4500 ATK Fusion that returns a full section of your opponent's playing cards to the Deck. It also requires only 2 materials.

So they decided to make it pretty much only possible with Polymerization + Neos + Rainbow Dragon variant and prevent players to take shortcuts from other ways. Then its also a stand-alone fusion that doesn't really belong to the archtype. I could say "it would have been better if x drawback wasn't there", but this can easily tilt from underused to BS and I'd rather have it the way it is than something else to break the game with. Also, its still somewhat decent/fun/not imposible to play.

As for the MLP part, you don't seem to just not like it but it almost sounds like you hate it, and I like Twilight Sparkle why is it a given that she is the worse? =(

Never heard of that character you mention from your avatar. Will/might look it up later.

This card is awesome once you get it out. My only problems were covered in my last post, but admittedly, they help balance this card out.

The show seems fine, but it seems incredibly overrated. As a matter of fact, Applejack is my favorite pony. It's a given because I think that only someone who has seen the first two episodes wouldn't like Twilight Sparkle. The show seems dedicated to her character development, but at first she's kind of a brat.

TBH, RN's effects can actually be used a bit. Send a useless Call for Trunade effect, send some random monster for Direct Attack, mill a Miracle Fusion (target) to get their stuff out of the play-zone...
It's surprising that the last effect, which, during its' time, was terrible, is now actually really good.

As for the off-topic stuff, I can understand you not liking the show after the Pilot, which was sheerly filler. The show is overhyped, yes, and can be terribly boring. But, it does have its appeals.

Rainbow Neos wasn't an Ehero in the anime.

But think about how Jaden feels. He can only bring out this card if Jesse is either

1) His opponent
2) A teammate in a tag duel/Battle Royale
3) Gives him his most treasured card

I'd say we have it easy.

Yeah, why did he have Rainbow Neos anyway?

I am of the opinion that a lot of characters literally pull new Fusions/Synchros/Xyz cards out of thin air. 5Ds confirmed this.

And really, he'd have to have pulled it from nowhere. Pegasus had only JUST made Rainbow Dragon. Why the hell would he create a fusion requiring a one-of-a-kind card he just made (and was then lost in another dimension), and a card that wasn't even released to the public?
