Lonk
What, he's not allowed to have an opinion? If I took away LOZ from the title and replaced it with something else, what would you say about the game? I'm not blaming you, but everyone overrates this so much, and there's like 500 games I'd rather play before this.
It isn't an opinion. An opinion would be if you said that the controls are flawed. I can accept that since it is one of the few times Nintendo uses Motion Controls. However, if you say that the controls are practically unplayable (like how you said they were), then that is an unjustified bias. Actually, I would still play it if it didn't have the title "Legend of Zelda", because I enjoy 1:1 sword play.
Resident Fascist
I found them sorta flawed. the way I said it was wrong, but eh I'd rather they said [Do you want to use 1:1 Motion control?] [YES] [NO(Use a gamecube controller instead?)]
Tentacruel
Being able to play SS does not make your penis any bigger. I found the motion controls very challenging but incredibly fun once you get the hang of it. I don't see why you guys are getting so worked up. Lonk
Ah ok, then that changes everything. The way you said it was that the controls were horrendous to the extent that they were unplayable (which would make you sound like someone gamers in general would hate). Ok, I actually like 1:1 swordplay a bit more than traditional controls since: 1) It offers more of a challenge 2) It makes me feel as though I am more immersed in the game I apologize for working myself up, but it is the fact that everyone who says that the controls of a game (who's controls were proven good) are bad without any real evidence just works me up. Resident Fascist
I like challenge to be the game itself and not to have to learn controls. i.e: False roman cancels. oh god those things are SO hard to do consistently. Idk how these Japanese players manage to do it...
Lonk
controls are actually pretty simple to learn and rewarding if you are open to learning them. The way I see it, it was Nintendo experimenting with a new control scheme. I sometimes see that it may not always hit where I want it to hit, but about 95% of the time, it hits the mark. Resident Fascist
yes, but as I said a controller option would've been nice shame the wii has no patch updates so they can't just like patch it in.
Lonk
I don't think that would be able to work. After all, the game was an experiment to see if Motion Controls could be used for hardcore games. Apparently, it did its job so well that it won awards. Anything that wasn't motion control couldn't be patched unfortunately.
Ieyasu Tokugawa
Shard, GC controller would be impossible at this point. There are too many puzzles where you actually need to slice horizontally, vertically and diagonally to solve them. The controls are not bad at all. Sure the slicing can get stupid at times, but it works. My only beef is that the item select and aiming stuff uses the motion plus and not the sensor bar. Would've been easier than recentering the aim every single time you bring out an item.

Thar
Talk about Zelda withdrawal. I haven't gotten any further in the game in 2 weeks. But more importantly, has anyone realized that Twilight Princess takes place next in the Timeline after Skyward Sword?
Ganondorf was right. Sweetie Belle
So I tried to get the Hylian Shield again (last time I tried, the last one was Imprisoned 3, and I missed his head again), and I was about to start the eighth battle, when my Wiimote's batteries died. Somehow, I'm not meant to get the Hylian Shield.

Phantom Roxas
In the Adult timeline, Ganondorf only dies once. In the Child timeline, Ganondorf is killed in Twilight Princess, reborn and Four Swords Adventures, and then sealed away. In the "Link fails" timeline, Ganondorf is sealed, unsealed, killed, reborn, killed again, reborn again, killed yet again, and then almost reborn yet again. So really, it's the "Link fails" timeline that gave Ganon most of his deaths.
Lonk
I theorize that since Link failed to seal ganon away when he was defeated in the final battle against ganon, Ganondorf was not exposed to the light of the blade and, as a result, manifested into a pure demon (which is why he is always sealed away and killed). Tentacruel
I think they should have squeezed it into one timeline tbh.
Lonk
It wouldn't be possible. There are too many contrasting events between each of the games that makes it impossible for it to fit onto the same time (i.e. Hyrule was sealed away and destroyed in the Wind Waker Era, but Hyrule remains intact in the TP era while Ganon possessed the entire triforce once in the Hero is Defeated era while being completely corrupted).
