TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
True, but at least they did not (to my knowledge) include almost shameless insert characters from other series by the same guy (no weegee for you).
Lonk
At the very least, Link, Zelda, Impa, Groose, and even Scrapper, all had character development. Even though Scrapper's character development really isn't seen, his attitude towards Link changes after the escort quest.
Shradow
Groose was actually pretty cool when he stopped being a bully (well, as much of one), and he's been lulzy from the start. He's awesome.
Lonk
Groose definitely has seen the most change within his development. He went from being a minor antagonist to being a major supporting character for Link.
Agro
Lol, when he jumps on link and sees the surface. I think my favorite thing about the game was that link wasn't perfect when we started out, though I wish they'd made his ascent much farther than: he's lazy. Now he'd not lazy. Lonk
Actually, I think Link went from being the regular guy with some perks everybody can relate to to being a hero who has accepted his fate and destiny as a hero. This is kind of like how Harry Potter should have been like as a character but didn't because Rowling didn't want him to develop as a character. Shradow
He's a silent protagonist (though there are those exposition-y bits), of course he's not gonna have as much as a normal person.
Agro
But they shudda emphasized his changes better throughout the game. He kinda just woke up and was a different person. though, guise, best line ever ( I KNOW. LINE IN A ZELDA GAME? Shradow
I do love the different text options. XD Also, selling about the 30 or so Amber Relics you usually have to Rupin for 30 each is a great way to make money. XD I think this time I'll farm for Dusk Relics, cause now I'm at the Lanayru Trial. I'm curious as to why it came before Eldin, though. While I was in the Ancient Cistern, I farmed for Evil Crystals at the place where you have to climb the rope and those zombie bokoblins would keep spawning. Yay for Treasure Medal. [/quote] True, but out of all of the incarnations of Link, the one from Skyward Sword has the best-shown personality and character development. He is shown to be romantically interested in Zelda, can be quite a gluteous when it comes to the multiple choice answered, and is shown to regret what he does at times. He at least aknowledges when he makes mistakes and expresses them like how regular humans would. He even cries like how a human would, thus rendering him with a real visible character sketch of him through the game.

Lonk
I have to say that, although Eldin Volcano's Silent Realm seems very complex, it's actually quite easy, especially when compared to Naryu's Silent Realm (probably because I didn't know that you can climb onto the outside of the mining facility). I guess because it is easier to dodge the Guardians there and I don't act stupid? Also, realized Guardians aren't that scary anymore. Guardian Knights aren't really mobile (they can't chase you if they can't jump over and down ledges) and Flying Guardians are too slow to catch up to you and take an entire second just to hit you. However, I still don't like how the silhouette changes color and that terrifying Silent Hill-like music starts playing in the background nor do I like the sound of the Knight Guardians chasing you or the Flying Guardians sharpening their swords when they both go next to you. Agro
Eldin is tough only because you can run out of time if you start out the wrong way. And those damn lantern guys were so perfectly placed. Dx Yeah, you can easily run around the guardians, but the hills on Eldin can be a b****. Shradow
Eh, I got bored farming, but once I actually had to start over because I accidentally fell into the sand, and that gave the flying guys time to get me. XP And starting off with double clawshots is awesome.

I landed hard at the bottom of the hill, just missing the tear and giving the guardian enough time to make 1 swipe.
