.Rai
Well, you should never ever rescale sprites. Ever. Just zoom in and work that way. When you rescale, you lose horrendous amounts of the quality which I can also tell from your avatar. I see you saved it as a .gif. The format is alright but if you want to maximise quality, always use .png. The other two things I'd say are first shade the outline. A realistic outline should just be a darker shade of the main colour. But it should change, lighter where the light hits it and darker where the shadow is. Lastly is shade it. Way too important to miss. There's no shading at all, which is disappointing to say the least.
Master White
Well, I stink at shading, and I was wondering how to do that part.....on a computer program that is... I use gimp.... Also, so I can't rescale a drawing that is 800 x 800 down so I can try to sprite it? Well, how else am I suppose to sprite, b/c I can't draw worth the cr*p, I traced it over...... .Rai
Simple. Just place another layer of a dark blue or red and put it on a low opacity. And on the rescaling, don't rescale twice. Just scale down to sprite size (88x88) and leave it at that.
Master White
@Cursed Reaction: That's all it takes, oophta, well, I missed something then, but thank you, I'll surely give it a try....
