No, actually I wait for an entire day. Yesterday, I had some cards that were over 3 weeks old, and when I touched one of them (a Spell Card) you could clearly see a large fingerprint and it hasn't gone away yet.

Ah. Then I can't say I can help you with that, though it could be the printing material or ink you're using.
