This old chap seems to be quite interested in children's television shows, especially those watched predominantly by young females. This causes the following thought to occur: Is Dark a pedophile? I shall have to investigate this possibility more closely, though evidence suggests that he simply doesn't afraid of V&. He also appears to have a quite dark outlook on life, as exemplified by his title, "You don't deserve to live." Perhaps this train of thought is what led to him being known as "Dark".

Your friendly neighborhood Dark appears to be a fan of atoms, or at least the(roughly) upper 3/4s of them. However, his avatar, which has apparently become known as the "Atheist Atom", has an oddly-placed symbol in it.

As you can see in my admittedly poor edit, the crossing paths of the various electrons form a shape similar to a lop-sided Star of David, which has become well-known as the central symbol of Judaism. There is a very good chance that those bearing this symbol may, in fact, be a member of the Jewish faith, but are attempting to hide it behind Athiesm or Agnosticism. It may well be this insight that caused Dark to recieve a number of votes for "Most Likely to Succeed" in this year's YCM awards, since many a Jewish affiliate goes on to live, at least, a moderately successful life. If this is indeed the case, then I have both a mild contempt and further admiration for you. The contempt comes from you thinking that the board would care that much about your religion, and the admiration stems from your being able to hide it behind the ruse of keeping us all distracted with your long essays.

Please don't address me as such, it is rude and quite archaic at best. You using such a phrase implies that you are either very good friends with me or that you are certain that I am quite elderly, neither of which is the case. It also is a very cliche (excuse my lack of an accent on the [i]e[/i]) to address someone as such, as anything popularized by movies becomes quite stale and boring.

Just because a show is targeted at a certain demographic does not mean the show can be classified as such. It [i]is[/i], though, in society, and I find that particularly stupid. One can say that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (henceforth referred to as MLP) is predominantly aimed at females under the age of eight, but that says nothing about the audience that actually watches the show. Many, potentially a large portion (though not a majority), of those who watch MLP are males between the ages of thirteen and twenty-four, and if it societally unacceptable to watch such a show, I apologize that you've fallen into the senseless rambling of society's whim.

I don't understand why this question was even posed - the answer is quite clear and obvious. I watch a show for little girls, I am infatuated by all types of candy, I own a black van with tinted windows that has no registered license plate, not to mention that I am actually a forty-year-old man that claims to be seventeen on the internet. All signs point to the fact that I am a pedophile, and most pedophiles do not want to draw attention to themselves because pedophilia is clearly illegal. So why did you pose such a question when it clearly causes harm to me?

Yes, I am clearly not afraid of this thing you call [i]V&[/i]. In my prime, I used to use the phrase [i]B&[/i] to refer to the word [i]banned[/i], clearly because both make the same essential sound. However, vanned nor vand is in my dictionary, but upon a Google search of the former term, it seems to mean the event at which the FBI takes away a criminal. The example used was that some person was v& for posting child pornography on the internet.

You would be absolutely correct, but not necessarily about the username. Dark is quite an aesthetically pleasing word to me, considering that it contains no repeated letters, only a single vowel surrounded by three consonants, and the fact that it is a simple, monosyllabic word. The k sound at the end of the word is also auditorily pleasing. Also, I am a self-proclaimed pessimist, so you would be correct in inferring that I have a bleak outlook on life.

Your joke was half-wit and stale at best, but I believe it is my fascination in the sciences (namely physics and chemistry, although not so much the latter) has fueled my love of atoms. You also forget that as a [i]devout[/i] (notice the irony) atheist, I attempt to express my lack of religion in a way that is easy to understand. If there ever existed an opposite to science, religion would be the closest thing to it. As such, an atom is perfect in exemplifying the atheist attitude, not to mention that it simply pleases me that I can carry a piece of science in my profile.

Your correlation is terrible. In fact, it is on par with the claim that because the Bible has the word [i]bib[/i] in it, it is only to be read by children. Also, do realize that the Star of David is one of the easiest ways to draw a regular hexagon, meaning many geometry textbooks that ever use such a star are automatically Jewish, according to you. Oh, and plus signs resemble the cross that Jesus was crucified on, meaning that the entire field of mathematics must be based in Christianity. I could go on and on detailing why your comparison is faulty and erroneous.

And when you consider that Jews have been persecuted for the past few thousand years, it leads me to believe that Jewish people work excessively hard to seek some sort of "revenge", in a sense, for their ancestors. Also, Judaism is not something you are born into, but rather is a choice. Meaning that if I took a random hobo in New York and forced him to convert to Judaism, would he be more probable to be successful? Not at all. Jewish people don't go on to lead successful lives, nor does Judaism cause people to have successful lives. But the ethnicities that are mainly represented in the Jewish religion are often highly-educated and do end up making an above-average income.

I do not think the board cares about my religion (or lack thereof), however. You are making blatant and false assumptions based on the few facts you actually have correct. You are extrapolating your data far past what it's worth, and your inferences about me are generally wrong and lack any sort of rational logic. Not to mention that there is no ruse, there is no guise that I put on. You are simply unable to comprehend who [i]and what[/i] I am, and your uncertainty leads you to make false and stupid, albeit long-winded, claims.

From the four or five posts I've seen of yours, you seem like a generally intelligent person that knows how to argue, although I'd like to see you post more in social debates rather than political bickering. You clearly show a preference towards liberalism, and General needs more people like you.
