This is only my second RP, so bear with me. Here is the plot: All six of the Signers have been killed and have had their Signer Dragons Destroyed by a rising criminal organization known as the Elemental Lords. With the new enemy rising, the Crimson Dragon has selected six new duelists to replace the old as Signers. Six new Signers, each with their own dragon. However, the Elemental Lords become stronger, with their plot for world domination becoming close to fruition. Now, the six new Signers must band together to defeat this new source of evil, before it is too late.

There will be five slots for the signers, not counting my character.

There will be six slots for the Elemental Lords, with each one having a deck based around a specific attribute. They also each have a Xyz monster, working as the ace card of their deck.

I will allow as many neutral apps as may be needed

Appearance: He has dark brown hair, just long enough to cover his ears. the hair on top of his head it spiked upward, giving a sharp appearance. His bright blue eyes stand out against his pale face. His nose is slightly crooked, having obviously been broken at least once in the past. He is tall and thin, usually wearing a grey trench coat. The trench coat is missing it's right sleeve, which is the arm on which he wears his duel-disk, being left handed. Underneath the trench coat, he wears a vest with a pocket on the left side of his chest, wear he keeps his deck when it is not in his duel disk.
Bio: Having been born on the streets, Maru grew up in poverty. He grew up near a junkyard wear repossessed or broken duel runners are thrown away. At first, he hated his home, but learned to embrace it as he grew older. When he was 16, he built himself a duel runner from all a broken parts he found near his home and with it, he learned to turbo duel. He soon had earned enough money to pay for his family to leave the place that everybody but him had hated, and used the remaining money to buy the junkyard. He then built a home for himself on the edge and started a business selling refurbished duel runners.

Bio:Wiroq came from a foreign land, and came to the city hoping to get a job. He brought a deck with him, one that confounded every opponent he fought. He soon became a Private Duel Teacher for young duelists. Not much else is known about him.

Appearance: Jane is fairly tall, with a fairly voluptuous build and long, slim limbs and digits. She has fairly pale skin, thick shoulder-length wavy blond hair, and pale blue eyes. She usually wears a black coat and/or suit jacket over a white blouse, with black trousers and shoes.
Bio: Jane has a number of psychic abilities, the most notable of which is that she is a post-cognitive, meaning she is able to mentally 'see' events which have happened but which she did not witness or have all the details about. This first manifested at a young age, and seeing violent and disturbing events that no-one else could perceive was traumatic for the young girl. Eventually, with support from her family, she was able to gain better control of her abilities, meaning she could shut out visions, as well as revealing weaker clairvoyance and empathic abilities as well as telekinesis, which she had subconsciously shut down to deal with the visions of the past.
Upon mastering her skills, she wanted to help others with them, and began to visit crime scenes and tell the investigators where evidence had been dropped. Once her success had been proven, she was eventually hired as a consultant by the police force, to assist their detectives.

Bio: Oria is a descendent of Ryou Bakura and thus a bearer of the power of the great thief. However, with the millennium ring long locked away, he is unable to call forth the great thief, but shares all the talents and skill. However, unlike the great thief, he uses his skills for the good of others, and mankind. He does, however, have a somewhat split personality. He can very easily change his moods and when they become negative he acts like a totally different person altogether. Normally, he is calm and friendly, however should he be angered he engages an over-confident thug-like persona. He was born and raised in New Domino City, and taught of his blood-line's legend, along with the great thief and all his tales. Oria learnt from his family's past mistakes with their power, and promised to do good to his family's name.

He has always been a cold and almost callus man, relying only on himself and stepping on anyone who has gotten in his way. It;s no surprise that he was part of the organization of the Elemental Lords, he more or less forced his way into it, desiring what all men desire...power.

Appearance: Tall, with curves on her upper body, but straight and very slim legs. She has dark hair kept straight and down to her neck, as well as brown eyes. She usually wears tight black leather shorts and a short leather top, along with a unique blue leather mask around her eyes. She has black knee-high boots and a leather coat on top.
Bio: When growing up, Meredith was always told she was attractive, and not much else. Despite being a talented athlete and very intelligent, she was always 'the pretty one'. Caving to pressure, she became a model, and rather well-known in fashion circles, but she never really enjoyed it, since it was, to her, mind-numbingly boring. Things changed when she found the Elemental Lords. The possibility of actually doing something, rather than just being paraded in front of people, was very appealing, and she took it up, revealing the ruthless strategist she could be.

But later in his life he has gone rouge and is wanted by the Sector Security for some time. During the times he was caught by sector security but then released by a mysterious figure named Velvin Honor who was a scientist and researching in enhancing the human body. He asked Jericho if he can study his body for research and experiment on him.. in exchange for his freedom. Due to Velvin's high ranking in the Government, Sector Security cannot disagree. Since Jericho wanted to get out of the Jail he said yes. After several painful experiments, Jericho gained special talents such as enhanced reflexes and strength. For sometime he was missing...but now he is back...for something.

He experiments and researches on the human body. He also enjoys dueling, he says it helps him calm down and gain new ideas. One day, his company (Velvin Science Corporation) has been contacted by a mysterious group known as the "Elemental Lords"... Ever since, he started to gather information about cards that have power beyond most card's limits..that were rare and rarely seen.

Bio: Not much to say. Ronald grew up as a normal citizen, bought duel monsters cards, entered a few tournaments. Ronald eventually began to run a streetside Duel Monster stand where he sold and bought used cards. He also plays his guitar there.
Aligiance: Ronald just wants to live his life, find a nice girl, settle down, but with those damn Elemental things out there he cant do that. Mind you, he doesnt like the Signers much either. He doesnt like anything Supernatural. He sides with the Signers, but unwillingly.

@Time Psyduck: I really like the app, but looking at the card you chose as your signer dragon, I think that it is a little too powerful. If you could find a slightly less epic card, it would be great. Also, I like your custom cards.

@se15fy: Dueling Network is a very nice website, but we will not be using it for a few different reasons:[list=1]

Instead, we will be dueling via RP. This also means that if somebody wished to, they could God-Mod (i.e. all 5 pieces of exodia in starting hand) but if anybody does God-mod, I will give them a warning. If they do it again, they will get warning number two. If they God-mod a third time, they may be kicked out of the RP

1. Unfortunately, even if a time is set, it is not garanteed that both players could be on at that time.

2. If we do proxy, both players will need to be clear on what card represents the intended card and the ATK/DEF, level/rank, attribute, type, and effect. (oh and name too)

3. There is now a server limit on Dueling Network. That means that only a certain amount of users can be online at a given time (i think its somewhere around 4,000) so as too prevent the site's server from crashing.

Well looking at the Dragon Synchros, and removing the level 6's as being unimpressive as boss monsters, anything that's related to signer dragons, anything with Type/Archetype requirements (and thus impossible to summon), anything with attribute requirements (since it makes summoning them reliant on specific monsters), and Scrap Dragon, I'm left with three: Beelze, Trishula, and [url="http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Purgatory_Dragon_-_Ogre_Dragoon"]Purgatory Dragon - Ogre Dragoon.[/url] I want to avoid Trishula, in case someone else wants an Ice Barrier/Water based deck, so if purgatory dragon is OK I'll change it to that one.


Dueling by PM could work if there aren't other characters observing, or it was done to check for responses so that posts could stop in the right place, but I think DN isn't a great idea. In order to give a deck consistency, you lose a lot of variety in the cards used. RP dueling lets you use more than the half-dozen or so 'best' options, and gives lower-tier decks a chance against 'meta' decks. It also means the victor can be tailored to the plot, should it be needed.
