The Slanted City [12/200]

The Borg

Recommended Posts

Magic has huge sets and blocks. And keywords. This is the beginning of my attempt to do the exact same thing, with Yu-Gi-Oh.
Note: Lore=Flavor Text
Warren -
Timekeeping - This allows the card to show that even the greatest fighters can't fight forever.
Draken -
Corruption Counters - These show the progression of a monster into the Draken mindset. They have effects added to them based on the monster that gave the token. Note: This ability, when assigned, continues to effect all of the counters on the card. So if two EN006 attack the same monster, than that monster looses 1000 Attack per token, until all the tokens are removed. So if all the tokens are removed, the effects stop lingering. They are cumulative in most cases.

New keywords will only be explained on the commons and rares and the Warren and Draken will both be sub-types (which FYI, Konami has had new ones created over time, and will be the only new sub-types I'll create). OCG tips anyone? I will keep keywords around, and will operate by the new OCG rules.

Since I didn't save swarm I added that to it's rulings.

This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard. When this card attacks a Draken Monster: you may take control of it and change it to Defense Position instead of destroying it. You can only gain control of one monster at a time by this effect. Corruption Counters can't be placed on this card.

I do want the take over to be permanent to represent purity among the once corrupted in the story, but I think only having one balances it.

yeah but the problem is the control is still a permanent one

you should have made the control last only for ONE TURN
Goyo had it last for more than one turn, and while he is now banned, he was considered fair while he was around. But fine, I'll change it some more.

Would anyone actually like to help play test this? Using Proxies on DN of course.
