Elina just laughed softly, her voice sounding like clear bells in a meadow. "Your greed truly knows no boundaries. You'll even try to own others if you can manage it, even if you are too young to understand. You don't even seem to understand basic principles of decency and common sense. I guess I have to teach you these lessons, despite your arrogance. If you won't leave on your own, I guess I must force you to." The shadows stopped writhing for a moment to strike forward suddenly, almost faster than the eye can see to strike at Krev's arm, intending to break it. "You should learn your lesson by the time that heals, as you will not be able to use your bow that you are so found of until then."

Krev winced as the shadow claws struck forward with blinding speed, giving only a brief moment to respond. "Swift as Air!" a wind aura enveloped him, heightening his reflexes and speed. He barely managed to shift his position, his arm unable to fully escape the attack. Blood dripped from the cut on his forearm, the pain pulsing through as he tried to move it. "My arm! Of all the place to strike, my arm?! These are the greatest possessions I own!" the elf cried out. Sul Rhun chuckled to herself as she nuzzled his arm. "Don't you laugh at me!" The elemental's energy seeped into his arm, slowly stopping the bleeding and healing the wound. While he would not be able to use his bow, the elf could still fight if need be.

"You've proven your point. You're just empty inside, like this town. That's why you'll never truly live." Krev jumped onto Sul Rhun's back as she hovered into the air, still clutching his arm. His eyes darted into Elina's concealed ones, at first angered then calming. "Although we just met, I feel as though you are my opposite. I am the Sin of Greed, and you the Virtue of Charity. I'll always take and you'll always give. I won't know a day's peace until that tablet and your head are mine!" "Farewell, Elina," Sul Rhun said as she took off into the skies while Krev laid back and squeezed his arm.

"How long until this arm heals, my dear?" the elf asked grudgingly. "If you continue that tone of voice with me, a few days' time. Elina the Lonely, eh? I have to fight for your heart then it seems." "You know you're the only one who matters to me. In time, her face will fade into the darkness along with the others. Let's go west." "I would suggest north, but the western winds are inviting." Sul Rhun ventured to the western winds while Krev counted his treasures and licked his wounds.

A sweatdrop appeared on Passer's face when the two just ran south. "M-master? That's south, right?" Aquila nodded and let out a smile. "Yes, you have good bearings." Then Aquila began to walk south, to Passer's shock. "M-master!? Shouldn't we be going to collect the shard?!" Aquila then said "Yes, but we are following them Passer. It would be rude to abandon them. Haven't I taught you about us being guests in thi world. It is not a burden, but a priveledge." as he flew up to the pair to catch up. Passer followed on suit thinking "I'll never understand you, master." as he took flight to catch up. As Passer landed next to his master, Aquila asked "This town, how far is it?"

Jake thought for a moment on that, "It's not to far, we should be there soon if we keep going in this direction, and from what I've heard from the other villagers that've been there, it's supposed look amazing, I think it's called Okiri village or something like that" Jake explained to Aquila, "Then after we see that for a bit, we'll head up north, I guess" Jake shrugged, then kept on his walking for quite a while, "I hope this place is as amazing as you're saying Jake, it gets boring seeing the same town for five years" Stella grumbled, which sparked Jake's memory, "Oh yeah, it was about five years ago that you first came out of the forest wasn't it?" Jake remembered, "Yeah, I think so"

"Ah, an interesting topic." Aquila said as Stella finished speaking. "My dear, your species is a very interesting one." "As for us, we are just beings of light." Passer said sarcastically. Aquila looked back at him. "Passer." He said sternly, which followed by "I apologize." "Good." Then Aquila looked at th skies as he continued. "Fairies are unlike most creatures. They have special powers. May I ask upon your abilities?" Passer then said "I havent gained any yet because I haven't fought much. Us Sky Knights get stronger as we fight, you see." "Very true, and don't worry Passer, you will learn soon enough."

Stella didn't know how to react to Aquila calling her species "Interesting" "Thanks... I think" she replied hesitantly, then thought for a moment as he asked what sort of powers she had, "I've got PSI powers, I've got PSI Fire α PSI Freeze α PSI Thunder α PSI Lifeup α, which is sort of a healing type thing, heals wounds, I have a feeling I'll be learning Healing α soon, which heals illnesses" she explained to him, suddenly Jake 's face lit up as he saw an opening in the tree's, "I SEE IT! It's right up there!" he exclaimed and took off running twords it, then closed his eyes and swept one hand twords the opening, "I present to you, the beautiful village of O-" he began to say, but cut himself off when he opened his eyes and saw the village completely destroyed, "Oh no... what happened to this place?!" he shouted in confusion, then burst into the town and saw ruined houses and fresh graves everywhere, "This is impossible, what happened!?" he asked again and looked around, and saw a single standing house off in the distance and started to make his way twords that.

And thus, it may have not been night completely, but the dark had settled in quite enough. Nathan opened his door that lied above him and walked up the stairs. He simply looked outside of the tree he had just been under and climbed outside the hole that was in front of him. He looked to the sunset as it was on the verge on dissapearing. He began to climb the tree he had just been under to look beyond the forest. There, in the far distance, lay a small town, hidden by the trees of another forest far in the distance. Nathan had noticed some of the storm hit nearby him, however he didn't know that it actually hit a village. He estimated the time it would take to travel there. An hour at least. But that wasn't the reason he would go there. He needed to see if there was a survivor, maybe he could help them. He just wanted to make sure that many lives weren't just wasted away again. He slowly jumped from tree to tree, branch to branch. He had his knives and he was ready for anything life would throw at him. Even the unexpected.

As they approached the town, Aquila spotted something upon his armour glow. "Hmm?" He pressed the sphere and a projection of another angel appeared before them. Aquila kneeled and said "Lord Apus Major!" "Aquila, Passer, your time upon the land is up. You were meant to go towards the Scarlet Shard and were forbidden to go anywhere else. Please report back to the Protectorate immediately." Aquila lowered his head in shame as he replied "Yes Lord Apus Major." Passer looked at his master's saddened face and said "We'd best head out, master." as he flew off to the heavens above. Aquila then said "Apus Major is our superior, the head of the Sky Knight's Society. We must obey his every wish. Jake, I trust you with the task at hand. And here..." He then gave him a feather of his wings. "Keep this, one day it will be useful." ( OoC: You decide it's purpose N) as he then ran and took flight after Passer towards the skies.

Jake paused to look back at the two leaving angels, and then took the feather Aquila had given him before leaving, then watched on as they flew off, "Well, that was weird" Jake commented with a shrug, Stella nodded in agreement, then Jake turned around and looked back at the one standing house, "Well, come on Stella, lets see if anyone's left, maybe they can tell us what happened here" Jake said to Stella, "Yeah, that's a good idea" Stella agreed, and they kept making their way twords the house, when they got up to it, Jake knocked on the door, "Hello? Is anyone there?" Jake asked whoever might have been in the house.

Elina opened the door, the shadows still forming pillars to support the house. "Hello, may I help you?" she said, looking them over. "If you're scavengers you can search through the wreckage if you want. If you're here to pray I set up a small cross and shrine in the square." Elina sounded slightly tired and annoyed, as if she had too much going on at that moment. "Hm....have I seen you before? You look slightly familiar." That last statement was odd though, because anyone who had visited the village before or lived there assumed that Elina was blind because she never removed that cloth from in front of her eyes.

Jake shook his head, "No, were not here for anything like that, though we probably should pray for all these people..." Jake muttered, and Stella nodded in agreement, "Well, you see, me and my friend Stella, the fairy here, we were going on the quest to find the eleven shards of legend, and we decided to come visit this town first," Jake started to explain, then paused for a moment, "No, I've never been here before, other people from my village have, we all look pretty much alike, so that may be why... they told me that this town was beautiful... did something happen to this town a while ago?" Jake asked the woman, not even questioning the fact that she could see him.

Elina turned her head to survey the wreckage and smiled sadly, before turning back to Jake and Stella. "I forsaw a flood a few weeks ago, but could not tell the rest of the village." She sounded sad but not heartbroken, as if she had seen all of this before and it was just another tragedy. "I buried who I found and made a shrine for everyone. You're the second set of visitors since this happened actually. Interesting." She placed a finger on her lips, as if thinking of something, her face mysterious as the shadows behind her. "And you're the second to talk about the shards. Very interesting." Elina then walked out of her doorway, as if she was getting closer to examine the two more easily. "Very interesting indeed. I was about to go light incense for the deceased if you wish to join me."

"Yeah, well I'd imagine people all over the world would be searching for them, not very many people know what they most desire, but they'll get it with the shards" Jake shrugged, "The people in my village don't know much about the outside world, I guess that's why I didn't know about the flood" Jake muttered quietly, suddenly deep in thought, then looked back at the woman, "Sure, I'll join you in that" Jake told her, and nodded at her, "Yes, I'll join you as well" she decided, and perched on Jake's shoulder as they waited for the woman to lead the way and start the incense burning.

As Elina walked to the shrine, taking care not to get her cloak dirty in the rubble on the streets, shadows seemed to nudge towards her as she walked by them. As she reached the shrine, she took out a set of matches and a stick of incense out of her cloak, setting it in the incense burner on the shrine and lit it, before kneeling before the shrine. She stayed silent, not speaking the prayer out loud, instead just letting her keep a moment for the dead. She slowly removed the cloth covering her eyes, and kept her eyes closed as she prayed. After a while, she replaced the cloth and raised her head, still kneeling.

Jake and Stella followed the woman to the shrine she had built in the town and knelt down with her, putting their hands together and praying along with her for all the souls that were lost to the flood, 'I wish I had known that there was a flood here earlier, at the very least I could have prayed at the church in town," Jake thought as he stayed there in silent prayer.

Far away on a remote island to the far north east, a man was lying in a bed. He tried to get up slightly, but he let out a cry of pain and fell back down, a women in the same room, with long black hair, wearing dark blue robes, gasped and ran to his side, "Sire! You musn't try to move! You're still injured greatly!" she told the man, "Damn Onslaugh! He must've been the one to rig the tablet to react like that!" he growled, and tried to slam his fist on the nightstand nearby, but again shouted in pain and recoiled, "SIRE PLEASE! Stay still and let your wound try and heal! It's a miracle you were still alive with a hole in your stomach, if you keep working yourself up like this you might end up killing yourself!" the women warned the man, "You stay still, I'll get your dinner and tea" she told the man, and got up and left the room, "You're too kind to me, Mai" the man told the women, Mai, pulling off a small smile.

Yero and Ley had long been wandering the fields of the continent, truth is they've been lost. Yero tipped his head to the side to get an eye on Ley who has been sleeping on his back in a piggy back ride fashion. He's been asleep for about an hour, he has gotten used to traveling like this. Ley's eyes cracked open, "Where are we at?"

"Same place," replied Yero who had resumed vision ahead of him.

"The city was suppose to be right around here," no matter how lost the two got Ley always thought he knew where they were.

Yero thought and moved his eyes on Ley, "Its getting late maybe we should start heading west towards the sea, maybe theres a fishing vil-," a stick struck Yero.

"No, stop talking I'm navigating. So I was thinking we should head West to find a sea-side village," Ley said proudly. Yero rolled his eyes and adjusted his direction.
