A Tournament Sub-Forum.

Since Duel Network tournaments seem to be a hot trend right now, how does the idea of adding a "Tournament" sub-section to the "Yu-Gi-Oh TCG" section sound? It would obviously have to be strictly regulated too. Given rules like "Each person can only host 1 tournament every so and so days" or "Each person can only join x amount of tournaments at a time".

Support? This is simply for organizational sake.

Uhm. I, what I really meant from what I stated was that Traditional Deck has it's own subforum, but is only used for MTG at the moment. They haven't changed the name of the Tradional Deck subforum to MTG and both traditional and advanced decks go in deck. So, if that isn't going to happen, is it unlikely that a tournament subforum would be created in TCG for organization. That is why I have no support.

Welcome to YCM, where no one can suggest an idea without a smart ass getting involved.

Welcome to YCM, where we entirely ignore the point that the original poster made.

Who knows if tournaments will still be popular in six months? A year?

As a comparison, review threads were quite popular in Fanfic some time ago, when Foe Fiction reached its peak and everyone jumped on the bandwagon. Now, it's not as popular. If there had been a Reviews sub-forum, it would be dead now, and the work that would've been put into it would be wasted.

The thing about a subforum is that it has to appeal to a large part of the member base. If it doesn't, it shouldn't exist. YGO tournaments, and fanfic reviews, are too niched to warrant its own subforum.
