Altαir
Pseudo-insurance in Yu-Gi-Oh? Cost Idol EARTH/Rock/Level 2 200 ATK/100 DEF Effect Monster While this card is in your hand, if your opponent must pay a cost(s) to activate a card effect(s), you can Special Summon this card instead. Is it useful? Link to comment
The Dark Knight
Is this supposed to stop cards that have a cost? Because the way it's worded it won't stop the effect, just the cost. So, opponent uses Solemn Warning, you use this, opponent stops your summon for nothing. Link to comment
Altαir
No, it's meant to only stop the cost. However it will stop effects if the summoning of Cost Idol negates the requirements for activation. And that's why you get to choose which cost you wish to stop, so that you don't have to Special Summon Cost Idol on cards like Solemn Warning. Link to comment
Big Bad Pennar
Cost Idol is a Quick Effect, Spell Speed 2 Warning is Spell Speed 3, thus that won't work I would not find a use for it XD Link to comment
Altαir
I was thinking of making it a Tuner. Then it could go like this: Opponent flips Trap Card/uses Monster Effect that requires cost. You Special Summon Cost Idol. If it's during your opponent's turn, Urgent Tuning is your friend? During your turn, you get a free Level 1 Tuner on the field. And all you had to do was negate a cost. But your right, Flandre, >.> maybe it isn't so useful as it stands. Link to comment
