Dark
nice refresher from modern day crap ...how is modern-day crap a refresher from modern-day crap? To answer your question in an unbiased fashion, however, yes - it is socially acceptable to listen to Owl City all day, regardless of your gender. This is because Owl City is a very mainstream band, and the general population likes mainstream music. If the majority of a group of people like something, it becomes okay to listen to it, regardless of how it wouldn't be okay if the majority didn't like it. CinnamonStar
On another site, a girl made a thread about it. Something like "what songs do you just love, but are really ashamed to tell people about?" And you had some really not-so-accepted things, a lot of silly German party songs, "Schlager" music, Britney Spears, it was really funny. So meh, I don't think it's accepted by people, but as said above, we all have guilty pleasures.
blaze.
Owl City is amazing, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I like him more now because hes gone less mainstream and more into the kind of stuff I like ^^

Yeah but anyways Owl City is so good. I listened to Fireflies way before the song hit up mainstream. I had the deluxe version of Ocean Eyes but then my ipod got ruined so now I don't have it. But I always loved If My Heart Was A House Butterfly Wings On The Wing Vanilla Twilight Fireflies But my favorite song by him was Panda Bear It's so beautiful to listen to his music

I'll give it a shot. Sadly, I started listening when Fireflies got on the radio and the music video boomed and all that, but fireflies was never my favorite. It's a good song, don't get me wrong, but, from Ocean Eyes, I'd rather listen to Vanilla Twilight or Cave In. But when ATBaB released, oh kiss my tiny social life good-by. There was a time, I'm still not to proud to admit, when I would literally listen to it for HOURS. literally. I became addicted to Owl City because of the songs depth and feeling. I fell in love with way every song relates to my life in one way or another. So... What's your favorite song by Owl City? Mine's tie between Vanilla Twilight ( I know, how original.), Angels, and Lonely Lullaby.
Nɇvɇrmorɇ
My favorite tracks (since I can't just pick one) are probably Lonely Lullaby, Hospital Flowers, Tip of the Iceberg, Vanilla Twilight, and Fuzzy Blue Lights.
