Ghoulish
Dawn had thought the eel had slithered past him but it caught him with his tail. Apparently they weren't just big, they actually had a brain, Dawn slowly got to one knee as Koon approached defending him and asking him if he was okay. Dawn panted and grinded his teeth as he got to his feet and brushed the dust off his pants. "I'm fine. These creatures aren't just strong, they're adapted to these caverns they must know the area like the back of their tails." Dawn took out his White Yin Blade and put it over his right shoulder. "I doubt even yang can harm these things, guess team work would be best." He turned to Koon and Noah. "Shall we go?"
Hotaru987
Shuski jumped back in shock when the steel eel came out and Rex was hit straight on, the eel sinking it's teeth deep into Rex's flesh. 'Damn that idiot! He would have been perfect for crowed control later on in the tower if it came to it.' Shuski thought seeing Rex being dropped to the floor. Kei and Jinsei kept walking seemingly not bothered by the fact that Rex was taken out of the test. "H-hey! W-wait for me!" He called out running to catch up to them. Shuski placed his hands in his pockets and grabbed the small, thin disk-like object in either of his pocket.
Dwarven King
Firie looked around at his team, then looked towards the caverns at the other teams, or the ones he could see. It seemed like everyone was trying to take the tags by brute force alone...and failing. "Very well, I will agree to taking on this "bonus". Under one condition though. As you can see, brute force is obviously failing here. If we do this "bonus", I request that we do one of the many plans that have been coming to mind. They are relatively safer than any head on attacks. And, if that's not enough, I will take on the more dangerous roles if need be." Firie then took a step towards the entrance and waited for his team to respond.
Final Fantasy Revolution
Huake was the first to take up Firies offer and walked towards him and stood next to him. "Yeah yeah, sure. Let's just win this so we can advance on, huh?" Shade said, walking over to Firie and than standing next to him on the opposite side of Firie. "Come on Rayu, we're the last team to enter the caves so we'll need to make our way through faster so we can catch up now." Shade said and than continued to wait with the others for Rayu to start walking with them. ~~~ "The way I see it, these eels already know what we want, so the steel eel we need is probably in the end of the cave." Jisan said. continuing to walk, pushing his team into a crevice, a steel eel just passing them as they did with no tag. "It's best we hug the wall until we get there." Jisan explained, going on to walk towards the end, at least this is the way he thinks it is. ~~~ The steel eel was the same species as all the others within the cave system, but it was noticeably bigger than any other of the steel eels within the cave. It laid in the middle of the cavern, pretending to sleep with the brown tag around it's neck, waiting for a poor sucker to try and grab it. Hotaru987
Rayu sighed and followed behind the group. "Hey, I suggest we don't even worry about the eels in the beginning. The one we're looking for is no doubtedly at the end of all this crap." She said on lookout for any steel eels that may come out of no where. Rayu ran with her weapon parallel to the floor, and ready to use at a moment's notice. ~~~~~~~ Shuski nodded and stayed close to the wall. He looked behind him, creating a mental map just in case they did get lost, and ended up going in circles. Due to his rather skinny body he was able to easily slip into and pass through the crevis. 'If we can get to that eel with the tag on it first we may have a chance. Using my steel disk I could scrape them together to create a noise that would disorientate the eel. With Jisan's strength he can stun the eel long enough for Kei to use his speed to grab the tag.' Shuski thought trying to come up with a plan of action once they reached the Steel eel with the tag. Ooc: Do we control the eels for wait for one of you guys to bring one in? Dwarven King
Firie took off with Rayu at a stead speed with Huake and Shade right behind him. "Ok, so here is the plan. As you may have noticed, all of these eels are relatively the same size. No doubt the tag is on the biggest one, and that eel is probably laying in wait somewhere. So what we do is finding the one that is much bigger than the rest and bypass these eels. That's the first part. The next part is to NOT get engaged with the big beast. Instead, we set up an ambush. Maybe have one of us on higher ground. That's the second part. The third part is a bit tricky. We can either wait for another team to come around and distract it, or one of us gets it's attention and lead it into our ambush. If it's the latter, I'll be the decoy if need be. Then, the next step is have whoever is on the higher ground drop down onto the eel and retrieve the tag. Once the tag has been retrieved, we do the most crucial and final step of my plan. We run like hell." Firie glanced around at his teammates. "Any questions?"
