[color=#000080][i]Pricks, I probably had a harder test than them. They're such idiots,[/i][/color] she thought to herself. [i][color=#000080]I wonder what the other Regulars are like. Doesn't hurt to make a few friends before the Position test later on.[/color][/i] Koon walked away from the rest of the group, still holding onto her briefcase, never letting it go. ----------------------------------------------------------- Kina was scowling at everyone, twirling her playing card inbetween her fingers absentmindedly. [color=#008080]"You should stop that, you're making the other Regulars nervous," [/color]Shuran said without emotion. [color=#800000]"I'll do what I want, prick,"[/color] Kina replied, resisting the urge to try and attack Shuran. [color=#800000]"And why do you care?"[/color][color=#008080] "I don't. Jisan looked at his team composed of Kei and Shuski. "I wish that guy would have died with that first punch..." Jisan said to himself and than got up from his seated position. He walked about the resting room looking at some of the other groups. [i]No one here really sticks out, no one except for...[/i] He thought but was cut off when he bumped into a woman with a briefcase. "Well well, if it isn't the member of the Koon family everyone has been talking about. I imagine your test went well considering your alive and all." Jisan said and than looked around the room. He had ten minutes and three partners so he was sure at least one of them would be able to figure it out. He'd only bother to help if they were at one minute left. That is, if he remembered the answer or even really bothered to listen to it. A sweat drop rolled down his head as he heard Koon answer and actually manage to get it right. "No answer? What kind of riddle is that...?" He hadn't actually bothered to listen to the riddle so he was serious in his question. "Good thing we have Koon here." A bit after entering into the next room he fell to the ground where his group had stopped. "Rest, eh? Basically, do nothing time. Works for me." Hearing the others around complain about Koon he sighed. "[i]If she's the daughter of a guy who had actually made it through all the floors then wouldn't it make more sense to assume she'd be given harder challenges than simpler ones? Something like a riddle that doesn't actually have an answer? Would that make the rest of the floors even more difficult for me?[/i]" He stretched his limbs. "What a hassle!" Ghoulish Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 Dawn walked to the other side of the room and leaned against a wall with his arms folded and eyes closed, he figured since no one would interact he may as well be alone with his thou- [color=#4b0082][i]"I'm still here..."[/i][/color] Dawn opened his eyes quickly, he had heard that voice before, he knew what it was, where it was, it was getting stronger, more hungry for the thrill of battle. Noticably his black "Yang" blade that continued remaiing crossed with his white blade on his back began glowing slightly. It was invisible to the eye however as it was pressed against the wall and Dawn's back, noticably Dawn was experiencing some pain, he tried his best to hide it although slight signs from his face could be seen. Dawn closed his eyes trying to mask awa the pain. As the blade dimmed so did the pain. Dawn returned to normal and began his own style of training, "Eliminiating a Sense", this was where he would try to picture where people were, who they were and what they were doing with his eyes closed, it was a tough excersise that required complete concentration. Darius, confused at the situation, walked over to Kina and stood next to her. He didn't make a sound, yet he hoped his patience would be suitable enough for the time. He didn't evn look at her, he just gave a sharp stare into the eyes of a Regular who so much as looked at Kina. Then he finally spoke "I never would have guessed such a fiery person like yourself could be attributed as Princess KIna of Jahad." The he took a deep breath as he continued. "I don't know why you are like the way you are, but I don't condemn it. Everyone is unqiue and special, and if it wasn't for your passionate and raging fire within, you'd be just as dull as the rest of these Regulars." "Congratulations, you've passed this leg of the test." A door on the far side of the room slid open to reveal yet another room. "You can no proceed into the next room for a brief rest period and to talk amongst yourselves." Myto said, sitting back down, getting ready for another cigarette. "Dang, looks like we found the smarts of the group." Kazeem said. "And I'm the strength, Rotan is the chick, Q is the comic relief!" Kazeem said, Q brushing it off like he did most things. "Anyway, good stuff back there guy." He was referring Ka solving the riddle as they all walked towards the door. The riddle test was finally over, what started off as thirty plus teams was now reduced down to a mere fifteen teams; cutting the number by more than half! All the teams were now waiting in the next room for the second test, resting and taking it easy as to prepare for anything that might come their way... He took a drag and blew smoke out of his mouth, it wasn't intentional but it did happen. "Apologies." He started simply, to the woman who just got smoke in her face. "I do believe this is not an appropriate time for tag, with all do respect may I suggest something a little more, creative." Myto said and than took another drag of his cigarette, but blew the smoke away from the group. "And of course something a bit more dangerous..." Myto suggested. [color=#ff0000]"Oi, I just wanna test and train these punks and get it over with. I don't know why I didn't get my own floor when I had the chance."[/color] A man with blue pants, black long sleeve undershirt and a short sleeve blue button down shirt over it so you could still see plent of the undershirt. The shirt said "Top Angler" on it. ~~~ Jisan, after being completely ignored by Koon, watched as she walked over to Shuski and started talking to him. "Oh well, guess I'll find something else to do. Some turned in the direction of the voice to see Lero-ro standing in front of a door. "Hello Regulars! [/color]"No. It works along the same lines though, Miss Koon. All will be explained later but you should know that this test isn't a requirement. My name is Ka."[/color] He thought for a moment- If he wanted to use these people to his full potential, he would have to gain their trust. Ka smiled. [color=#0000cd]"I'm sure that together, we can get through this tower with no problems whatsoever."[/color] He glanced over at the other teams - Most were in a state of fear, probably due to the thoughts of what might happen in the next test. He heard the loud voice say that there would be a "bonus" test, and he thought this would be the perfect chance to see what his allies had to offer. He said to Lero-ro, who merely stepped back and then Alza turned to the ground. "Listen here maggots." He suddenly shouted to all the regulars, most definitely getting their attention; either by interest or insult. "I'm not going to tell you my name, most of you will be dead after this anyway. We're going to be having a nice quaint bonus game where the victor gets to instantly move on to the next round. Please come up here if you'd like to participate." Alza said, still loud enough so all of the regulars could hear him. ~~~ Within another room of the tower. "I understand you want to converse with me, Yu." Myto said, smoking a cigarette as he always does... ~~~ Jisan waled over to where Shuski and Kei were and grabbed him and easily picked up his light framed body. "Come on Shuski, we're doing this." Jisan said and then turned to Rex. "Grab Kei." Rex easily picked up Kei and the team made their way to the front so that they could enter the bonus game. ~~~ "Ka wants to do the bonus game, second it." Kazeem said. "Third." Rotan said. "Oh come on, that's unfair as hell!" Q responded, but was never the less dragged by Kazeem and Rotan to the front and they waited for Ka to follow. ~~~ Mike jumped to his feet. "Let's do this you bunch of lazy punks!" Mike said, making his way to the front. "Is it really good for the weakest of the group to be so...enthusiastic about this." Metsu asked Sykes and Hal. "Least we don't have to drag him." Sykes said in reference to the group with Q in it. "True, come on Hal." Metsu suggested they do the bonus game... ~~~ "Seems as if there is a bonus game this time." Shade said, turning to Huake, Firie, and Rayu. "Whats say you?" Shade announced to the group charismatically. Huake merely shrugged and than turned to Firie and Rayu. He had heard of this bomnus game only just recently and was willing to participate, although his main objective was to climb th tower and this was risky as you could die, plus it wasn't a nessecity, he stil wanted to have fun, not so much inkilling but in at least just fighting. Without the slightest hint of intimidation he made his way to Lero-ro he needed to use his black Yang blade soon, the pain he was experiening was slowly getting worse. The promise of one person or team being able to proceed to the next round instantly was too good to pass up, especially if this so-called 'bonus game' would turn out to become easier than he thought it would be. Now all he needed to do is entice the others. After all, the sooner he could finish climbing the tower, the sooner he would get to see his family again. "To win this bonus game, all you have to do is grab the tag that looks like this." Alza held up a brown tag with letters on it that said "winner". "And bring it back to the starting point." All were shocked, was it really that easy? "Oh and you'll be looking for the tag in here." Alza said, knocking slightly on the back wall to reveal a huge dark system of caves that the regulars would have to navigate through to find the tag. "There's no map, if you get lost, that's on you." Alza said and than a huge roar came out from the cave system. "Coincidentally, this also the home of some steel eels that happen to not like visitors at all. Another coincidence is that the tag seems to be behind of the eels necks, just by pure luck of course, the tag used to be on a stone table down there but I guess one of the steel eels took a liking to it..." Alza said, giving a look on his face like it was all complete bull crap. "I honestly can't fathom while their all still standing here, can you." Alza said to Lero-ro. Some teams started moving immediately, wanting to be the first to get in there so they could win. Rex asked... ooc: I'm playing MKS' character just for decision making because he's going to be offline for a week or something like that. ~~~ "Let's go!" Rotan said and started running in right after the other groups that started. "Heh, can't say I didn't choose her fer my team." Kazeem said and then started walking towards where Rotan was running to. "Dammit, this has become one big hassle, teaming up with you three..." Q said and than started walking right behind Kazeem. "Let's go Ka." Q said, the group already heading in... ~~~ "Come on, we're freaking losing now!" Mike said ambitiously and started running in as well. "H-hey!" Meitsu called, running after him cause he was the weakest of the group. "How did cool guys like us wind up with them, eh?" Sykes said to Hal and started walking to where Meitsu had apprehended Mike. ~~~ "I do believe that's the call to start, so, shall we?" Shade said, speaking to Huake, Firrie, and Rayu. Huake simply walked to Shade's side of the group so they'd know he was in. ~~~ Myto took another drag on his cigarette and put it out on the inside of his robe. "I see. I assure you that those who will pass in my class will be the ones that deserve it, and it will only be decided by myself." Myto said, and started to walk into out of the room and was headed for his resting quarters. "I trust you'll respect my decision and not do anything...rash..." Myto said, than finally left the room. If one of these Eels comes even remotely close to us, say something."[/color] He drew his blade. [color=#0000cd]"Now, we are going to need some light. Since this cave is naturally dark, the light may disorient the Eels, making for an easier kill."[/color] He thought for a moment- where would they get something that generates enough light to keep the Eels at bay? Nothing more... and nothing less."[/color] As if in an attempt to prove him wrong, several Steel Eels were on him in a matter of seconds. He retaliated instantly, firing an equal number of shinsoo energy spheres from his flamberge, which felled the lot of them in a matter of seconds. Revenova trudged on deeper into the heart of the caverns, without even checking if the Steel Eels were actually killed or merely stunned, or checking if the brown tag was on any of them. However, he'd be a fool to expect the tag to be found that quickly... he knew that better than he knew the back of his hand. He shook his head as he proceeded into the caverns. [color=#800000]"Like I said, just a matter of searching for the right one,"[/color] Revenova repeated to himself. He travelled alone for now. My n-name is Shuski Naruse." [/color]He said and offered a slightly nervous smile, [color=#0000CD]"You're L-linea. O-of the Koon royal family, yes?" [/color]He questioned back. Though before the conversation could continue the next Regular came out named Azla, and he was proposing a Bonus Game. Shuski, was all in for doing the challenge, until he heard what they had to do and get past. [i][color=#0000CD]'With Rex and that guy we could probably handle the eels, and that Kai guy looked pretty strong. So ma-[/color]' [/i] [color=#0000CD]"Hey!"[/color] Shuski yelled when he was suddenly picked up and placed on Rex's shoulder, [color=#0000CD]"I am not a rag doll you know!" [/color]He said and then paled, "[color=#0000CD]And what do you mean we;re doing this?! D-don't you think we should think this through!?"[/color] He asked. As the rest of his team seemed to be up for this, Shuski sighed,[color=#0000CD] "Fine, but we'll beed to hurry so that we can recover the ground that we lost." [/color]He said, and waited for his team to move before going in as well. He wouldn't do so well at the front, or in the back so Shuski made sure to position himself in the middle. [color=#0000CD]"Hey mister. You never did give me your name."[/color] He said reffering to Jisan. Rayu wasn't up for the bonus game. She only saw it as something that she didn't have to do, and that could possibly kill her and stop her from reaching the top of the tower. Shade and Haure were up for the challenge but Rayu was still hesitant. [color=#4B0082]"I don't see the benefit in it. I could die doing that and I really don't want to take that risk."[/color] She said, but she didn't want to be the one to stop the others from trying. Rayu scratched the back of her head, [color=#4B0082]"But...I guess..I'll go, if it's a unanimous decision[/color]." She said and then waited for Firrie to say "yes" or "no". After seeing Revenova and a few others walk through the caves, Dawn didn't bother waiting for Koon or Noah, he proceeded into the cave being weary of any object that may come in his way. Upon walking in it grew dark. Dawn suddenly put his back to the wall upon approaching a "t" intersection of the caves, noticably a large steel eel slithered through horizontally. As it passed Dawn exhaled a sigh of releif, he'd be a fool to try to take on a steel eel in this crowded area. Dawn then dashed through the tunnel. Q said, all of the group walking around a the same speed now, rounding a corner only to come face to face with a steel eel. "Huh..." Q said and than they all turned around and quickly ran away from it, only to escape it by making a sharp left. As soon as it past Rotan peeked out and saw it had no brown tag on it. "I wonder how many of these eels there are here? Enough to make it difficult I guess..." Rotan said to the group, Kazeem sighing shortly after. "I think we should just take out the other teams right now, not kill them, just do enough to take them out of [i]this[/i] test. If we advance now we won't have to stay here for god knows how long." Kazeem said to the group. "That's not a bad idea." Q said, for once being braver than his initial entry suggested. "You to are both crazy! Tell them their crazy, Ka!" Rotan said, waiting for Ka to back her up. ~~~ "Jisan." The mysterious man said, who up until this point had yet to be named to any of the group. "I really can't say how we'll do against these steel eels, best to just avoid them for now." Rex scuffed at the idea. "Rex Trysaurus avoids nothing!" He said, and marched ahead of Jisan so he could lead the party. "In fact, Rex is leading this tag search!" Rex said, as soon as he walked into another part of the cave system a steel eel came out of nowhere and slammed it's jaw straight into Rex. "Gah!" Rex screamed as he was plowed into a section of the rock wall of the cave, the eel's teeth were sunken deep into his body. "I told you this wasn't going to easy." "Remember what I said when we first met, you can follow me where I go, but I'm not offering you anything. This is merely a story of a lonely pup following someone down the street." Jisan said to Shuski, relating that he was the lonely pup, the steel eel was shaking off the stun it received from slamming itself into the rock wall and Jisan and Kei were walking away and getting further, Shuski had to make a decision.... [color=#000080]"We need to stick together!" [/color]After she said that, a steel eel rushed out of a side tunnel, side-swiping Dawn and knocking him back. Koon then ran up to him, opening up the mouth of her briefcase a few weapons shooting out from it to strike the steel eel. One weapon lodged into the side slightly, barely cutting it and it screeched, moving away slowly, though not in pain, just in annoyance. [color=#000080]"Dawn! Are you okay!"[/color] ---------------------------------------------------------------- [color=#800000]"Filthy creatures,"[/color] Kina said to herself, shooting past the other teams, hoping to reach the tag before anyone else. Shuran was running after her, hoping to keep up but was slowly behind. [color=#008080]"Bloody princess. As one group of Regulars moved towards another corner of tunnels, a steel eel surged past, grabbing one and dragging screaming off into the darkness. "[i]Well it's just extra work and a bonus game to get us out of here quickly. And honestly I rather avoid those giant eel things. Dying isn't part of my plans.[/i]" He facepalmed seeing a few members of his group rush in. "What a hassle..." He jumped up onto his feet and ran after Dawn and Koon. This was the most work that had been seen fom him. He quickly caught up to the two and stopped. "Geez you two. This is a bonus game and with how many of us there are they might just be trying to thin us out. It's only a bigger hassle to have to do this. And now that you guys decided to walk in here I pretty much have to." Noah looked around for a second. "Where's that crocodile guy anyway?" He let out a quick sigh. "Doesn't matter.
