He began twirling the flamberge along the ground, obviously bored from the lack of general activity going around this floor. He could go on to fight and maim another regular, but that would disqualify him from climbing the tower, a fate he couldn't afford. Revenova had to climb the tower: it was the only place he hadn't looked for a special artefact that could revive his lost wife and children, who had been slain by a traitor of the tribe. He'd been after it for the last 10,000 years, but hasn't been able to find it just yet. However, if that artefact was to be anywhere in the tower, it would be at the very top. After all, if Revenova truly didn't want something to be found, that's where he'd put it. He smirked, as he reassured himself in his mind that he would conquer this tower and claim his just reward in his family back... if it was the very last thing he'd do.

[color=#000080]"From a death match to an alliance."[/color] Dawn turned to face the girl.[color=#000080][i] "Did she somehow know? Who is she? I doubt that big crocodile thing had a clue. But a team of 4, and with only a little time, I guess it can't be helped." [/i][/color]Dawn began walking to the others. [color=#000080]"I don't like it either, but if doing something this simple will get me closer to the top, then I won't argue." [/color][color=#000000]Dawn began walking to the other 3 with his white blade resting over his right shoulder. The count had dropped quite quickly to 200 from 500, but dawn still only had a few in his mind that he would actually want to fight, not that revonova, he appeared to not like to fight strong people, but this girl despite her appearance sparked Dawn's interest, but for now he would wait.[/color]

The dinosaur sat up so he was sitting on his butt and his tail fell to the ground. "Oi, sorry for that, I was just panicked at the task and just started to kill anyone. Although if you hadn't stopped me I probably wouldn't be apologizing." The dinosaur said as he tried to get up but was still quite stunned from his assailants punch. "Well, guess this guy will be joining our team; he seems quite reasonable after you get past his anger." He said to Shuski and than looked around. "Can you see anyone else, we need a fourth." He said to Shuski and the dinosaur, as they all started to look around.

Before Kry knew it a new test has been issued. He really did not care to team up with other because he knew that there could only be one person to reach the top of the tower. Kry glared at Dawn and released a low growl, it was clear that he did not trust the human. Kry placed his weapon back onto his back , he turned and looked over the girl once again. It was strange but as he looked at her, he was reminded of Cisna. He knew the only reason he was climbing this tower in the first place was to save Cisna. Maybe it was the fact that he missed Cisna, but he nodded his head to the women's request. He saw that she held out her hand for a handshake but he was unfimilar with the gesture. Kry kneeled down and placed his face right infront of Koon. Kry's breathing caused the girls hair to move back and forth. He growled a bit but soon returned to his normal stance.

He spoke only a few words but he planed on being a loyal teamate for aslong as he had to be.

Kei had entered the test without a word, just standing in the back of the crowd as he looked around,[color=#0000cd][b] "Hmm... Five hundred huh?" [/b][/color]He said to himself... He was rather uncomfortable in his Human form... However he was used to it at this point. Once the test began Kei had grabbed his dual Kusarigama and smiled a wicked smile, [color=#0000cd][b]"Who's first?"[/b][/color] He thought watching the people surrounding him as they eyed him like a giant target, [color=#0000cd][b]"Oh... Very well then..."[/b][/color] Kei suddenly vanished into a white puff of air. The group of people around him were confused but were cut down quickly, each of them fell and Kei appeared behind all of them, [color=#0000cd][b]"Too... Easy..."[/b][/color] He was however cut of by a Lyncanthrope however he blocked it quickly by tying its claws together with his chains from his Kusarigamas and swung the Lyncanthrope around knocking over more enimes and threw the Lyncanthrope to the wall where it collapsed.

After the death match was over, Kei continued to survey the area and found a red-haired young man, [color=#0000cd][i]"Hmm... What's he doing with those two? Well maybe I should introduce myself?"[/i][/color] He thought with a smile as he disappeared into a puff of white smoke again and re-appeared behind the Red haired man, [color=#0000cd][b]"Excuse me..."[/b][/color] He said tapping his shoulder, [color=#0000cd][b]"You seem to be looking for someone... I'm Kei Ishida... Pleasure."[/b][/color] He said bobbing his head a bit.

Noah sat up and rubbed his eyes after the gong-like sound had rang over the field. "Awwwe...over already? I was having such a nice nap too..." After hearing the next challenge he smiled. "Group of four. That's so much less work for me." Noah quickly looked around him to get a good idea of who was left. "I wonder if Koon is okay..." It didn't take long for him to find her since the crocodile guy she was with stuck out like a sore thumb. A second after noticing her she seemed to motion for him to get over there. He stood up and stretched a little before walking over to Koon only to fall back to the ground. "Wake me up when we're at the top..."

Firie was a bit disappointed at the new test. He really didn't want to be forced to find allies in such short time. At any rate, he had to do what was needed. But who? That's when the image of the girl he decided not to kill came to mind. "Now where did she run off too?" he said out loud. He began surveying the scene hoping to spot her. All around, enemies were sheathing their weapons and shaking hands. Quickly making peace with each other while keeping a hand on their weapons. Finally, he spotted her not to far off. He quickly made his way over to her and spoke up. "Girl. It seems we are tasked with making friends. Care for an alliance?"

Dawn returned the glare from the crocodile like creature,[color=#000080] "Hopefully it will only be for one test." [/color]Dawn stated as he returned his white blade into his back.[color=#000080] "I'm Dawn by the way."[/color] Dawn folded his arms and turned to the girl and the crocodile.[color=#000080] "What do they call you 3? Please don't get me mistaken, as soon as we depart from being in a team I won't hesitate to eliminate any of you."[/color] Dawn then smiled lightly. [color=#000080]"Hmph. But then again you 3 don't look like ones to be intimidated by a mere threat, so until then, let's just do what we have to do."[/color]

Rayu was relieved when the announcement that the first round was over, but then she was told that they had to make a team with 3 other people. To say she was surprised would be an understatement. There are still at least 200 people still fighting, but in order to pass the next test they would have to become friends with the very people they were trying to kill. She looked at the staff in her right hand and sighed. [color=#4B0082]"I want to believe that the rest of the levels will be easier but...If this was only the first test then the other levels are probably going to be even less humane." [/color]Rayu closed her eyes, [color=#4B0082]"But even so...Knowing that even more will die doesn't bother me..."[/color] Rayu turned around when she sensed someone coming closer, and saw that it was the man she had tried to avoid earlier. [color=#4B0082]"Oh um...I suppose....It isn't as though we have much of a choice do we?"[/color] Rayu said smiling invintingly at the tall man. [color=#4B0082]"My name is Rayu."[/color] She held out her hand in a friendly jesture.

Hearing that the next part of the test would be to make allies, Shuski knew it was a good idea to look for others to add to his team. He looked at the man who allowed him to tag along, and ultimately saved him twice, then looked at the large dinosaur creature. Between those two their team is pretty decent. The Dinosaur had size, and obviously power but when it came to speed he would not be very advantageous. As was proven earlier when he couldn't even stop his charge. He could accidentally run into one of them if he wasn't careful. The man whos been helping Shuski had both speed and power. A dangerous adversary in close combat. Not many would be able to stand up against him.

All they needed was one more member, which was suddenly provided when another guy appeared behind the mysterious man. He introduced himself as Kei Ishida. [color=#0000CD]"W-well...I-i guess w-we're good...To g-go right?"[/color] Shuski asked once again fixing his glasses.

The man swung around swiftly and was about to punch the guy tapping him on the shoulder right in the side but he stopped when he realized the guy was just trying to team up with them. "Heh, yeah, I suppose we are looking for a fourth." He said, returning to a regular, calm, standing position. "This guy." He pointed to the dinosaur. "What's his face." He pointed to the man who just showed up. "And Shuski over there." He pointed to the boy with glasses he had meant earlier. "A team of strangers, the perfect team in my book." He said, and than leaned on the dinosaur. "Pocket, Visible, Than, Timer mode." He said, and a small black spherical thing came out of nowhere and showed only one and a half minutes left to find comrades. "Invisible Mode." The thing disappeared and he looked up to the others. "Well are you gonna lean on this dino or what." Probably the oddest thing anyone has stated to anyone before...

"Greetings." A man said, two figures approaching the two who were about to shake hands and make an alliance. "We seem to be able to help each other out, both of out groups only being half a team and all." The man speaking was wearing a dark black cloak whit a white mask and had a bow draped over his shoulder showing he was an archer. The man beside him was wearing the exact same cloths but seemed to have no weapon. "My name is Shade, this is Huake; he doesn't speak though." Shade said, and wondered about their alliance...

Firie acknowledged Rayu's greeting, but did not shake her hand. Before he could say anything though, two others approached them. The two newcomers quickly offered an alliance with Rayu and himself. He saw no reason to deny them as they had very little time left. "Very well then. We will accept your offer. But only because we have no other choice due to time. That reminds me, my name is Firie. I don't care what your reasons for climbing the tower, so don't try telling me for sympathy. And with that, I wish you all good luck."

Rayu shrugged when her hand shake was blown off, and then turned to the two new people. One seemed to be an archer anmed Shade, and the other didn't have a weapon so Rayu assumed he was a close combat fighter. His name was Huake, though Shade was the one to tell them since Huake apparently doesn't talk. [color=#4B0082]"It's nice to meet you both. My name is Rayu. Well...I guess we should all grab hold of each other so we can be recognized as a team then[/color]." She placed her hand out in the middle of the group, her smile ever present on her face.

Shuski shyly and hesitantly made his way over to the Dino. He placed a hand on the Dino's leg, and in a sudden exhale of breathe he relaxed. While he knew he had nothting to worry about, since the Dino needed them just as much as they needed him, he wanted to keep up the facade as the hesitant boy. It was good for keeping him under the radar until the time was right and he could show them what he could really do.

"Keh, punk..." Shade said to Firie and than put his hand on top of Rayu's and than Huake than was about to his hand on top of Shade but Shade speaking up made him stop. "Er, maybe I should just grab your[i] [/i]shoulder buddy..." Huake put his hand down to his side and shade grabbed onto Huake's shoulder. [i]Huake's powers are still shaky, best not to risk the alliance...[/i] Shade thought to himself and than he waited for Firie to place his hand in the center of the group with everyone else...

Kei was a little thrown back by the group, [color=#0000cd][i]"What? No organization? Just four random people? Does he even know any of their capabilities? Tch, humans.... Pathetic." [/i][/color]Kei thought before going to the Dinosaur and simply leaned on him without a question. He knew what was going to happen, he's seen it plenty of times.[color=#0000cd][b] "I'm sorry but I never caught any of your names."[/b][/color] Kei said looking at the rest of the group. He figured if he was going to team up with people, he might as well learn their names... Simple right?

A gong-like sound sounded again over the field, followed closely by the same voice. "Thank you Regulars! Your time is up! But since I'm generous, you all have 15 seconds to hold onto your teammates before you're disqualified and not teleported to the next area. Try not to move too much once you're in contact with your teammates. We wouldn't want anything wrong to happen in transit. See you soon!"

Koon quickly grabbed ahold of Noah and Dawn, backing up against Kry so they would all be in contact for the transition, sighing to herself. [color=#000080][i]I hope the rest of the tests are different. I'd hate to not have a challenge because of my dad's stories.[/i][/color]

Kina reluctantly touched Revenova and Darius on the shoulders, acting as if it was the hardest thing she'd ever had to do. Shuran put his hand on Darius' other shoulder, making sure not to glance at Kina too much as she was glaring at him quite a bit.

As the last groups finally got together, another gong sounded. Some of the regulars were left stranded in the field, some cussing at each other because they hadn't been able to grab each other in time while others just sat there crying, knowing they could not climb any farther. A purple light enveloped all of the groups of regulars, and soon, before they knew it, they were in a large room, with several other groups of regulars. There must have been just over a hundred of them, all talking to each other. There were a few groups yelling at each other though, still upset about the fights. Suddenly a door opened out of the wall and a man walked through. "Hello, my name is Lero-ro. No fighting outside of the designated times, please."

"Hmph. Introductions, not what I need, my time is precious." Darius said under his breath, eager for this "host", if he could so be called, to finish a speach that Darius was expecting. His eyes never left the man and he moved the hands on his shoulders off him, not liking to be touched. "Keep your distance, for all any of you know I could be your greatest foe. I don't like being touched, and fine it was necesary then, but when it isn't give me my space." All this time his glare didn't leave off of Lero-ro, finding the man very strange. But suddenly, his glare turned from the man to the room. He felt...he felt he'd been there before...as if i was familiar to him. 'Wha-why does this all seem familiar to me?' he thought to himself. How was this possible? The first thing he remembered was meeting Corona, he had never set foot in this Tower before.

Firie had placed his hand on top of the others just before the purple light enveloped them. Once they appeared, Firie immediately removed his hand and began surveying the surrounding area. There really wasn't much to noticed except the multiple groups scattered about. Of course, he didn't have long to look for a man appeared through a door. He called himself Lero-ro. [i]"Well, I suppose I can only sit here and wait for him to administer the next test."[/i]

As soon as Shuski and the others were transported to the next part of the test he began looking around seeing how the competition was shaping up to be. For the most part a lot of the people didn't look to noteworthy, but as he continued to look he got bad feelings from a few of the other competitors. He made a mental note to watch out for those people. [color=#0000CD]"Im surprised....Th-that so many people were able to p-put aside th-there hatred...I-in so quick a t-time."[/color] Shuski stated before turning to his team.

Rayu looked around, [color=#4B0082]"Wow, there are still so many people here! I hope this doesn't hurt my chances at getting to the top."[/color] She said, more so to herself. She looked at her team and figured that they should watch each others backs considering that they are allies now. A new guy, named Mr. Lero-ro appeared welcoming them to the next test.

Shuski looked up, his eyes widening, [color=#0000CD]"Mr. Lero-ro? Wow...I never thought I would actually meet one of them."[/color] He said. He was always told of the Rankers in the tower, but to actually be near one was pretty awesome.

"Well, I guess you are all wondering what the next test will be right? I'll get right to it though. All you have to do is leave this room through the door behind me," Lero-ro said, smiling nicely. There seemed to be more than just that, especially when Koon raised her hand to get the Ranker's attention and asked [color=#000080]"That's it? I assumed there would be a shinsoo barrier, Mr. Lero-ro."[/color]


"Ah, you must be the new Koon. I know your father quite well actually." [color=#000080]"Yeah, I know you do. And he told me how he climbed the tower."[/color] "Well, Miss Koon is correct there is a shinsoo component of some sort, but you'll see when you get closer to the door."

Kina was feeling especially confident and started to walk towards the door at a fast walk but started slowing down before reaching the door, breathing heavily.[color=#800000] "Damned tests,"[/color] she muttered to herself, pushing her way forward, barely making it through the door, sweating horribly. "Ah, Miss Kina has made it through. Good luck to the rest of you. Also, if one member of your team can't make it through to the doorway, you will be disqualified from any further testing."

Shuran then made his way forward, Koon deciding to watch the other groups first. Shuran also had troubles and a few yards before the doorway he started to bleed from his ears, one hand pushed against his head as if a major headache plagued him.

Only those with an affinity of 1000 or more will feel it but not be affected in any other way, and not have to expend effort. Rayu was intrigued by the test, and more so by the word shinsoo. It wasn't something she was familiar with, but to everyone else around her it appeared to be common knowladge. She decided to wait for a bit. A girl was the first to attempt the test. She had a bit of trouble, but from what still confused Rayu. "Welll...I guess I should just go." Rayu took her time walking to the door but as she got closer to the door....Nothing happened. There wasn't much difficulty getting there but - she turned around - some of the others looked to be in pain. She hoped her team would have an easy time crossng as well. Rayu continued through the door and face the other girl there. "Can I ask you something? What's this shinsoo thing Mr. Lero-ro was talking about?"

Shuski frowned. This was going to be difficult. He just hoped he would be able to get through this test and not be the reason for his team losing. With a deep breath he too joined the others in walking to the door. Not even a 3rd of the way there and he was already finding himself struggle. "D-damn.." He grunted fightng to keep moving. The pressure on his body was almost too much, and he only reached the halfway mark. His head felt ready to explode and there was a constant ringging in his ears. Shuski felt them and there was a wetness. "But I still can't give up." Shuski said falling to his knees. He couldn't move, it was too much.....But none of his questions were answered yet. And if he quit here they never will be. With a cry of pain he stood up and made the final stretch pass the door falling to his knees again and breathing heavily. A smirk was on his face, "I...I d-did....it."

"Congradulations, but you should probably try to rest until your team gets here." Rayu said smiling at Shuski. He laughed tiredy, "Y-yeah...You're probably...R-right." Rayu smiled then turned to Koon waiting for her answer. Shuski looked at the two. They ere one of the people he felt he should watch closely. The girl was strange in it of itself. There was just something off about her. He pretty much got the same vibe from the other girl.

Firie stood back as people form the other teams attempted to make it to the door. Most of the ones that tried suffered injuries. Some more severe than others. However, he was half surprised when Rayu made it to the door with no difficulty at all. It seems he was correct in not killing her. Without a moment of hesitation, Firie made his way calmly, and casually to the door. Just like Rayu, it was of no trouble to him whatsoever. No injuries, no blood, no pain, nothing. Once he reached the door, he turned back towards his remaining teammates. "Are you two coming?"

Darius made his way to the door, beginning to feel the Shinsoo's effect on him, his hands begiining to quiver. 'W-w-what?' He thought, never feeling such forceful energy placed upon him. "Urgh..." he let out a slight groan as he came closer to the door. Then the pressure's effect worsed, Darius gritted his teeth to bear it, but oddly enough his pace remained the same. 'I will never quit! I shall proceed! My heart's mission shall not be placed aside by some stupid force! I can take much more than this!!' he reassured himself, his vens on his hands now showing. "Argh..." Then he made it through, sighing with relief and out of breath.

Dawn had none of his questions answered from the group, he didn't mind though at the end of the day it wouldn't be long at all, they may be together but that should end soon, once they were transported to the next room they met Lero-ro. [i][color=#000080]"His an administrator for the floor?" [/color][/i]Dawn thought to himself, Lero-ro then put the shinsoo barrier up. [color=#000080]"No doubt about it." [/color]dawn stated. [color=#000080]"This guy's no joke, and this barrier, I guess it's to test our power. Not a bad test." [/color]

dawn then began walking to the barrier, both his swords were crossed on his back, he then approached the barrier and began walking into it, he seemed to walk through quite smoothly, however he began feeling pressure being pushed down on his body, Standing in the barrier dawn clenched his fists looked up and continued walking until he walked through. Dawn began regaining his breath and walked abit forward turning to see who else would make it through whilst walking backwards to the door

Noah wanted to just take a nap but before he knew it koon had picked him up and dragged him into an odd group hug. "Oh yeah...touching...heh heh...I think I was half asleep when that was hinted at." He looked around at the groups who appareantly hadn't made it in time. "Well sucks to be them. But less competition I suppose." Suddenly a purple light had enveloped his group and they were in another room. "Where did the pretty colors go?"

Although swords weren't clashing the room still seemed to be loud with people talking or just arguing. A man suddenly coming through a door in the wall had seemed to quiet them all down. "It looks like the next part is about to begin..." The man began to explain the test but with very little detail. "[i]Get to the door? That sounds pretty simple...[/i]" Koon had then began to question Lero-ro about the test. "Your father already made it to the top once? Well I guess that means this place isn't impossible. And also lucky for me that I'm in an alliance with a cutie who's familiar with everything. But...uhhh...what's shinsoo? Not a lot was explained to me. Or I just wasn't paying attention when they did..."

[Yu Hansung]

"Well, quite a few have made it through so far," Lero-ro said, his smile beaming. "Tsk tsk. Some of you can't even get 2 feet closer to the door? I feel sorry for you." [color=#000080]"Mr. Lero-ro, stop teasing the weaklings. It doesn't become you."[/color] "I'm regretting having to test you now, Miss Koon. And why haven't you crossed the door yet?" [color=#000080]"Just observing for now, Mr. Ranker." [/color]"Well, hurry it up. And stop ignoring your teammate."

[color=#000080]"Ah, sorry. Shinsoo is everything in the tower. Everything is controlled by it and made from it in some way, and in some ways it's what allows us to live. Mainly because it forms the air and the earth and everything in the tower. Through Shinsoo anything is possible,"[/color] Koon said, trying to keep the explanation to a minimum. And with that she grabbed Noah and started to drag him towards, the door, breathing heavily from the effort the closer she got. After a minute or so she made it to the other side, breathing in relief.

A few other groups were already on the other side of the door, including Koon's group, Darius' group, and some of Firie's group. A few other nameless groups were scattered around in the next chamber, talking amongst themselves. Two of those groups seemed especially strange. Just something seemed off to Koon when she looked at them, but she couldn't quite see how.
