"Welcome regulars!" The voice boomed out over the massive field that was literred with people of all races, genders, and sizes. The voice was commanding but sounded slightly cheerful, as if this was the best day ever. "Welcome to the Floor of Test, where you will begin your climb of the Tower. Now we have a problem. We have too many regulars to start the first tests so I'll set up a little test right now. We currently have 500 regulars on this floor and I'd rather have 200 regulars. You all have the job of doing that so get to work."

Some of the Regulars immediately started fighting, killing each other in any way they could in order to pass to the next test. They had been chosen to climb this tower and they all wanted to get to the top. Little did they know that there were two irregulars within their midst. Regular after Regular died, some by arrows, others by spears. There was even a couple of snipers picking off stragglers.

Underneath a floating building on the floor two regulars were fighting harder than anyone else. Their weapons were some of the more interesting weapons in the tower. One was a set of cards that multiplied and floated around a small girl, her eyes glowing blood red as she tried to use her cards to kill her opponent. The other was a thin man swinging a weapon around that seemed to be made of liquid, it constantly changing shape and a few of the cards able to be seen within the weapon. [color=#800000]"Why won't you just give up?!"[/color][i] [/i]The red-eyed girl screamed at her silent opponent, the cards still floating around her. The man stayed silent, just blocking the attacks and flinging some of the cards back at the girl, seeming to be bored at the fight.

Another Regular was walking through the fields, carrying a strange briefcase that had once belonged to her father. She smiled to herself, glad that her father had been so kind as to let her borrow it, helping her climb the tower.[color=#000080][i] [/i][/color]She absentmindedly blocked a bullet with the briefcase, taking care to let it ricochet into another Regular behind her as she swept the field, hoping to find an ally. [i][color=#000080]Well, the floor of test is the same as when dad had to go through it so far.[/color][/i]

The fighting was immense, he had no idea what to do but try wait it out. 'They'll kill eachother, I can conserve my energy. I see no point waisting it. I will need it...' he then opend his locket, revealing a picture of a beautiful woman and a some children which bore resemblance to her. '...if I am to grant all of our wishes. I will not let you down Corona. I promise with my life.' Then he cliped it and smoothly dodged two people charging towards eachother, him being in the center. The man then stood tall and mighty as he stepped back away from all the fighting. But he wasn't alone on the edges of the field. Another Regular charged towards him with a mace. The man blocked it swiftly with his sword. "Please, don't make me kill you." He said, but the Regular was to crazed to care, pulling back his mace ready to beat the swordsman to a pulp. Unfortunately the swordsman swiped his neck with the blade, causing him to collapse in a bloody mess. "I'm sorry I have caused you suffering, but I'd rather have you dead quickly and painlessly." Then man said as he closed the man' eyes. Then he rested his head on the grass, saying "Darius Romero, what have you gotten yourself into."

Dawn listened to the announcement, he stood with his arms folded. Dawn wore a black tight jacket with the right arm sleeveless, black leather pants and black boots, on the right side of his body his black cloathes were covered by looses white ones. He had green emerald eyes and short spiky hair, noticably he had 2 long blades across his back, one was white and smoothly well sharpened, the other was jagged and black. Dawn after the announcement observed his surroundings.

[color=#000080]"An Elimination test then?"[/color]

He then slowly took the white blade from his back with his right hand, a light breeze swept the open area, the light grass waved all around the area.

"Ahhhh!!!" Came the voice of a man dashing with a katana blade at Dawn who was facing the other way, upon approaching the man lifted his sword preparing for his swing. Dawn within an instant took out his white blade, turned and uppercuted the man's chest.

The man fell to the ground with a large gash across his chest.

Dawn looked at his blade and said to himself. [color=#000080]"I guess it'd be best if I held on to this."[/color] Upon walking over the heavily wounded body Dawn stepped on the katana blade causing it to break, Dawn then proceeded to find others he could be rid of.

The first test seemed like the perfect oppurtunity for Noah to do absolutely nothing. He'd just need to stay out of the way while the others duked out in the main crowd. In the meantime he'd just lay down and relax in the grass. There was a nice breeze that made it even better "There's 500 of us yet only 200 can continue. This shouldn't last too long. People can be killed pretty easily and this sudden violence may be a surprise to half of the-" He tilted his head to the side just barely evading a bullet that had now dug itself into the dirt. "Geez. People should watch where they're shooting I could have died."

Firie sighed as everyone immediately began killing each other. Well, almost everyone. A few were trying to avoid fights. Either out of fear or not wanting to do anything. It didn't matter to him what everyone else did. He was going to make it to the top one way or another. Right now, however, he was thinking deep into this test. Were they specifically told they had to kill each other? For all they knew, simply drawing straws would have been perfectly fine. It just shows you how quick minded people can be when a goal was in sight. But Firie did not hate them for it. They couldn't help it. Evil was to blame...evil that he will see destroyed. "I wonder how long it will take before we advance?" he asked himself.

[color=#000080]"Hello there. An odd time to be taking a nap." [/color]The blue-haired girl with the strange briefcase said to Noah, deciding to sit next to him. [color=#000080]"I'm surprised you're not out there with the other idiots fighting everyone." [/color]She turned around and pulled a knife out of the briefcase and threw it into the heart of someone trying to sneak up on her before continuing. [color=#000080]"I remember the stories my father told me about the floor of test. It seems to be about the same so far. Pocket! Timer!"[/color] A pocket appeared floating in mid air and the girl glanced at it before saying, [color=#000080]"Pocket! Invisible! Judging by how long the test has been going on I'd say we still have 400ish Regulars left. I don't feel like looking for fights so wanna team up instead?"[/color]

Sitting on a boulder was a 20 year old girl who appeared to only look as though she was 16 or 17 years old. She wore a blue dress and black dress shoes. Across her back was a large, golden colored staff. She looked around the field not seeing anyone in sight. The rules of this test had been explained, and it was to make the 500 regulars go down to only 200 regulars.[color=#4B0082] "I really don't want to fight..."[/color] The young girl, who's name was Rayu, said. [color=#4B0082]"Maybe if I dont move....The other people will just get rid of each other, and then I wont have to fight!" [/color]Rayu smiled at her genius idea. [color=#4B0082]"Yeah! That's what I'll do!"[/color] She looked around, [color=#4B0082]"Though...I should probably find a better hiding spot."[/color] She mumbled jumping off of the rock and walking towards the right of her position.

"[color=#0000CD]Ahh!!"[/color] Cried a young man as he just barely dodged a wide sword swing from another compeditor.[color=#0000CD] "H-hey! Let's just talk it over!" [/color]The large OX looking person laughed loudly, "Sorry kid, but the only talking you'll be doing is to your god when I kill you!" Shuski, the boys name, cried out again jumping to the side once again dodging the attack. The large OX guy was suddenly slammed into by another, equally giant, looking creature. Shuski blinked and kept quiet noticing that the new large creature hadn't even seen him yet. This was his chance to get away. The OX creature turned to the one that slammed into him, "You will pay for that!"

Shuski quickly, and quietly, scampered off.[color=#0000CD] "Phew! That was a close one. I should really try to lay low for a while. I'm no good in close combat fighting."[/color] He mumbled. [color=#0000CD]"There is no way I wil be able to defeat everyone here. I will have to make some good allies...People who will fight in my place..."[/color] Shuski thought to himself walking further into the test field.

[Desu the Blue Nerd]

As the girl walked up to him Noah had decided to not move from his resting place. After the bullet had gone by it was actually nice and relaxing aside from the noise and death. Sad to think such a nice field has to be tainted by so much blood and so many bodies bodies. Although it might also explain why it is so nice. As the girl began to talk and sit next to him he turned his head to her. He listened to what she had to say and see what she did. "[i]She's got some tricks up her sleeve.[/i]" He sat up and smiled before answering her. "How can I refuse to team up with such a cute girl? It's just unfortunate to hear that only 100 are gone. I was hoping this would go by quicker. But I can't complain if I get to spend this time with such a pretty girl."

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

He stood there, quiet, no one had approached him for almost any other regular knew who he was. He was part of one of those families, the Arie Family to be exact, their known to be quiet strong but this only attracted most people. "You, member of the Arie Family, shall perish on this day." The man drew his sword and he was indeed fast, making slight images of himself with his own speed and he was closing in on the man who responded by picking his fist up and slamming it straight into the mans face launching half way across the battlefield into another boy (Shuski) who was currently running away from two large opponents. "There's no need to check his pulse kid, the punch killed him." This man said, letting his white jacket flow in the wind, his six pack abs showing off because of his shirtlessness and unbuttoned jacket.

Darius' disguise seemed to have worked...shockingly. He sticked out like a sore thumb lying down in the grass looking up to the stars, but it was as if nobody seemed to even dare approach him, like he had some sort of invisible barrier around him, separating him from existances as time moved around him taking it's predetermined course. But Darius was not one to noticed said phenomina, ashe starred up at the clouds wondering what this new adventure would bring him. He partially feared he would die and fail his children, leaving them with no daddy and soon, no mommy either. In fact it brought a tear to his eye. He said quietly "I promise my children that I shall not fail. I shall give them their mother's life!" He then sat up and looked around and to his surprse people were conversing. He did nothing, just sat there in his little void, making no sound in deep contemplation and meditation.

The girl smiled at Noah before looking around, making sure no one was sneaking up on them again. [color=#000080]"My name is Koon Mahonny Linea. And you would be?"[/color] She was dressed in what seemed to be a dark vest with a white shirt underneath and a mid-thigh-length dress skirt. Her shoes were knee high and were the same color as her vest. Her hair and eyes were blue-ish white and she had a blue bandanna and pierced ears, with several piercings.

As the two continued to fight they moved across the battlefield, a few other regulars being instantly killed as some of the cards sliced them down by accident. [color=#800000]"Stop trying to run away you coward!"[/color] she screamed at the thin man. Soon their battle brought them close to a man sitting in the field, inexplicably being ignored by other people. One card started to fly towards the man's head, about to hit him in the back of the head.

[color=#4B0082]"There doesn't seem to be many places to hi-"[/color] Rayu suddenly dodged to the right narrowly avoiding an arrow that became enbedded into the ground in front of her.[color=#4B0082] "It isn't very nice to attack people with their backs turned." [/color]She said turning around to see the culprit of said arrow standing on a large rock very far away. Rayu attempted to walk away again but was once again stopped, this time by three arrows which she deflected by using her staff. Her eyes narrowed, and suddenly she was gone from her position.

The female launching the arrows blinked in confusion, "What...She...Vanished.." She suddenly gasped and quickly turned around abotu to fire another arrow but it was too late. Rayu, using one hand, swung her staff against the womans neck completely shattering it and sending her flying off of the cliff. Rayu smirked, a dark glint in her eyes, [color=#4B0082]"You should have stopped while you were a head."[/color] Though almost as quickly as she appeared on the rock, Rayu frowned. [color=#4B0082]"How is it possible that I can do such things? And why do I feel nothing of the death of another..?"[/color] Rayu asked herslef looking over the battle field littered with bloodied bodies.

Shuski thought he would be in the clear for a while, when suddenly a body was comign towards him. Luckily he managed not to get hit, but was shocked that it literally came out of no where. [color=#0000CD]"I-is...Is he dead?"[/color] Shuski whispered steping closer only to be answer by another man. Apparently the one who was responsible for killing the other man. [color=#000080]"O-oh, um...H-h-hello mister. Um, you w-won't try to, um...Attack me will you?"[/color] Shuski asked shyly already taking a step back.

A gentle breeze came across the field and caused Firie's black trench coat to flutter a little. "So much pointless killing. But this is taking to long." Firie gripped his double bladed staff and walked up behind a man with a gun. The man did not even know of Firie approaching as he was to intent on picking others off with his gun. "You do not pay attention enough. Even if you passed this test, you would surely die anyway." The man was startled by Firie's voice, but had no time to react as one end of the double bladed staff pierced through the man's back, through his heart, and out of his chest. "Sacrifices must be made for the greater good. Your life will not be forgotten."

Suddenly, Darius's senses became intense. "Hmm!" He rapidly drew out his blade, slicing the card in half and leaped out towards the running man, standing before him like a bolt of lightning, his eyes appearing as if they were glowing from under his shadow caused by him facing away from the sun. "It isn't polite to through cards at people." Darius said to the man, bfore grasping his head and lifting a leg directly paralel to him. "KYAA!" He then brought his leg into the man's arm, then flipping, dragging momentum into his other foot, allowing him to kick the other arm, rendering the man disabled for a while. Darius then elbowed a man charging at him before returning to his spot, overlooking the battlefield. "'Ares himself would dispair to see such violence.' a wonderful quote of Darius De Lo're, especially for this timing."

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

The man didn't answer right away, he was attacked by a female whip handler at the moment. He let the whip wrap around his covered arm and then with a slight tug of his arm she came flying over only to be slammed in the face with another of this mans devastating punches, this corpse landed far closer though as it was mostly embedded into the ground. "Why would I attack you." The man said, letting the whip that did no damage to even his jacket fall to the ground after uncoiling. "Your not here to attack me...right." He said, applying a little bit of force to the word "right" as he cracked his knuckles.

[Desu the Blue Nerd]

"M-my name?" His face became a bit paler and he lost a bit of his smile at the question. "[i]If I tell her my name then my chances might be ruined. Relax Noah...that was seven years ago...I doubt she even knows much about the murders.[/i]" He shook his head for a bit to get rid of his paleness. He then took a deep breath and quickly cleared his throat. "It's not in my nature to lie to such a cute face. My name is Noah Adler. The son of Kevin Adler. If you ignore the acts of my father I hope we can become great allies."

The girl with the cards then flung more at the man who had just attacked the thin man she had been fighting earlier. [color=#800000]"I! Wasn't! DONE WITH HIM!!"[/color] She screeched at him, some of the cards missing the man and burying themselves into the ground. The thin man slowly picked himself up, moving closer to the man who had attacked him. [color=#008080]"Sorry for dragging you into this,"[/color] he said to him, sighing slightly, still sounding bored. [color=#008080]"Nice kick though. I can hardly feel my arms."[/color]

[color=#000080]"Sorry, I've never heard about any Adler,"[/color] she said, scratching her head slightly. [color=#000080]"I don't care that much anyways. I'm just looking for allies to climb the tower with. I don't like people who kill for no reason but you seem like a reasonable person."[/color]

What seemed like a wave of shadow moved through the field, swarming some of the weaker Regulars, their screams filling the air over the sounds of battle. The man controlling the shadow was holding a staff in front of him, the shadow clearly emanating from it. He grinned evilly at the battlefield, the shadows protecting him as a hail of arrows tried to pierce him.

Several other regulars were charging at a robed Dark Elf by the name of Revenova Decassus, wielding a flamberge. However, they acted too late. In seconds, the flamberge had shone green from drawing the shinshoo from the tower. Revenova swung the flamberge in a circular motion, sending the shinshoo energy straight into the regulars, who had then been slammed into the confines of the tower. They all survived, but Revenova had beheaded the lot of them before they could regain enough energy to fight back. However, he wasn't done fighting just yet. He threw his flamberge behind him, somehow managing to take another regular down with it, before side-stepping just as a spear soared past him and killed a second regular in front of him. Revenova turned round and picked up his sword, before holding the spearman that was aiming at him at swordpoint.

[color=#800000]"If you value your life, then I'd stay where I was if I were you,"[/color] Revenova stated coldly.

"W-w-w-what do y-you want with me?" the man asked quiveringly.

[color=#800000]"I could've asked you the same question!"[/color] Revenova spat as he poked the man's neck with the flamberge

Darius smoothly dodged the cards and knelt down to the man, holding his shoulders and saying "I'm sorry for harming you on a case of misaccusation. And I will gladly take your place. I owe you that." He then stood up ad turned to the girl with a fierce and undivided look, as if she was the only person in existance. He walked up slowly to her whilst attacking, blocking and dodging almsot every silly man being tossed his way. Half way between them an arrow chipped his skin off his cheek, in which Darius caught the arrow and flung it back into the neck of the foolish archer he decided to celibrate very early. Then Darius' cheek was bleeding slightly but he walked to the girl, saying "You may have missed you're throws, but I don't take lightly to harm coming in my direction." in a calm manner, as if she did nothing wrong. "I forgive you, because you clearly were not fighting me. So, I shall bid you good day." Then Darius lifted the old man and brought him to his little spot, keeping an eye over him. "You'll be safe with me watching you, I assure you."

Shuski watched in awe as the muscular man thought nothing of the whip weilding woman, and easily disposed of her. [color=#0000CD]'[i]He's amazing...I must have him on my team, before he joins someone else.' [/i][/color]Hearing what he said Shuski gulped, and gave a nervous laugh with sweat running down his face. [color=#0000CD]"N-no ofcourse n-not, sir."[/color] He said raising his hands in a 'I surrender' pose. Shuski fixed the glasses that he wore, and straightened out the white, button down shirt that he wore. [color=#0000CD]"Um...I-im Shuski Naruse by the way..."[/color] He said trailing off once again fiddling with his glasses.

Rayu, after dispatching the archer woman, continued to walk in the original direction she was heading. As she continued walking she suddenly came across a man who just got finished killing another by stabbing their staff through another man's heart. [color=#4B0082]"Quite brutal[/color]." She mumbled and started to walk away slowly,[color=#4B0082] "I-i should leave..I don't w-want him to see me and try to kill me."[/color] She said trying to leave as inconspicuously as possible.

Dawn continued to walk along the grass often seeing a few scuffles here and there.[color=#000080] "Hmph. the count would have gone down quite quickly."[/color] Dawn suddenly looked to his right and saw a man destroying about 3 others with a flamberege (Revenova). Dawn had a decision to make, [color=#000080]"If i can't even get past this test, then there would be no point in me being here."[/color]

Dawn began walking to the man with his white blade over his shoulder. [color=#000080]"You seem to be a fan of killing."[/color]

The once peaceful field had soon been replaced with a blood soaked battlefield. The fighting seemed to have no end in sight as hundreds of men and women drew their last breath. Suddenly a loud roar echoed across the field, there was an increasing number of people forming at the source of the sudden roar. From a distance one might be able to see countless numbers of human bodies flying into the air before returning to the ground with anccompanied splat or crunch noise.

Within the center of the crowd stood a large blue scaled Argai on all fours. The Argai held bright glowing yellow eyes as he bared his fangs at his foes. The beast had a large club straped to his back, but he was fending off his foes with his claws, horns, and tail.

" [color=#800080]You wish to fight me? I am [b]Krygonius[/b] geerrrrrrrrrrrrr[/color]." The Argai yelled

Many people tried teaming up and attacking the beast in large groups but their efforts only lead them to a quick defeat. The beast thick scales protected it from most of his attacker weapon strikes. Some belived that it was best to approach the beast from the rear, but Krygonius's mighty tail swipe sent men flying into the air. Krygonius seemed to be in a deep feral state of rage, at tis point it seemed as if no one could match his strenght.

[color=#800000]"You want to toy with me?!"[/color] The girl said, grabbing a hold of one of the cards. It burst into flames and her eyes began to glow as she screamed, [color="#800000"]"IGNITE!"[/color] The cards exploded outwards, multiplying intensely as the air filled with them before they aimed for Darius again. [color=#800000]"That thin prick is MINE!"[/color]

[color=#008080]"Lovely, she ignited. I'm getting the feeling back in my arms so you should probably get out of here before I use Nasharuga,"[/color] the thin man said, pushing past Darius, grabbing his strange weapon with both hands as he took a wide stance. [color=#008080]"Ignite!"[/color] He screamed, as his weapon splashed out of his hands, starting to cover the immediate area with water. A giant wave formed, sucking in the cards and holding them in place before the wave froze over. More water leaked from the handle that still remained in the thin man's hands as it created what seemed to be a giant whip as it sliced toward the girl.

Noah sighed in relief after Koon said she doesn't know the name Adler but she didn't care anyway. "[i]Yes! My chances weren't ruined.[/i]" He let out a light laugh. "Don't worry about me. I rather avoid murder unless I absolutely have to." After hearing a lot of loud noise he turned his head to the direction of said noise. "It's a slaughter..." He looked back at Koon and smiled. "Don't worry though. I'll make sure nobody hurts an ally of mine." He went back to laying on the grass. Nobody seemed to be nearing them at the moment so it seemed like a great chance to relax. It'd probably the last good chance to for a while.

"Ig-ignite?" Darius said, puzzled, untill suddenly wind around his blade began to spin faster and get colder. "What the-?" Suddenly, his sword was covered in a snowy wind that circle the blade. "W-wow. Amazing." He commented on his sword. This was strange. He had his sword for all he could remember yet suddenly it had magic powers? Darius stood up and dashed towards the whip, his sword making contact froze the water on the spot. "Don't harm her." Darius said to him. "She does not deserve to die." He then pointed his sword at the old man. "I know neither of you, but I can feel that you two are going to be a vital part of my future. So I can't have either of you killed." Darius then placed his sword in it's scabbard and looking at the girl, saying "It seems you're flaming spirit matches your powers." and he turned to the old man saying "Your tranquility is shown by your water manipulation." Darius the concluded. "You both are opposites, one old, the other young, male and female, fire and water. This bond is too strong to be idley ignored."
