And we, as the Fairy Eye Club of Akamura High School, are here to find those elusive monsters! We believe that they exist and we'll find out the truth! So if you are one of those people who have an interest in finding these extraordinary creatures, come sign-up to the Fairy Eye Club! And remember, seeing isn't always believing but you just gotta believe what you're seeing! Admission is ¥2000

Akamura High School, at first glance, seems to be like any other ordinary high school located in the fictional locale of Sazanama Town in Japan, but the truth is far from that. Within one special room at Akamura High School is a cabinet that serves as a stairway descending to an underground city filled with legendary creatures. And the room that contains this magical cabinet just happens to be the headquarters of the Fairy Eye Club. Members of the Fairy Eye Club are also pretty special in their own rights. Their members can actually see these legendary creatures and can even travel to their city through the magical cabinet. Fairy Eye's actual mission is to protect the boundaries of the human world and the legendary creature world.

And with that said, they are looking for new members to help out on their mission, but not anyone will do, only those few people will the ability to see the legendary creatures and a good heart can join. The Fairy Eye Club are here to protect the bridge connecting the two worlds and any evil humans or legendary creatures trying to cause trouble for either world will be stopped. That is the mission of Fairy Eye!

This story follows Touma Fukuzawa, his fairy named Aki, and the members of Fairy Eye as they try to survive high school while keeping the peace between humans and legendary creatures!

Applying for this RP means that you will need to be active. If for any reason you cannot be active, PM me saying so or post it on the OOC. I am only accepting a limited amount of people for this RP. Those who do apply, you have a maximum of two characters unless I say so otherwise. This an anime/manga-esque RP, so the story will be based on chapters, seasons, arcs, etc. and the overall atmosphere and tone of the RP will be like an anime/manga. Also, I will not be accepting any antagonists unless I say so otherwise. The use of profanity in this RP is okay but shouldn't be frequent and no major curse words either.

But of course this doesn't mean that you should give them horns or something way out of the ordinary.

[spoiler=Appearance:]Touma is a young man of average height and weight. Touma has light skin and is pretty normal in physique. Touma has messy dark brown hair that curls upward on both sides, above his ears with bangs coming coming down the middle of his face, stopping just above the bridge of his nose. Touma has brown eyes. Clothing-wise, Touma is almost always, if not always, seen wearing a red beanie with small cat ear-like protrusions on both upper sides of the beanie and goggles worn over the beanie. He usually wears a white collar shirt with the sleeves rolled up over a custom-made, long-sleeved white t-shirt with blue sleeves and the "Fairy Eye Club" symbol in the middle chest region of the shirt. Touma has dark knee-length shorts and matching blue wristbands, as well as light brown sandals and two pins worn on his collar shirt on the left chest region of the shirt near a pocket. One pin is blue with a red version of the "Fairy Eye Club" symbol on it and the other pin is a red pin with the picture of a gunman skull on it. Touma has a red-colored flip cellphone with a cellphone strap that has repeating pictures of blue flames.

[spoiler=Personality:]Touma is usually seen in a happy and energetic mood that rarely falters. Touma enjoys helping other people out in tough situations and hates delinquents though he has been called one himself before. Touma enjoys the thrill of a good mystery and the process of looking for evidence, trailing suspects, etc. Of course, his greatest passion is meeting all kinds of different legendary creatures in Seibutsu City. Touma's favorite legendary creatures are fairies because they are one of the rarest and most difficult of the legendary creatures to encounter. Touma enjoys reading manga and watching anime, mostly fantasy-based manga and anime. Though usually happy and carefree, Touma can become serious when the time calls for it. And even though he is usually energetic, he can be laid-back and even lazy to an extent. Touma is totally committed to Fairy Eye and his friends. Touma can be hot-headed and stubborn at times, especially against delinquents. Touma hates spicy food.

[spoiler=Bio:]Touma was born in Sazanama Town and has since lived here for currently all of his life. Touma lives with his father, mother, and two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. When Touma was seven, he had a near death experience when a train nearly hit him as he was outside playing by the train tracks at night. However, something had saved Touma and ever since then, Touma was able to see silhouettes of strange creatures. When Touma told his parents what he was seeing however, they didn't believe him and just told him that he wasn't getting enough sleep, but Touma knew that what he was seeing was real. Gradually, Touma began to see more and more of the silhouettes in detail, and before long, Touma could see these strange figures clearly. Though at first, Touma acted like he didn't see them at all.

When Touma searched online about some of the creatures he'd saw, he found an article about fairies and how they help people out of danger. That's when Touma knew that what saved him from his near death experience was in fact a fairy. Touma then set out to find a fairy. Although he never found one until middle school when he began talking to the other creatures he saw, asking them about fairies. After talking with them, Touma knew that people's notion about some of these legendary creatures being evil are wrong. It didn't matter what type of creature they were, but it depended on the individual. Ever since then, Touma would hang around these creatures that only he saw.

One day, Touma finally got his wish and saw a fairy. Though the fairy was badly injured. Touma quickly took the fairy to a local phoenix that he knew and had the phoenix healed the fairy's wounds with its tears. After that, Touma devoted all of his time and energy tending to the fairy. With all of Touma's hard work caring for the fairy, the fairy was soon completely healed and it had grown attached to Touma. As a result, the fairy has been Touma's creature partner ever since. When Touma was in high school, he found out that there were others like him who possess the ability to see these legendary creatures as well. Touma and his friends one day founded an odd cabinet in an old storage room at Akamura High School.

When they opened it, they found a staircase descending to the world of the legendary creatures known as Seibutsu City. Because of this, Touma and his friends convinced the principal of Akamura High School to let them open a club using that old storage room, and the rest was history. Fairy Eye was created.

[spoiler=Weapon(s):]Baseball Bat: Touma uses a metal baseball bat as his weapon of choice. It looks like just an ordinary metal baseball bat with a black handle. However, it was charmed by Touma's fairy to be able to withstand extreme heat and fire and it's also quite durable.

Aki is extremely small, being only 1'09" in height and weighing only 14 lbs.

[spoiler=Personality:]Aki is usually energetic and carefree like Touma. She is very protective of Touma and always follows him around. She is also very loyal to him as well. To strangers, Aki is usually quiet but straight forward. She also has a tendency of biting people's fingers, especially someone who she has just been introduced to. She has many qualities similar to Touma though she enjoys spicy food.

[spoiler=Ability(s):]Aki is a fire fairy, meaning that she can control, manipulate, and transform herself into fire. Like most elemental fairies, her wings are made out of her specific element and that's why she doesn't naturally display them like how people think fairies are suppose to be. She can turn herself into fire and infuse herself into Touma's baseball bat, allowing Touma to do different kinds of attacks with fire. Aki's fire is special molding fire which means the fire can be changed into different shapes e.g. a hammer, a sword, etc.

[spoiler=Special Skill(s):]Extreme Perception: Touma's senses are extremely keen, allowing him to pick up on things others might not see or think is relevant. However, in some cases, Touma must concentrate in order to pick up on faint sounds from afar or smells. In these case, Touma must not lose his concentration.

Good Sense of Direction: Touma has a good sense of direction, being able to choose a right path amongst multiple paths. This is helpful when he's in unfamiliar areas. Though strangely enough, when Touma eats spicy food, his sense of direction gets all messed up for a temporary amount of time.

Good Luck: Touma is quite the lucky person. Even if there was a test where he only has an eight percent chance of passing, Touma somehow passes. Similarly to his sense of direction, when Touma eats spicy food, his good luck seems to disappear for an amount of time.

[spoiler=Personality:] Nobu is a very gentle soul who wants nothing more than to have friends. But he was ften left alone as a child so he dislikes being alone. In some cases it breaks him to tears. He is in tact with his emotions and he isn't very confrontational, often shying out of any confrontation. He's very protective of his friends, which is why he never takes off his necklace as he has developed a friendship with the spirit within it. Nobu also posseses a natural curiosity for new things, and he'll blindly follow people into something possibly dangerous, highlighting a gullable nature to him. He's innocent minded and he is very trusting, especially in his brother.

[spoiler=Bio:] Nobu was born into a loving family and a protective brother who he looked up to. They lived in snowy regions of Japan, and their family where loggers, which was moderately proffitable at the time. Whilst his father and his brother Hideki were out logging, he would stay with his mother and learn to cook. His father said this was untill he was old enough to decide if he wanted to spend his time logging. When he had grown up a bit more, age 10, he decided he'd rather stay with his mother than go out logging. His father was slightly confused but Hibeki was proud. His mother had told Hibeki that she'd miss spending time with Nobu, so Hibeki secretly told Nobu how his mother felt. Nobu then said "But bro, I wanna spend time with you!", but Hibeki replied "Nobu, there are times you need to put others before yourself." and so the two were very close brothers. His mother did smother him a bit, treating him as the baby of the household and being very protective over him. Hibeki was relieved he could spend some time to himself whilst Nobu enjoyed his mother and father's loving care. In fact, he was going through the awkward stages of puberty, which is why this appealed him so much. Nobu himself was happy, because he always got the last cookie.

[spoiler=Hibeki Kokobunji:]

Now when Nobu was aged twelve, his mother took him to an old temple which was said to be the home of an ancient spirit. And despite the fact she thought it wasn't true, it was. Whilst the pair were walking into a dark room, a door closed behind Nobu, separating him from his mother. Then in the center of the room he saw a necklace. He placed it in his pocket and opened the door, his mother hugging him tightly and leaving immediately. Then he placed on the necklace. As he fell asleep he awoke in a snowy forest. Then he saw her, Yuki Onna, in her beautiful dress singin in the frozen lands. Nobu went over and said hi, only to be greeted by her shoving her palm to his chest and began freezing him, only to turn around and see how young he was. She couldn't bear to kill a child, despite how evil she was, so she stopped freezing him. Nobu was extremelly upset and broke down into tears, which melted Yuki's icey heart. Then she sang him a lullaby whilst putting him asleep. The next day, Nobu woke up well rested and in a very good mood. He then told his brother about what happened. When he finished, just about when Nobu reached for the necklace to take it off, his brother said "Don't. You could kill allof us. Yuki has taken a liking to you, so you should keep it. Don't let anyone take it off."

Age fourteen, Nobu and Hibeki's parent's died in a tragic car accident, which meant Hibeki would have to work twice as hard whilst Nobu had to maintain the home for the two of them. At first it was manageable, the sadness and grief of their parent's death gradually leaving them. However, it became to difficult. And two years ahead, Nobu and Hibeki could not afford their mountain home which forced them to move to Sazanama Town, where a friend of Hibeki would home them and help them get on their feet. With no choice they moved away and got settled in the new home. Now Hibeki makes decent pay, enough to make rent, support Nobu's schoolastic life, all the necesities and even some rather nice luxiouries. But Nobu wasn't doing as well. Still asshy as he was age ten, Nobu never really went out to meet friends because where he came from, it was only at meeting spots could the socialize out of work/school, etc. Nobu's first day is coming up, but when he was given a tour, he spotted somethign which caught his eye. The Fairy Eye club. His brother agreed to pay for it since he would make new friends, hopefully.

The Frost Necklace: A believed source of his powers, Nobu's necklace "allows" him to mainpulte Ice, which he will rarely use to fight, but rather defend.

Yuki Onna: His partner. Sometimes, but not very often, he will ask his spirit to go and help him in combat. He does not make use of this often because he fears Yuki will go rampant and severly harm the person, even if Nobu asked she wouldn't.

Yuki is a Frost Spirit who is said to have originally been a woman passed away during a snow storm. She was said to be very beautiful, but she had a heart of Ice. However, ever since she met Nobu, her icey heart has revealed a much nicer and softer side, perhaps the personality of the woman she once was. However, she will make use of her icey heart and occasionally cause Nobu to be aggresive, making use of his ice power for deadlier intention.

Yuki is the source of Nobu's Cryomancy, the power to manipulate Ice. She has been bound to Nobu's body ever since he placed on her necklace, and as a result he has taken all of her powers as his own. If Nobu is not wearing the necklace she can jump from body to body, as any spirit naturally could. She can also drain the energy out of her host, which she often does to Nobu to help him sleep easier.

Survivor

Nobu can take a huge amount of impact and generally survive it. This doesn't mean he won't feel the fatigue, because he will. This allows him to survive most falls that would kill a normal human being. Also he can take most attacks, recieving the pain and dmage, but still bounce up ready to fight. It takes a lot to take down Nobu.

Cryomancy

The ability to reduce the kinetic energy of atoms and thus reduce temperature, can be used to control, generate, or absorb ice. Basically saying, Nobu can control Ice. He can use it to generate shields for himself and other, even create walkways. However, his power's strength is it's own weakness. Even though he can make things colder, if everything else is warm then the ice would melt.

Gentle Soul

Nobu's heart is naturally innocent and pure, which allows him to resist temptation and crime a lot more easier than most people. It also allows him to be seen as "completely pure."

Whenever Kayoya is seen she is always wearing some type of outfit in which she can fight in, but the only thing she is always seen wearing in a black belt around her waist. Her hair is always in a pony tail to keep it out of the way.

Personality: Kayoya is a very fiesty individual. While she isn't a mean person, she does have a tendency to cause bodily harm to those close to her, which she assures people that is how they know she likes them. Kayoya will often threaten someone by using her magic hammer that will suddenly appear out of her school bag which somehow has everything that Kayoya needs. She is unrashonal, over enthusiatica go getter. She has almost too much enthusiasim, always coming off as loud, reckless and shameless. Kayoya is the one who will rush straight in to get what she wants. She doesn't care about the consequences and would rathe deal with them when they come. She will be the one to throw the first punch, and not even apologize if she was in the wrong. She says whats on her mind no matter what it is. Which gives her a very blunt and almost crude personality. Kayoya is the completely definition of a tomboy, and completely despises anything that is pink, frilly or too girly. Everytime she comes in contact with something like that she gets weaker and weaker, to the point where she is unable to move...So it's kind of like her kryptonite. Kayoya is determined to believe that spirits and ghost are different, and will be ready to argue with someone to prove her point. She is deathly afraid of dark places and will cling onto the person that is closest to her, and then roughly pushing them away (most likely by punching, kicking and slamming them with her hammer).

Bio: Kayoya never knew her mother, because when she was only 2 years old her mother bailed on her and her dad. Due to that, as she grew up she began to search for mother figures it the neighborhood mothers, or even the teachers she had. She didn't have any aunts as both of her parents were only children, and thus no couzins to play with or visit. Whenever her father was at work Kayoya had to go with him, but it's not like she minded since he ran his own Dojo. Kayoya took her first class when she was 5 years old, and took a quick liking to it. Doing such a physical sport allowed her to relieve herself from alot of anger, and fustration at her mother for leaving her. While it was never a good thing for the boys she was sparring, it was good for her as it kept her from keeping it bottled inside. By the time she reached her 13th birthday she had sucessfully become a black belt in her father's dojo.

Her first encounter with a spirit was when she was snooping around in her father's room while he was out. When in there she came across a very old, and worn out black belt. The instant she looked at it she was fasinated by it and wanted to try it on. When she picked it up a very loud, and angry male spirit jumped out scaring the life out of Kayoya. He boastfully introduced himself as Kenshi, which didn't impress Kayoya in the slightest. All she wanted to do was put on the belt, which she did, and the second she had tied the knot - very much to the dislike of Kenshi who was yeling the entire time - her father walked through the door. He didn't seem to be able to see Kenshi like she could, and was more surprised than angry that she could get the belt on. He told her that every time he tried to pick up the belt it felt like 3 tons.

Kayoya didn't understand it either, but ever since then she had always worn that belt. Especially when she found out that she became a master at almost every martial art that she knew. Even some that she had never even heard of! Kenshi explained why, and that it was him who was responsible for that and as long as she wore the belt then she would retain all of his fighting skills. Kayoya and Kenshi have almost the same personality, so while they are often yelling at each other and spewing out challenges -which Kenshi can never win since he is a spirit - they are very close.

Ability(s): The ability that Kenshi gives to Kayoya is the knowladge that he has aquired from being alive. Kenshi, when alive, was the most feared fighter having mastered most martial arts and weapeon usage. Kenshi's spirit is trappd in the black belt he wore during his death, and whoever is in possesson of the belt gains all of his skill and knowladge about martial arts.

Special Skill(s): She can knitt, cook, knows numerous martial arts, has flawless balance, is deceptively strong, and can sleep in any position.

Personality: Akemi is a strange boy to say the least. He has the tendancy to flirt with any decent looking girl he sees. He's also known to be a complete pervert and is rumored to have secret hidden porn stashes around the school. At first glance he seems to come off as being a complete idiot but in fact he usually comes out at one of the top of his classes which he states are actually pretty easy. He's had plenty of oppurtunities to be in more advanced classes but passes everytime so he can stay with friends and cuter girls. Even though he's a horrible pervert and flirt he's still a very good friend who will even with his love for the other, put bros first.

[spoiler=Bio]Ever since birth Akemi had the ability to see the creatures that normal people couldn't see. His parents had just thought he had some imaginary friends but they didn't look too into it but instead sometimes play along since he seemed to be fine with friends and school and it seemed more like a game a lot of the time. It took until 1st grade until he had finally realized that he was actually seeing things that others didn't.

He began to isolate himself from others, both normal and magical, and devulge himself into what's commonly accepted. He'd study all kinds of books to find a logical solution but all he could figure out was that he was just crazy but he knew deep down that wasn't true. There just had to be some sort of reason that he could see them. while others couldn't.

When Akemi was 11 he went on a field trip to Mount Kurama. While touring the mountain with his classmates he got seperated from the group and was quickly lost. While trying to find his way back to he came across a group of tengu that were making fun of and attacking a kotengu. Too this day he doesn't know why he sprang into action to help the kotengu, even though he denied their existance, but he did. The tengu didn't seem to care about the young boys interruption and had actually wounded his back until Sojobo had walked in.

Sojobo had told the other tengu to leave and then explained to Akemi about the kotengu, Karasu, and how he was once a tengu who had done horrible misdeeds and because of it was given a smaller, more bird-like body. Sojobo told Akemi that if Karasu obtained a human partner and train him into a great warrior and person in general then he may redeem himself and regain his status as a tengu. Akemi didn't really care and was still denying the existance of these creatures so he downright refused.

Karasu promised that if he could return Akemi to his group (since he was obviously lost and not the first lost kid) in less that five minutes then he'd accept him as his partner. Akemi had nothing to lose and thought it'd be funny to play with his imagination like he did when he was younger. With Karasu he had found his group in only four minutes so he let him stick around him for a bit longer with no complaint. This event began to let him accept the fact that he was truely different and that these creatures were real. The wound on his back and how he found the group when they hadn't even noticed he had left was getting a bit too hard to deny.

In middle school he met Touma, another kid with a partner like his.He quickly befriended the kid. Thanks to him he finally accepted the existance of the creatures and broke out of his shell. He also began to take up kendo after Karasu had told him it'd make him more popular with the girls but it was soon evident that he completely sucked at uasing a sword. He later tried out for the school's archery team and was a natural with the bow and arrow. Also thanks to the tutorship of Kurasu he became extremely skilled and in high school became the captain of the school's male archery team.

[spoiler=Appearance]Karasu is only 2 feet tall. His eyes are usually closed except when somebody breaks his wise-guy act, gets him pissed, or he's serious.

[spoiler=Personality]Karasu enjoys antagonizing people and starting fights. But not fights with him. He loves to start fights between people while he himself sits at the sidelines and watches. It's like a past time with him. Karasu has a bit of a knack for acting. He usually pretends to act wise and old with his eyes closed but for a Tengu he's still fairly young and due to the fact that he's a Kotengu extremely immature. He has a short temper and he himself can be forced into a fight fairly easily or just get Akemi to fight...or run...for him. Even with all this he seems to be extremely clever and shows it in various ways like in combat, getting others to fight, or to just get his way and what he wants.

I was born in London while my parents were there because my dad had to work on some computers for the British government. I was given the pendant on my 5th birthday and I've always kept it with me since then. We've been on the move a lot so I didn't have the chance to make many friends and instead started to read books and listen to music, afraid to lose my friends again. I think I became obsessed with Vampires when I was around 8, when I found a book about them. They are SO awesome, and I've always wanted to meet one! I've never much had the chance to look for one though, because we've moved around so much. We moved here a few months ago because my dad wanted me to finish my last school years somewhere where I could make friends. I haven't met a lot of people yet because I was too busy reading books at home before school started.

I first saw a legendary creature was when I saw Ralphonse! I could tell he was a vampire at first sight. He was way too pale and I noticed his fangs when he smiled but no one else did. They thought I was crazy to think he was a vampire. I only got to talk to him for a little bit before we had to move again.

Later I visited a temple when we made a brief move to Japan. My parents almost put me in a psych institute when I kept trying to talk to one of the people praying at the temple. They acted like they weren't even there! And I found out later that they weren't. I kinda tried to stop freaking them out like that, after that incident.

After we moved here, I heard about the club and absolutely HAD to join! I mean, who could resist? I'm surprised more people haven't joined. Or do they think that we're all just crazy or something? Somehow Ralphonse found me again too, and he's my bodyguard! I don't know why the school let's him watch over me while at school. I'm just so confused by him. He's such a mystery and SO awesome at the same time.

Bio: All I know is his name really and that he's really noble. I met him and then I didn't see him for a while but he somehow showed up when I moved here and he convinced my parents somehow to let him stay as a personal bodyguard for me while my dad has to travel a lot.

He began to be home schooled by his mother and he lost all contact with his friends from school. Rin began to become a sad lonely child. He had continued to try and get evidence that the things he could see were real but his Parents did not believe him, so they tried to take him to a institute. As Rin was being driven to the institute he had overheard his parents whispering about him in the front of the car. His heart sank and he began to realize he was going to be locked up, he acted without thinking and opened the car door and jumped out of the car. He hit the ground hard, broke his right arm, and was knocked out in the process. His parents were shocked and looked back without looking ahead at the road; the car had driven off the edge of a cliff and fell into the water below. Rin had woken up in the care of a Beautiful maiden by the name of Akane. She had saved him and told him he had been passed out for nearly a week. Everyone assumed Rin to be dead for the Car that his parents were in was never found. Akane had told Rin all about the spirits & other strange things he had been seeing. For the next 2 years Rin & Akane formed a sort of “Brother & Sister” relationship. In the past Akane had tried many times to seduce Rin and eat his soul, but she soon found out he had no interest in that sort of thing. I only bothered to skim through the plot and realize it wasn't baseball before reserving. I didn't realize what you meant by co-founder either. Just thought it was odd wording for co-leader.
