As he checked his information module, he nodded at the rest of his team. "we need to pick up some ammo along the way, so pick up a melee weapon if you do not already have one.", he said, unsheathing a short blade from a pocket in his leg. "you heard me! get moving!"

Kayne was making explosives, not paying as much attention to what was being said. "Nearly there... Just a lil' more finishing touches to finish off..." He said whilst making. Once successful, he throws one grenade towards the other direction and found some ammo. Kayne then said: "Does anyone need ammo, because I appear to have found one?" However, it was just a dream when Kayne approached where he threw the grenade. It was merely a supply depot, as he saw infected animals instead. He said: "What the hell're they? This isn't what my father talked to me about... Very well." When he approached the rest of the team, he was unaware of what he has to do, therefore awaiting his mission. He said: "Yes, sir.. What did I have to do?"

[PAINTAIN GOD OF DUNDA MT.]

-Velvin turns to Kayne as he is taking some kind of drug to calm himself down and make him less crazy.- "What happened to you? Saw something you weren't supposed to see?" -He pulls out his blade...- "Or are you just being a fool and don't even know are we supposed to do? -He stands up as he notices hes almost of the the pills.- "I try not to overdose...But I just can't help it....sometimes I wish I wasn't this mutated freak that I am today...." -he sits back down and puts his hand on his head..- "Why did I do this sometimes...But I keep telling my self the same f***ing thing...I did this because I wanted to save people's lives.."

[Chaotic Angel]

"Ahh, taking too much of this drug, are you?" Kayne said as he looked at the drugs Velvin took. "I actually thought it was ammo, but it was actually dead bits of infected animals... Didn't see it coming, if I was honest..." Kayne said in a confused manner. Kayne carries on making grenades, although he already has 3000 in front of him. "Why... Is there not enough grenades for the lot of us... Or, maybe I keep losing some of them..." but Kayne carried on anyway. When Kayne finish making his grenades, he puts one of them inside his grenade launcher, ready to eradicate chaos that awaits him. Before that, he stores the over 3000 grenades behind him, ready for future use. "Hey, mate... You can use them as well... If you know how... Pull out the pin and throw the grenade while it's still cooking... These grenades know how to cook themselves to explosion, y'see..." Kayne said to Velvin.

[Hunter.]

"ha. funny. lets perform some recon. Kayne and Velvin, come with me. The rest of you, stay here ans wait for the signal!", he said, looking at the other soldiers. he begun walking up the sewer, and gripping his blade tightly, he saw at least ten infected. "you two! infected ahead!", he called, beginning to crouch with his blade. waiting for the other two, he saw a glimpse of sunlight. "the end of the sewer is not far now! you lot, get over here!", he bellowed.

ooc: btw, the other soldiers are npc's for now.

Kayne follows on, but as he saw some of the infected, he said: "Those are infected?" and looks away and continues to follow on. As he followed on, he saw a grenade pin, picked it up and said: "I could use that to build my grenade... Fair enough, it is!" but he realises that he left his 3000 grenades behind. He goes back to collect the box of grenades, and comes back with a heavy look. "Ooohh.. Crap. How am I meant to carry all of that!? Think I made too much..." as he put the box down and let out his grenade launcher, ready for conflict. "Tell me where to launch this stuff... I can fire this thing from pretty far away... I think." While Kayne rests for 5 minutes, after carrying a heavy load of grenades, then proceeds again, taking everything he possibly can.

[Hunter.]

slashing at a zombie, he soon realizes that the zombies get back up when they die. "we'll need that launcher round about now!", he called. grabbing his gun, he started shooting at the zombies, soon ripping holes in their stomachs. he looked on as Kayne made short work of the infected. "yeah, these are the infected. they'll eventually get stronger as we progress through the city. we need to head off to the main EvoTech building. i suspect that there will be ammo there. that may be the place of a hive also. prepare yourself for the entities that lie within!", he shouted.

Kayne prepares his launcher and fires grenades at the zombies. The grenades penetrated through the zombie's body, but still manages to get up. "Oh, f... We're f**ked, man. These zombies have no weakness... We just need to blow their heads off!" said Kayne as he confidently shoots through the zombies that await him. "I had enough of those guys... I'll see you in the main EvoTech building!" Kayne shouted as he heads off to the main EvoTech building, only to be stopped by more of the infected. "They will never give up, do they?" Kayne moaned as he rammed the zombies out of his way, but ends up having one zombie biting his leg. Kayne couldn't care less as he reaches the building. It had restricted access, so Kayne waited. "Do they have some sorta passcode? It seems to be locked right now..." Kayne said as he works out how to get in the building with a zombie still biting his leg.

[Hunter.]

"someone should see to that.", he said, entering his passcode into the building. empty, but a few scientists working on an experiment. "over here!", he called to a scientist, who thoroughly examined Kayne's leg. "that don't look good", he said as the scientist produced his report. he gave it over to Kayne to read it himself. "what does it say? i don't want to lose a team-mate so early on....", he questioned. he looked at the bite. "you may have hours to live without amputation..."

[Chaotic Angel]

"Ahh, sh-t." Kayne moaned as he yanks the zombie off his leg, taking part of it off. "Maybe that wasn't a good idea, okay... Now it's dead, because I may have strangled it." said Kayne with a confused look. Then he reads his report. "It says I have no diagnosis whatsoever, but I may have been infected, or on a verge to becoming zombified?" said Kayne as more zombies enter the building. "When will they ever give up now?" he moaned as he picked up a grenade he made from the box and threw it at the incoming zombies. The grenade exploded with blood and body parts spurting out. "Now, that wasn't supposed to happen, was it?" Kayne questioned himself, as he looked at his leg once more. He then said: "Yeah, I see signs of infection now... But, I don't wanna defect that early, or else I'd turn into a traitor!" while he asks the scientist for further tests.

[Hunter.]

"i have access to the lab 2 floors above us. they had a collection of artificial legs. they might have some other things up there too.", he said, pointing at the lift. "are any further tests required, Samuel?", he said. "cause if not, helping me take Kayne up to the lab would be brilliant. Velvin, stay down here and guard the door.", he said, throwing over his rifle. he grabbed a plasma smg which slid into a pocket, and headed towards the lift. " then we can go to the distillery for a drink!", he bellowed.

Kayne replied: "Take me to the lab, and fast... My leg's already infected... 65% infected..." as he bandages his leg to keep the infection under control. While Kayne waits, he looks over to Velvin, then to the encroaching zombies that heads towards the building. "Holy crap, they don't give up!" Kayne shouted as he makes a grenade twice his size, taking him an hour and a half to make. "This should do it... If not, we're doomed. We should take cover in 2 hours, as it could blow the whole floor up." as he takes his grenade outside the building and lured bait for zombies. "Being an explosives expert's an easy job... I know all about explosives and making this beast should eradicate the infected... Hopefully!" said Kayne. Since the grenade hasn't started, he still waits to enter the lab as his leg becomes 70% infected.

[Hunter.]

entering the lab, he saw a pile of artificial legs. "just in time too, your leg is ripping itself apart!",he said."hopefully velvin can hold them off..." the scientist rushed in with some local anesthetics. injecting Kayne's leg with it, he begun to slice off the infected leg with his short blade, quickly making short work of it. " now for the artificial leg", he said, grabbing one. he begun applying medical muscle regrowth putty and stuck on the leg. "might be a few minutes before you begin to walk again. at least we fixed your leg. now i'm going to go help Velvin!", he said.

"Ahh, brilliant!" Kayne shouted as his artificial leg starts working. Then the large grenade Kayne set up outside has activated. "Now may be the time to take cover... Encroaching zombies would be gone by the time my large grenade explodes... It takes 2 hours..." said Kayne as he starts walking again with his artificial leg. "It's fine, now... We just need to get this barrier up, because my grenade could explode from a 2000 metre radius!" as he goes back down to the entrance to check how long the grenade has left until explosion. It reads: "1h 53min 34secs" then Kayne comes back up to the lab and says: "We have plenty of time, fellas!" while more zombies attempt to enter the building, but seemed reluctant to, as Kayne looks outside the window, only to see zombies not wanting to enter at all because of the large grenade sitting in the entrance.

[Hunter.]

"you might want to shoot that infected leg. it might cling on to someone.", he said, building the barrier. " the grenade will blow up if we shoot it, yes? the infected don't stand a chance!", he shouted, taking a rifle and shooting down two infected clawing at the barrier. "Velvin! get up here!", he shouted, covering for him. "give me my gun back now, y'all won't need it.", he said.

[Chaotic Angel]

"No, no, no..." shouted Kayne. "This grenade won't explode just as simple as that! It's for zombies, and could kill us as well if we don't put up the barrier!" then Kayne calls out his grenade launcher and blasts the encroaching zombies to bits of infected flesh. Then Kayne saw his amputated leg. Rather than shooting it, he threw his infected leg in the air outside, then blasted it off with his launcher like flesh shower, as zombies would like it. "That's better now, isn't it? I won't have to worry about being infected now, would I?" as he gives half his grenades to the leader downstairs and Velvin, a quarter of the whole box each, while Kayne throws some of the grenades he had remaining, before making more grenades after running out.

[Hunter.]

"ooh, grenades.", he says, before throwing 3 at once and blowing apart at least 12. "body ladder!", he said, laughing. he shot down 5 from the barrier and continued building it at a surprisingly fast rate. suddenly, he saw the worst of all infected: a mutation. it had four legs and extremely large arms. "SHOOT! it's a mutation! it doesn't regrow, so shoot with all your might!", he shouted before proceeding to shoot the hell out of the mutation.

"Mutation already? Seriously..." Kayne moaned as he placed a bladed grenade he made earlier in his grenade launcher, jumped out of the window and started slashing the mutation with it. Then, as he accidently slashed the large grenade he made, he quickly runs inside the barrier and the large grenade explodes. "Whoops." said Kayne with a confused face as all the encroaching zombies had bits spurting out in front of Kayne and some of infected bits hit Kayne, causing him to fall flat on his back. "I'm fine, just need to rub this thing off... And, Ahh! What is that!?" shouted Kayne as he takes out a mirror from his pocket and saw that his face was filled with soil and zombie's guts. "I was not expecting that, but it looks kinda infectious..." Kayne said as he wipes the guts off before the infection gets to him.

[Hunter.]

better take a look at that, just in case... we can't amputate a head, even in our lab...", he said, still shooting the mutation before it got up. "Sam! take a look and see if it spread!", he shouted, just as the scientist rushes towards Kayne. "what does it look like? i don't want to lose a comrade already...", he said, proceeding to cover for them while the scientist tries to patch Kayne up. throwing a crafted grenade, he blows up enough infected to clear a path into the streets.

"It's not infected... However, these guts have got to go, before it does infect... I need to clean the whole thing up!" Kayne called as he grabs himself some cleaning accessories from the closet and started cleaning out zombie's guts and used grenades, especially the large grenade Kayne has made specially for zombies. After hours of cleaning, from the start of the RP, to the entrance of the EvoTech building, he eventually smashes open the sewers as he saw the way out, then enters the street with hover cars flying over him. "Is it safe out there? What if there are more infected, or mutations?" but he entered the streets anyway. He moves out of the road, and into the pavement and saw New York as a new city of the future. "Hey... That's nice! Might wanna hang around there for a while!"

[Hunter.]

"with this amount of people we'll never know.", he said, following up beside Kayne. he walked into the city; and immediately saw darkness floating over the buildings. "no... something is terribly wrong....", he said, drawing his gun and adding his scope. looking through it, he said, "these are infected all right, but they seem to have got cleverer. maybe they won't attack us?", he said, walking up the street. an unpleasant moaning filled the air. zombies filed out of buildings as it got darker. "positions!"

[Chaotic Angel]

"Preposterous!" shouted Kayne as he settles himself in position. "Launcher is online... Grenades ready... Let's do it!" as he inserted his bladed grenade into his launcher and started fighting the zombies. "It's getting darker by the minute... Everyone evacuate please!" shouted Kayne to the public as the zombies started encroaching with business buildings and wrecked hover cars. Kayne then slashed one zombie after another, causing zombie's guts to fly everywhere without hitting Kayne. "Hehe.. That should do!" he said, as he swaps his bladed grenade by throwing it at the zombies to an original one, then blasted the zombies from the wrecked hover cars while still hanging from the buildings, trying to kill the zombies there.

[Hunter.]

"all these zombies, you'd think that they're out to kill us, and not the public...", he said, shooting so hard his gun nearly overheated. "if we can get to the hive by midnight, new york is safe. get there after, and we'll be overrun.", he said, taking cover behind a wrecked hovercar. shooting so hard, he forgot to reload and had to draw out his knife. he slashed through 3 zombies and gave himself space to reload and started shooting again.

[Chaotic Angel]

"We know! All our objective is, to survive this crap and nothing else! Once we're done, we can rest, okay?" shouted Kayne as he takes out the zombies from inside the building, breaking off the window from the 21st floor. "Here, zombies... I know you're craving your brains, so have me! Whoa!" shouted Kayne as the zombies crashed out at him, then Kayne gets run over by one hover car attempting to stop. Afterwards, the zombie, who crashed into Kayne, heads for the leader, while Kayne grabs his launcher whilst crouching and aims for the zombies in the rubbish yard, in which there are more zombies coming out of it. "Ugh. Seriously, I had enough now..." while he blasts the lot of them out with his launcher, but some still live.

[Hunter.]

"Kayne!", he said, running over to him a helping him up. "never rush at times like this! take it slowly!", he said, handing him a med-kit. he then continues shooting the zombies to cover for Kayne while he gets up. "find cover!", he shouted, still shooting an incoming zombie while running towards cover. "we all get through this! i refuse to let anyone die!", he shouted, watching Kayne completely destroy the infection in the area.
