Never expected to see you here. OT: I agree. I actually skimmed through a few portions of the episode simply because I have an some form of intolerance towards Luna's old-English-type manner of speaking. Sure, I went back and watched what I skipped, but I still found it to be incredibly annoying, and slightly overplayed.
How is it you're persistently surprised whenever it comes up that I know/watch the show? I've mentioned it at least 3 times and each time you're alarmed that it's me. Yeah, it was REALLY annoying.

Well, for the record, I got into the show after Season 2 started, when it came up in a casual conversation. Before then, I knew next to nothing other than a million inside jokes and memes spawned around it. I had time to kill and nothing better to do, and found the episodes on Youtube. Watched it, liked it for the most part, enjoyed it more as time went on, and now I finally get most of the memes and references, in addition to the amusement of the show itself. The main guy who runs the site is completly anti-MLP, and then out of nowhere, has an MLP avatar and made the latest BOTM contest to be about MLP-bots. ....He was joking, of course, and changed everything back a few days later, but he annoyed the hell out of a good portion of the site's members. It was funny as hell for all the MLP fans.

You just never seemed the type to really like the show. Not saying I though you hated it or anything, but just that I thought you weren't really a big fan, is all. Imagining you, spending half an hour watching ponies go on magical adventures of superfun just doesn't seem to fit.

I was mostly oblivious to the show's existence, which made all the memes and references annoying as hell because I knew they were references and memes, but didn't have a clue what they meant. Off the top of my head, "20% cooler" was used so often here that it was impossible not to have heard the meme, but equally impossible to know what it referred to. And then I saw posts that each had a like a 10 second clip attached, which at least let me identify the show's name. And then when the first episode of Season 2 came out, I heard it mentioned again and decided to check it out. What I like about the show is very simple: The characters are well-done. The show, while likely marketed to young girls, doesn't condescend to the audience. In fact, a lot of dialogue and humor can be pleasing to a large audience. So I don't feel like it's a little girl's show about magical ponies, but a show that can be enjoyed by almost any demographic if they manage to get past the fact the characters happen to be girl ponies. I could try and get more of them to post in that club topic, but seeing as we don't allow duplicate characters.... ▪ατємυ▪
I have been 'deeply' into "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" only since round August. The first time I watched it, about episode six, it was 'meh'. Recently, due to my internet infatuation, I started to DVR the televised series and started to appreciate what children of the modern generation have missed in cartoons, they have this bullocked 'Phineas and Ferb' and other Disney fuckery, and some "Almost Naked Animals' shite that is not even a proper comparison to what we use to have on the Cartoon Network, like 'Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends' and 'The Powerpuff Girls', whom Lauren Faust storyboarded(The woman behind this awesomeness). This is why 'MLP: FiM' is so grand. It's a cartoon for a lost generation.

I don't think being from Disney is enough of a reason to dislike it. Remember love and tolerance ;D I still like how old English sounds. I've actually thought about using it in real life before, but "thy" and "thou" are about the only things I recognize due to not being an English speaker as my first language but I totally would.... Grunt Issun
Saw it on the tele myself, I had a reminder put on so I wouldn't forget... since I woke up like 3 hours before it started. Anyway, the fact that this was a Rarity episode makes up for the whole "She wasn't in the last episode at all" thing, hmm?
Sleepy
I don't have the Hub Yes it does. I usually post the episode after I finish watching it. Equestria Daily usually has a better quality one by then. This time I started watching after posting the link I'm so proud to be Applejack ^-^ I expected Rarity to say "This is THE. WORSE. POSSIBLE. THING." somewhere in the episode for some reason. ._____."
If Rarity was the one doing the competition instead of Applejack, then that means Rarity is too goddamn good at doing the chores Applejack and Applebloom did on the first half of the episode o_O
