I just realized that Rarity wasn't in the episode at all. D:

Oh well, that's probably because she was too busy voicing Princess Luna.

Pinkie, what's your first favorite PP quote?

It's from a fanfic.

Unless your counting the show...

Of course not, didn't you pay attention? She BECAME evil because people slept through the night. Duh.

Lets face it. We cant make sense of the canon 2-parter Pilot episode.

....Also, Ponyville needs a starbux.

I spent way too much of the episode convinced she had a split personality (the "we" thing) and wondering why NO ONE found this weird in-universe.

I have 2 theories on that:

-Maybe she was just used to always be in company with her sister when adressing important events and the such.
Being sealed in the moon probably didn't give her any chance to adopt any different modisms or customs during those 1000 years she got imprisoned. Thus, it might be just a mistake. She does stop adressing herself like that after a little past halfway the episode.

-Or maybe Nightmare Moon actually IS another personality that she permanently lives with. Not an "evil" side, but just another personality. It's always a possibility, I mean, 1000 years of solitary confinement far away of any living thing might be able to do that psychologically.
That would grant another explanation as to why she was able to transform to scare everyone. Of course "magic", but it would be another acceptable explanation still?

-Or maybe I'm just over analyzing the show xD

Lol at a Youtube comment about the episode blaming at Celestia for not having spent an ounce of time on her sister's problem to adapt to the new era.

Love how she sort of speaks in old English too. Dunno why I like it.
It's the "royal we" thing, but I didn't really catch that until after I watched the episode. The old English was actually kind of annoying, but it made sense all things considering.
Whoa. Never expected to see you here.

OT: I agree. I actually skimmed through a few portions of the episode simply because I have an some form of intolerance towards Luna's old-English-type manner of speaking. Sure, I went back and watched what I skipped, but I still found it to be incredibly annoying, and slightly overplayed.
