Username: Lunar Origin

Character Name: Ka Rye

Age(16-40): 32

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Reason for Climbing Tower: Rye is looking to end all life, including his own.
Weapon: Rye carries around an ornate diamond Karis-styled blade, though it isn't for show. The tip of the blade contains a liquid that can acts as a painkiller, numbing the pain of his targets. The reason for this is that he wants a challenge when fighting, and thinks "pain" subtracts from the overall enjoyment. If one has too much of the painkiller in their bloodstream, though, it can be quite fatal.

Personality: Just a couple of words can describe Rye; flamboyant, greedy, deceiving, conniving, and some might even say poetic. He is a brilliant strategist with a blackened heart. When it comes to allies, Rye sees them as more of a nuisance than something that would help him. Abandoning his allies was and will never be an issue with him. If they have the slightest bit of use, he'll try to wring that out as much as he can... but after that, you're as good as dead to him. This has of course made him many enemies, but he could not care less what they though. They are, after all, ashes in the wind. As he and his powers grow stronger, so do his enemies; He will not hesitate to pick a fight with someone stronger with him: It's as if he needs to prove to everybody that he is the best, and no one will ever be able to take his place as "king".

Bio:
Rye was born into quite possibly the worst area you could be living in; killings, rape, and other illegal things were something you couldn't avoid in this part of the Outer Tower. His family was slaughtered in front of his eyes as a young boy, as punishment for having stolen from one of the larger "mob" bosses that lived around the outer tower. Blaming himself, he ran. It wouldn't be until he was 18 until he returned to the slum he was raised in. He came back to find that it hadn't changed. The mob boss that had ordered the death of his family was now dead, and most of the mob members involved in that murder were either killed sometime later or had moved away. The mob leader did have remaining family, though. He had one daughter, named Lydia, and Rye swore to mercilessly carry out vengeance upon her solely because she was his only child.

Lydia was living in the house that her father had lived in; unlike most of the slum in the surrounding area, this house was quite nice. She was living her dream-life; Her husband was quite the nice guy, her one newborn child was beautiful, and she had riches beyond her wildest dreams. She thought it was perfect.

Rye was swift in his work. Taking a dagger made from sharpened rock, he knocked on the door to their home.

..."Hello?"

The door opened, and it was Lydia. She was beautiful, but that mattered not. Rye asked her one simple question. "How would you feel if your family was taken away from you, and you were left to live thinking it was your fault?"

"I..." was all she could say before the dagger went through her throat.

Then Rye ran, not looking back. He wanted the family to live with that;

They never did.

There is no egypt, or anything like that in this world. There is just the tower, and the outer tower, where your character would be from. Also, a spirit? It's interesting, but not really a race, but the shadow of a race. In this world, when someone dies and becomes a "spirit" their life force is just absorbed into the shinsoo of the tower.

Alright. I will rewrite this, then. Thank you oh-so very much for this bit of information.

Updated post, made him human and his biography is a bit darker... I would like to continue it, as it is unfinished, but I need to hit the hay so I'll turn it in as-is. Peace.

Why thank you for making my last post kinda wrong. >.> Not even your spirit gets to leave the tower.
