I fixed my app back on the previous page. I didn't realize they could only know two moves, was all. And before anyone says anything about having higher-leveled moves than I should, I was unclear if by "normal starting move", you meant any move learnable w/o Move Tutor or TM at Lv 1 (such as an Egg Move) or just what's listed on Bulbapedia as it's level-up moveset.

 

Johto? Umm...I'm sorry, but, a big thing with Rose was his childhood in Mistralton city. I promise I'll add the History later so that it isn't too confusing.

As the second pokemon you have Makoto is one of the 15 starters.

so kobras are small snakes & wouldn't be doing that

 

but arbok is long & big. like the snakes that would.

 

i can only recall about 3 Snake pokemon at the moment though.

 

so, they will be able to move, but they will be dying. Coupled upon HP loss. it can be remedied with a Super potion or higher applied directly to the wound. the stronger the pokemon, the stronger the potion will need to be. Also beheading a pokemon is death. But since doing that would have to happen after a Pokemon's HP is gone it doesn't matter yet.

 

As for starting: I have no Sinnoh or Johto trainers(thieat i know of right now. ) When we get 1 of each we'll be fine & can start. i'm definately going to keep the momentum up with the good progression of the OOC.

 

Now, i wish to ask you all, How Do you want to handle Conversations with multiple RPers, as I expect some of you to start traveling to gether if you don't be come rivals. or even if you do.

Personality: Alexander is very cold and calculating. He prefers for all problems to be solved scientifically and logically, rather than thinking outside of the box. He studies all of his opponent's actions in order to receive the best possible outcome. However, if someone does something against the norm or out of character, he gets very nervous, as he does not handle change very well, something that stems from his family relationships in his childhood.

History (optional): In regards to how he obtained Uxie, he formed an emotional bond with it at a young age, and the two would often play together. However, Uxie has never been formally "captured", only befriended.

Two things.

 

First, I will be wanting Torchic as my starter. The question is, will I have to go to Hoenn to get it, or do we just assume that each starting point now has a wider variety of starter Pokemon then just the first three for their area?

 

Second, everyone WILL be using third person for the rp. This is not negotiable, and my first official decision as the co-host. For one, it helps the story to flow a lot more better. For two, even only one or two people using first person when everyone else is either using second or third person as a whole severely detracts from the rping experience. (and no, we will not be using second person either)

 

If anyone has a problem with this then they can take it up with Wham, but rest assured that I will do all within my power to dissuade him from the silly notion of doing anything but third person rping.

and i take it your cyndiquil is your starter & first. thats fine.

 

but it cannot possibly know drop kick. so pick another move. one that it can learn through breeding or naturally. the breeding move can't b too strong. so flame wheel at best.

Wait, what? I never heard of Second person......how the hey do you do that? but also, you should at the least put it up on the tags or first post that this would be a Third Person RP anyway, or else people wouldn't know unless they deliberately look for post #63. And I would think you would have to go to Hoenn, it would make the pokemon world a bit more natural, considering how each species of Pokemon is best found in their respective Region with minor exceptions. Also...15? I know large groups can be helpful, but too many characters is gonna mess with the plot if too many people are not on at the same time.

as for Rping POV, i regret bringing it up, because i realized that people are capable of filling in details. aside from conversation. my only things is questions

 

As starters, I'll just tell everyone how i'm gunna get cyndaquil as an example.

 

I'll go to professor oaks lab & look at all the starters that will be thwre. tghe fire won't be there at the time. a news report will come on talking about a recent spotting of a wild cyndaquil near pallet that has red flames with a black center. its said to also have a glow coming from it. but its not confirmed. (the cyndaquil isn't shiny, it just glows in certain scenarios) Oak tells me that is the Johto fire starter & that if it is ok to capture it if i can. so i go w/oak, battle cyndaquil & catch him.

 

The point of that example, is to show that you can have wat you want, just do it effectively.

 

But there is 1 more very important detail.

 

The Dream. Big part of plot. Aside from Bad guys.

you can even run into a wild beldum regularly.

 

and Jz the Dream can be made by each person, as in social and other interactions. but as for the message I control.

 

The dream needs to be included in your first post. in fact you don't even need to investigate or dweel on it. it should be a hazy coming too & these two phrases

 

"From wandering through your realm, I have summoned you..."

 

"Behold, for in this Game of Life, you are the EndEra."

Hey, I've got a question...Will we be allowed to venture outside of our home region? Also, are Fossil Pokémon readily available in the wild or do we have to head to a museum/lab to revive them?

For Fossils, the only way to gain them, is through a lab museum. Labs will be in in every starter city & cinnabar. there will more likely be more. Fossils can be found in Amber and dug up. There will be a time period for fossils though.

 

oh i've developed a system for catching legends.
