Thar Posted August 9, 2011 Report Share Posted August 9, 2011 Just to avoid over-thinking my bright ideas, I will just be hosting a generic Custom Card contest. [spoiler=Rules] 1. All YCM rules apply. 2. No spamming, flaming, trolling, etc. 3. Any posts regarding complaints or anything related will be marked for spam and could possibly lead to your disqualification. 4. All posts that contain rule-breaking material will be reported and possibility of disqualification. 5. Unless you are a moderator, I am in charge of this thread. [/spoiler] This will be a pot-luck contest. There is no required donation fee, but it is appreciated and necessary if you want a big prize. [spoiler=Pot] 425 points [/spoiler] [spoiler=Prizes] 1st - 50% of the pot and a like. 2nd - 20% of the pot and a like. 3rd - 10% of the pot. [/spoiler] The challenge is simple. Make a realistic card based on a fantasy setting. Creature cards are preferred, but Spells and Traps are accepted. No Fusion, Synchro, Ritual, etc. The card must have at least 5 lines of text with good OCG, spelling, balance, originality, creativity, and playability. If I see any mistakes based on these attributes during judging I will not hesitate to dock you points. Also, one last note. Any person who is willing to judge this contest please come forward. I am a bit picky on whom, however. To qualify for judging, you must: -Be a 3 star member or higher. -Have experience with judging contests for 3 to 4 star members or higher. -Know a good Yu-Gi-Oh card when you see it. -Be able to point out both the obvious and the not-so-obvious mistakes in a card. -Is non-pious. [/quote] What I meant by "fantasy" was the genre, meaning the setting is based around medieval times (swords, shields, etc.) Cartoons are fine, just make sure they match the setting. Once per turn, by paying 1000 life points, select 1 zone on the field. no cards can be put on that zone untill this card is destroyed, and if there is already a card on that zone, Banish it untill this card is sent to the Graveyard. If this card were to be attacked, Banish this card before damage calculation. When "Toon World" on the field is destroyed, destroy this card. If "Toon World" is on your side of the field and your opponent does not control a Toon Monster, this card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly. If this card successfully inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, Special Summon 1 Toon Monster from your hand.
