Airride
I've noticed a huge surge of alts recently, so I got a few ideas how to mildly protect from that. I might have repeated some things we already do.

Unable to use an IP more than once.
Unable not able to use an email more than once.
Mods have to check if the same IP was used before, before approving an account.
That's All I have.
Welche the crab
Mods can't approve all accounts, there are too many. Plus me and Luna have the same IP. Horrible idea, no support.
Umbra
Solution? Report an alt whenever you see them. You can't expect the mods to do everything for ya; it's called a commmunity for a reason.

Umbra
I can't speak for the mods, but PMing them with sufficient proof should be good enough.

Bad idea. 2nd: I don't see anything wrong with this one....but people can just make alt e-mails too. 3rd: YCM Mods? Do big work? Does not compute. Cin
With YCMaker giving us more access, we can check IPs now, we'd ban all the spambot/Alt IPs, but we did that once and blocked several members from the forum. (I think JG was included in that). E-mails are so easy to create nowadays, I have several alternative e-mails (back when I had several Photobuckets)

What if siblings share a comp and one of them is a YCM member and the other one wants to join too? 2. Less common, but still the sibling problem is possible, like if they both submit their parent's email. 3. As long as you consider the above.
