Start of the Senet archetype (Inspired by Cyberdark Impact) 3 cards currently

Recommended Posts

So I felt like taking a risk and expanding on something that Konami tried to do with Cyberdark Impact with cards like Alien Infiltrator and Senet Switch. Now I've only made 1 card, but I've already introduced 3 new terms. They are as follows...

Middle (Mosnter, Spell/Trap) Card Zone: The middle column of the playing field. Pretty self explanatory really.

Inner (Monster, Spell/Trap) Card Zone: These are the two zones directly adjacent to the Middle Zone.

Outer (Monster, Spell/Trap) Card Zone: These are on the edge of the playing field.

I'll see if I can get a pic for easier understanding later.

My first cards are:

Senet Guardian
lvl 8/2600 ATK/2300 DEF
Warrior/Effect
This Monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. You can destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card you control: Special Summon this card (from your hand) to a Monster Card Zone in the same Column as the destroyed card. There can only be 1 “Senet Guardian” on your side of the field. This card gains the following effect, depending on the Monster Card Zone it is in.

Middle Monster Card Zone: This monster cannot attack directly, and you cannot Summon monsters into either of the Inner Zones.

Inner Monster Card Zone: Once per turn, you can destroy 1 face-down card on the field. This card cannot attack the turn you use this effect, even if it leaves the Inner Monster Card Zone.

Outer Monster Card Zone: If your opponent’s attacking monster and the attack target are not in the same column, you can negate that attack and destroy the attacking monster. This monster loses 500 ATK when you use this effect.
Senet Monk
lvl 3/1200 ATK/1100 DEF
Spellcaster/Effect
When a “Senet” monster is Special Summoned: You can Special Summon this monster from the Graveyard. If you Summoned a Senet monster to your opponent's side of the field: you can destroy 1 card on the field. An opponent’s monster that is in the same column as this card cannot declare an attack. If you do not control a monster in a Monster Card Zone adjacent to this monster: this monster can attack your opponent directly.

Sentry Camp
Field Spell
Monsters cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster in the same column. Once per turn: Either player can move 1 monster on their side of the field to an adjacent unoccupied Monster Card Zone. Whenever a “Senet” monster declares an attack: The owner of the monster can discard 1 card; They move the attack target to the Monster Card Zone directly opposite of the attacking monster and the attacking monster gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only.

I think you need some more.

Senet Pawn
*
EARTH/Rock/Effect
If you opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Special Summoned: target up to 2 "Senet Pawn" in your hand or Graveyard; Special Summon them. Once per turn: You can Tribute this face-up card and destroy all cards in that monster's column.
100/100

Possible +2 with Monster Reborn, Call of Haunted, One for One, etc.

Kill stuff or just Xyz into Hachijyusan...

Sounds more like a Monster form of Blasting Fuse :/

Also, no offense, but I kinda like making my own cards, and I posted the topic to get comments on the cards I posted :/

My reasoning is that I made support for you because you did that good a job with this archetype. If I didn't like it, then why would I bother posting here?

Besides, it's not against the rules (far from it really).
